The ZR-0 is the chrome outline of the "1" looking like a stylized "0." I had to laugh that I saw the outline rather than the "1" that many Vette fans would have seen probably.
When I looked at the sticker and my shock wore off at te price, I realized it was a ZR-1 package. There's also a carbon package, an orange package, and track package and 3ZR premium package. My pict also includes the $10,000 markup.
I took the picture in case I got home and decided to call back to have them hold the car for me... LOL
Of course it does. I wouldn't have said that to lie. I told the owner that it looks like a ZR-0 and she went out to look at the trunk to see what I was seeing.
I think fans of Vettes know it's a "1" and they see a "1." I am not up on VetteSpeak, so I saw a "0."

my local Volvo dealer of all places has a used G wagon (they very rarely have non-Volvo used cars). If this price is reasonable, people who buy these are nuts!

You value isells judgement over mine? We don't even know where his is!
I'm sitting right here! Edmunds once again, decided my password was no good so this time I finally gave up with a lot of sorrow on my part. Suddenly one day, out of boredom I tried one last time and it actually let me in. For a minute I thought I had been banned.
Isell, I am so very excited to see you posting again! That’s dangerous to my health, by the way - getting very excited about anything at my age with all my medical problems can be fatal!
If anything happens to you Mike, we will direct your lawyer to who they should sue!
Well, if you're going to handle this, just let his lawyer know where to send the money found in the envelope in the upper left side of his dresser marked, "Airfare Money for jmonroe".
jmonroe
I never leave money in my dresser or my home and I certainly would not put money in an envelope marked for air-fare for anyone named Monroe. I would leave a note stating that my ash remains be sent to jmonroe in a cardboard box for distribution. Air-fare? You must be dreaming!
Does anyone know how much I can get for a half pound of ashes from a passed Edmunds star member?
jmonroe
Are you sure it will only be a half pound?
I didn't want all 300 pounds of him, just a representative sample. Plus, I thought I'd be nice and save some of him for the rest of you guys.

@driver100 Also they are planting ideas in your mind of why you should be donating. Pushing a guilt trip that you have not donated a million or so already.
Imid, that is probably true. One of the questions later was....would you consider leaving a donation in your will?
Now that I think, my alma maters used to send me all kinds of solicitations to donate to them because it was tax deductible from my Indiana income tax (I don't live in Indiana where BSU is) or I should donate just to feel good to the others. They also mentioned I could transfer stocks and bonds to them at a tax benefit and that I could leave my estate to them. Last thing I want is some university using my money for a sports program.
Well, I’ve decided to follow the New Orleans Super Bowl boycott and instead watch a rerun of the 2010 game. That should prove some point....just not sure which one.

I, too, have decided to "boycott" today's Super Bowl. I guess I'll watch reruns of "The Incredible Dr. Pol" and will enjoy watching the great vet save even more lives.
One would think that a semi-final NFL game would have had the very best refs in the league officiating. I watched that game and it was poorly officiated considering the importance of the result. New Orleans, IMHO, would have defeated the New England Patriots in that game several weeks ago had such an obvioius "pass interference" penalty been called.
Shifty is correct - life isn't fair and neither is the officiating of the NFL at times. Human beings make mistakes, but this was such an obvious mistake that even if New England wins the Super Bowl, there should be a "star asterisk" (*) next to the winning team indicating that due to poor officiating, chances are that New England would never have been competing in the Super Bowl. There, I've said what I really feel about this.

Spoke with my grandson on the phone last night. He said he's broke so I'll deposit a couple of hundred bucks into his checking account so he'll have something to fall back on.
He told me he developed strep throat and "mononucleosis" 3 weeks ago and was in the hospital for a couple of days. He was given injections of "immune globulin" to help fight the infections as well as IV fluids to keep him hydrated. Poor kid - and because of an enlarged liver and spleen, he is going to miss the first two weeks of the baseball season out in Nebraska. They play indoors for the first two months of the season which is a great way to get all the games in before the tournaments. His doctors and coaches won't clear him to play baseball until February 25th. Once he gets medical clearance and coaching clearance, he'll be a starting pitcher. They also moved him to first base when he's not pitching.
I remember way back in the 1950's and 1960's that "mono" was called the "kissing disease" because lots of guys and gals in middle school and high school would come down with it after heated kissing and other contact sports with their girlfriends. I asked him about that and he said that he did not participate in "that" sport weeks prior to his getting sick. He said he awakened one morning with a sore throat. So he went to the infirmary where the nurse and doctor had him taken to the hospital due to his high fever. The blood test a week or two later confirmed the mononucleosis. But at least he did great on his finals from what he told me.
Just because young people are off at college doesn't mean they are safe and sound. I hope his recovery is swift and uneventful.

LOL, there's also old MASH reruns...
I've seen so many M.A.S.H. reruns in the past 15-20 years that I know the dialogue by heart for each episode. Haven't gotten that far with Dr. Pol. But I don't watch "Two and a Half Men" any more because I know the dialogue by heart for the Charlie Sheen episodes.
Gang, can we move on to subjects other than death, cremation, etc. I have my reasons.
Sorry, ab, some of us do tend to over-dissect a topic. Refrigerators, Washers/Dryers, Sirius/XM, Dishwashers, Microwave Ovens, to name a few. But that topic you are referring to might be my fault - my apologies.
I'm off to Menards to do some big box store shopping. Trying to get a replacement dog bed for the grandpuppy that's on clearance and only available at a few other stores.
There was one year when there was some football game on this time of year and I went to Lowes. The place was empty. I was the ONLY customer. And there were very few employees visible. Maybe they were all in the break room, but I think they planned for a low customer count because of some football game being on.
glad the polar vortex apparently went back to where it came from. Got 2 increadibly dirty cars washed this afternoon (daughter's Jetta was the dirtiest car I think I ever had the privilege of washing). that and the RDX and shiny now. TLX needs a bath too, but that will get done tomorrow.
Wife took hers' to the car wash. I'm taking the truck tomorrow. Still light when I get out of work, so I'll have time wipe down the door jambs and tailgate before it gets too cold.

Yesterday in contrast was bedlam. All the men must have sent their wives and girlfriends out to buy snacks because everywhere I went I had a woman driver tailgating me. I don’t understand why women like to ride your bumper instead of roaring past you at high speed like a guy would.

snake, it is still an improvement. And I guess people don't feel like doing it during the week. The car washes by me had crazy long lines too. No line in my driveway however!
always odd to be out washing the car standing next to the remains of a snow pile.
If there is a lot of water on the road due to the snow melting, I'll wash the car or the truck and leave it home after that for a few days. You have to get the stuff off the underneath.

I noticed women can be worse then men...or almost as bad when it comes to tailgating, but, I think it is for different reasons. Overly aggressive males do it to try and push the car in front to go faster or move aside. Some women do it because they don't have any idea of space and stopping distance....they are in a hurry and don't realize how long it takes to stop if the car in front stops or slows down suddenly. Might be PI but that is my theory.

One thing that confuses me is that they list the lowest Stingray trim at about $56k but when you click on details they say it has a $70k sticker.
The only trim that comes close to $155k is the ZR1 but you’d have to have a hefty ADM to get it there.
