The first dealer's MF quote is wrong. Possibly, hasn't taken into account the new base MF for October is .00134, instead of .00130.

Also, your 2nd quote, is more than $175 higher, because it's on a vehicle that has an MSRP $605 less than the first quote. That makes the residual lower and the depreciation higher. I didn't run the figures, but it only takes $700 difference to get to $20/mo, and that accounts for most of it.

KYFDX, Thanks for the info. Do you only advise on BMWs or on any car? If the latter, what is the best leasing deal on any mid-size convertible (not a mini cooper for example) right now? I am trying to keep the car price below 40K and even <30K would be better

Hard to say .. in general, BMW's lease better than Audi's (A3 or A5 Cabrio).

Not many mid-sized convertibles under $30K anymore .. unless you want a stripped Camaro or Mustang.

I am now ready to lease a 2016 BMW 228i convertible. Thanks for the prior info but I know that everything has changed and they now have a lease special on a 39 month lease/10k.
In deciding how to best move forward I would ask for the MF and residual for November for 39 months (or 36 months if that's all that's available).
AND does anyone ever know what is coming up for December before the end of November?

I'm sure the sales manager of the dealership gets the numbers a couple of days ahead, but we don't.

ALG numbers are "real world" numbers for use by independent banks. They are basically useless.

Ironically, in reality, they have nothing to do with the numbers offered by captive finance companies, like BMWFS.

Those numbers are correct for new or demo cars. $500 buildout for 2015. $1000 option credit for 2016

Almost closing the deal when I spotted some $ inconsistency. I'd appreciate assistance.

The finance manager told me that $500 buildout allowance has restrictions for new lease or finance. He said that the rebate only applies to 2015 m235i retailed before 6/30/15. Since he bought the car from auction in NJ (corporate fleet) on January 10, 2016 then the rebate does not apply. Can you please verify?

$350 disposition fee was also added to the quote but I know it should be waived since I am entering a new lease. Shouldn't this be excluded already? Or should I just go to BMW FS and get that credited back to the account?

For the loyalty credit of 2 payments, is it correct that the 1st credit is applied as rebate (for cap reduction) and the 2nd one is applied to the next payment (the first bill from BMWFS)?

1. Not aware of any eligibility requirements for the buildout allowance. Contact another BMW dealer and see what they say.
2. Disposition fee is non-negotiable
3. I don't have any information on how the loyalty credits are applied.
