2016 - .00131 and 58% for 36/12 on Countryman and Countryman S. $500 customer cash.

Not sure if you guys would know, but you seem to have the hookup on all sorts of stuff.

First question: Is the $500 customer cash stackable with the $500 USAA member incentive?

Second question: When I leased my last car (a mercedes) there was a tax credit (not a trade tax credit - there was no trade involved) - instead of paying the 6.25% rate that is normal in Texas, I only had to pay 1.5%. Does Mini offer anything like this on leases?

Last one: I think I read somewhere that you have the option on Mini leases to have the acquisition fee waived in exchange for a higher money factor. Is this the case, and if so, how much does the MF jump?

1) No info on stackability, but I would guess they are.

2) Haven't seen anything on tax credits for MINI, but other makes have them in force, right now. Maybe it's an end of the year thing, in Texas? Wouldn't hurt to ask your dealer.

3) Last I saw the MF bump was .00035 to waive the acquisition fee. It's usually better to pay the fee and roll it into the lease than take the waiver bump. Shorter terms and lower prices might tilt it the other way.

current MINI numbers and incentives expire 1/4/16, though the 2016 Countryman only shows $500 customer cash, not $1250.

Countryman: .00052 MF and 59%/59%/55% residual. $1500 customer cash

If the MINI MSD program is similar to BMW (parent company), then it's 7 MSDs, each of which reduce the MF by .00007

However, I am having trouble seeing how this low car price ties to the lease payments. Note, I am putting down $2800 in multiple security deposits so the Cash Due is not a cap cost reduction but a reflection of the multiple security deposits to reduce the money factor.

Does this deal check out? They used .00089 and 58% as the reduced money factor because of the security deposits (originally .00131 before the security deposits).

Thank you, the sales tax broken out like that seemed odd. I am in Northern CA (8.75% sales tax). MSRP is $27,750.

Yep, those numbers are correct. Countryman is about ready to be replaced, so MINI is trying to move the existing inventory with the low MF.

Need end of lease advice:

Leased a 2013 Mini cooper S in Jan 2014 for 30 months/25k miles. The car has only 8500 miles on it with 4 months left on the lease. The Gross capitalized cost was 30,500 and the payoff is $17,400. Do you think with such low milage it would be dumb to give it back in or should I buy it out. The car has no problems and is in excellent condition.
