36/10 numbers on the 1.8T Premium are .00033 and 57%. Using your MSRP and "Out the Door" amount, I get a pre-tax payment of $414.08/mo.
If the entire $1813 down is cap cost reduction, the payment drops by about $50/mo

What state is this?
I'm in Utah. I have had them run my credit yet but I should be tier 1 without any issues. They did say the money factor they gave me could improve once they see my credit. So I should be shotting for a $364/mo payment or lower for 36/10? Thanks for the help.
Hi there,
I'm in California looking at a 36/15 lease on a 2.0T Premium Plus. Will you please review these figures?
Selling Price: $36,500
MSRP: $39,950
Residual: 56% = $22,372.00
Money Factor: .00062
There is also a $1,000 dealer rebate applied.
Zero down yielded a monthly payment of $487.28.
Thanks in advance!
You are getting the base MF, so that's a good start. 36/15 on the Premium Plus is 53%; 56% is the 36/15 residual on the Premium trim level.
Where and how is the rebate applied? To the selling price?

Hoping to get some guidance for the A3 for a complete beginner.
I'm in California and wondering what the money factor and residuals for a 1.8 Premium and 1.8 Premium Plus would be? 10k a year for 3 years and 10k a year for 2 years?
Also, where should I be aiming to start negotiations in terms of % under sticker price?
I'm moving over from Mercedes and wondering how I can leverage that for further discounts or special offers in addition to summer sales event offers?
Hoping to put 0 down and pay less than $400 a month.

.00033 MF and 57%/64% residual for Premium, 54%/61% for Premium Plus.
Usually, 6% off MSRP is a good target price for Audi. This model has an additional $600 rebate, this month. There is also a $500 "conquest" rebate, if your current Mercedes is 2001 or newer.
thanks! so it's definitely possible to combine rebates? and how does that work? i just plug in all the numbers once i have the agreed price as above, then simply minus the rebates ($1100) to the total loan amount?

Keep in mind that the dealer will probably quote you a price with the rebates included. Don't ever assume that they are going to subtract from the price they've quoted.
LA Dealer asking price for 1.8T premium with driver assistance, 18 inch wheels, and cold weather package is $34,815. Does that seem wildly inflated? Say I offered $32,000 does this math check out for a 3 year lease including $1100 rebate: 0 down / $398 a month
and 2 year lease including $1100 rebate: 0 down / $488 a month?

MSRP 43,520 Cap cost 41,108 Rebate 1,750 Net cap cost 39,358 MF 0.00043 RV 56% at 36/7.5
Works out to $444/mo (which I think checks out).
Can someone please confirm MF and RV as of 7/2?
Also, if I'm paying taxes upfront, is that supposed to be assessed on MSRP - RV, cap cost - RV, net cap cost - RV, or something else? Is there any reason to pay taxes upfront? (dealer defaulted to that).
Finally, dealer is charging $590 admin fee (separate from $695 acquisition fee) upfront - how reasonable is that?

Those are the correct lease numbers (.00043 and 56%).
Can't comment on the taxes, unless we know which state.
$590 seems exorbitant to me... but, you have to look at the total price (selling price + admin fee). If that total price is good, then how they break it down isn't important.
I priced an A3 premium plus today (7/2/15).

My cap cost is the sale price (6% off msrp with supplier program) plus $199 after-market charge (I'm going back to my rep to figure out what that is).
I'm going to ask to eliminate the admin fee because that defeats the purpose of the supplier program...
Tax quoted upfront is $1,693.60 for New York, NY registration (8.875% sales tax). That implies a taxable amount of $19,082 which is approximately equal to 44% of MSRP. Coincidence?
I like to roll the taxes in... If you total that car after 3 months, the state isn't going to rebate those taxes.. but, if you roll them in, GAP insurance will take care of it.
Hello Michaell and kyfdx,
Can you provide the money factor and residual for a 2015 Audi A3 1.8T and 2.0T Premium Cabriolet? Also, what is the current MSD program for Audi?
Thanks in advance!
What lease term and how many miles per year?
Audi MSD program allows 9 MSD each of which reduce the MF by .00005
Sorry! This is for a 42 month lease at 12,000 miles per year. I just want to make sure the dealer's residual is correct and money factor is not inflated. Thanks.

- What is the current MF and RV for 2015 A3 2.0 TFSI Premium sedan? 36 months/15K miles - How much does going from Premium to Premium plus change the RV - If I want a 20K mile lease, is it 15 cents extra per mile if prepaid or is there another way to do it (e.g. Mercedes has a 20K lease option which reduces RV by 5%)?

.00043 and 55% for Premium. Subtract 3% for Premium Plus
I believe Audi charges per mile for anything over 15K.
On a base 1.8 Audi A3 in California, I got the sale price down to 26990 before taxes.
The money factor they gave me is .00044,
The Residual is 55% ( but when they calculated it hey calculated it off the MSRP of $31,315)
With 2500 cash due, 36 mo lease, monthly price is $288.
Does this seem right?
I was wondering if the residual should be calculated off the MSRP or price negotiated from dealer (26990 in this case) The dealer told me the residual was set by Audi and non negotiable.
Quick question from someone new.

36/12 residual is 55% and is calculated against the MSRP. It is fixed by the bank.
