I get $479/mo.+tax. Ask them for the CAP cost. If it isn't $46000, then ask them why.
Finalized today. 2015 rx350 awd. Zero Down. 499/mo. 36 months 10k/yr. 45844 cap cost on 50842 sticker. .0009 mf. 61% residual. Plus we had 2 years left on a non-lexus lease and they took that in trade with nothing due from me. Applied all the incentives to get there (lease cash etc)
The part I truly love is how the actual contracts never reflect reality. they do in the bottom line and what I pay and what I owe and terms. everything else is the best of fiction. thats been true at any brand and dealer on lease deals (typically they show paying MSRP, then applying some money from a trade or something)
Thanks for the help. the forums are a great way to sanity check and ensure you are not missing something.

looking at 27 or 33 month on the above. i.e. what is the best monthly payment one should expect on a 48 K MSRP, AWD, RX 350 with no money down vs one pay upfront for same term
so in real money terms/ a 33 month lease at 10 or 12 k miles / year with no money down , no upfront costs , what would you expect to pay for a 48 k list price RX350?
Looking to buy new 2015 350rx (awd) with following options: Navigation pkg., luxury pkg, premium pkg with blind spot monitor. Coming up with MSRP around $50,200. Plan on paying cash. Any one else recently priced out/bought such a model? Offers all over the place and trying to determine what i should be shooting for in terms of best deal. Thanks in advance for the input.

Don't know unless we have the negotiated selling price.

Use the "Make / Model / Year" pull downs at the top of the page to help establish a target price.
Looking at a AWD RX350 , MSRP 48500, I am figuring current lease incentives are first month paid and 1000$ incentive Dec to Remember. For a 33 month lease, 10 k miles per year lease what would be a good deal w no money down , i.e. sign and drive. Im thinking 450 would not be unrealistic? Is that too low, high etc?

We would need to know the cap cost in order to model a payment.
I was just offered a lease for 2015 RX 350 F sport. MSRP 53,019 27 month with 10k per year. Monthly 535.56 with $1250.50 due at signing. First month free. Is this a good deal?

When ending a lease early and having a dealer accept the early lease payoff for a new lease or purchase, it is essentially the same as any trade. Each lease has a payoff amount due at any time. Quite often, that payoff amount is less than the real trade value of the vehicle. For example, my last trade was an Acura TL. The payoff was about $27,000 but the KBB, NADA, or Edmunds trade in value was $29,000. I got the $2,000 as an additional reduction to the capitalized cost on the new vehicle.
In such a situation, a dealer would be very happy for a buyer to accept the dealer simply accepting the lease payoff. The buyer would be best served to research the actual trade value prior to initiating a new lease.
I just received the following quote for an AWD RX350 (with nav package) in NYC. Would be grateful for thoughts on the deal (which also includes first month payment). Doesn't seem like a great discount from MSRP. Much appreciate the thoughts.

Received these two offers today without negotiating. My wife was in the dealership and took two cars out to take a test drive. They made two offers to her, the residual values surprised me a bit. Any thoughts on the residuals or the sales price?
First - RX350 FWD with Comfort, Navi, Towing Prep, 19" wheels, park assist, premium with blind spot and Wood and Leather steering wheels.
MSRP $49,979 Sales price $47,129 (not sure if they factored in the $1,000 lease credit) MF .0009 Residual 68% on 15k/27 mo lease (this seems like a high residual)
Second - RX450h FWD with Comfort, Navi, 19" wheels, park assist, premium with blind spot and Xenon lights
MSRP $56,164 Sales price $53,664 MF - same Residual 64% same otherwise

Michael, many thanks. Another local dealer seems to have just given me a better offer:
Cap cost: 44,161 (includes 1,000 rebate) (MSRP: 50, 435)
Due at signing: 2,189 (includes Lexus-covered first month payment; 1,117 in taxes (NYC), 700 bank fee, and 85 dealer fee)
monthly payment: $400
This seems about as low as I can expect them to go on this model, right? Just when I think I have the lowest offer, another one pops up. Thanks again for providing transparency to this process!

Hi, so this is my first time on this forum and need help with my lease I was offered for a 2015 RX 350 with MSRP of 47,314_ $0 down 10,000 mi yr, sale price for this particular RX 350 is $42,938. For a 36 month term, using 10,000 miles per year, with zero(0) cash out of pocket, the monthly payment would be $590.86. The residual amount is $28,861.84 and the money factor used is .0016. I am in Dallas/Fort Worth area and can't seem to negotiate the rate factor or the residual. From what I have been reading here this lease sounds horrible. At this point I am so confused with all the numbers. Please help! I want this to be a December to remember! Thanks!

The base MF is .00090, $1000 lease cash from Lexus and complimentary first payment.
You can't negotiate residual, but you can negotiate the money factor (you want the base MF). Find another dealer, if this one won't negotiate.
Thanks for the quick response. Is the $1000 lease cash and complimentary first payment a national program? I am in Texas and this was not mentioned to me. My dealer mentioned tax credits??? 1% tax instead of the normal 6.75% auto tax.
Based on prior trends, is it better to wait to lease a 2015 RX until after December to Remember? It appears Lexus had a lower MF, 1,500 lease cash, and first month payment last early winter through spring.
How lucky do you feel? It's a bit risky to assume that a manufacturer is going to offer the same incentive next quarter as they did last quarter, much less last year.
But you may be on to something. Last year the True Cost of Incentives for Lexus was $2,510 (for the brand, not specifically for the RX 350). This past November it was $3,018, a 20% increase over a year ago. It's unlikely that the incentive will substantially change any time soon or go away. But we really can't say for sure.
I don't know about the MF, but it likely followed the same trend at the incentives.
If you go to our TCI page, you can download a spreadsheet showing incentive trends.

My understanding is that this is a national program.
Texas is one of a few states that applies sales tax to the entire sales price of the car; the credits exist to reduce that tax burden.
I currently have an IS 250 lease that has 2 months left on it. I'd like to get into and RX350. The RX MSRP that I want is $49, 699. They've offered $2,900 down, $486 per month 27 month/10k lease and they'll send me a check for my last two lease payments on the IS totaling $930. I'm in TX. Is this a good deal or should I be pushing for less down?

Not enough information ... what is the selling price? How is the $2900 being applied? Texas taxes the entire selling price (but tax credits may be available).
I would suggest you head over to the "Real World Trade in Values" to get a valuation on your current IS250. You might have more equity in it than the dealer is offering you.
Just left the dealer with my 2015 RX350. Here's my deal:
27 months/7500 miles; NYC area
MSRP: 50,435
Cap Cost: 44,161 (after 1,000 lease cash)
1,117 - taxes 700 - bank fee 350 - DMV = 2,189 at signing
MF: .00090; Residual: 70%
Monthly: $400
I did my homework and shopped 4-5 dealers in the NYC area against each other. I figured I landed a good deal when none of the other dealers would match.
Many thanks to @Michaell for the reliable and quick advice.
I am new to leasing cars and I'm trying to understand everything. I received a few specs sheets from the dealers with the MSRP, so from what I am reading here, the price shown on MSRP, could that price actually go lower? I guess what I am trying to ask is that price on MSRP is should not be the selling price?
Also, how are you guys getting offers with MF, residual, monthly pmts. I am just shopping around to see what price I can get however none of the dealers has given me numbers to work with. Do you guys give them your SS to look up your credit score in that way they can come up with these numbers? I'm skeptical in giving my personal info to the dealer but is that needed for them to give me an offer?

National base MF is .0009
Residuals @ 10K miles:
24 mo = 71%
33 mo = 64%
36 mo = 61%
-1% for 12k miles, and -2% (3% total) for 15k miles. For example, 24/12 would be 70% and 24/15 is 68%?
Do I have all that right?
+ free first month payment?
Yes.. that's all correct... plus, $1000 lease cash.
