I have quote for 2014 ct 200h for 27 month lease,MSRP is $38869 ,price is $36169, MF is .00090, residual is .71 and payment is $370.56 Is this a good deal ? The car is in california

I don't have a lot of information on the 2014 model lease. But, my calculation is $374/mo... You still have tax on top of that, right? If not, how much is due at lease signing?

@Michaell@Edmunds I got an offer today on a 2014 CT200h w Nav MSRP $37,689; 33 months; 17K miles; $600 due at signing; $469/month including taxes (~$442 without taxes). I haven't had a chance to compare that to what I was looking at for 15K miles. Does this sound competitive? Thanks!

If anyone needs a good sales rep and does not matter what state you reside in ( he could ship the car pretty much anywhere, he saved my buddy up in Phoenix $80 a month) Inbox me for his info, I purchased 2 Lexus of this gentleman, straight forward, did not catch him in any lies, extremely resourceful, give it a try you know, Best luck everyone keep us posted.

What you need to find out from the dealer:

Selling Price

Residual Value (then compare to what I provided)

Money Factor

It looks like you could do a little better, but I am curious as to what the residual value is given they are offering you 17K miles per year for 33 months.

MF was .0009 and residual equaled to ~59%. They were at $36,746 selling price and then came down to $36,323, plus the $1000 rebate. Payment at $455 tax in, $429 before tax.

@Michaell@Edmunds‌ what do you think about the current offer for a base CT? It's 299/mo for 27 months, 2k due at signing, 10k/year. The residual I have been told by a few dealers is 70%.

Is the $406 payment inclusive of taxes? When I plug in your numbers with the current MF (.0004) I get a pre-tax payment of about $300.

There seems to be a big gap to the dealer numbers .. press them for more information.

Also, is a trade involved? That can affect the numbers greatly.

That is the national offer at the moment. Not a bad deal, but make sure you are happy with the 'base' model and the mileage restriction.

The $406 includes Tax. The money factor is 0.00165. They said since I am a first car buyer or lease, the rate from the Lexus Financial is not so low.
The trade in is not involved here. What do you think about this deal?

When I plug in your numbers with the new MF, I get a payment of $406 with 9% sales tax (is that right for CA?)

Lexus does use a higher MF based on your credit score - from .0008 to .0055 for the CT200h on up to 27 month leases.

There is also $1000 of lease cash available on the CT200h - make sure this is reflected in your net cap cost. And, first month's payment should be waived, up to $700.

I am looking at a 2014 CT 200h with a MSRP of $37,689; am trading in a 2007 ES 350 with 51,000 miles in good mechanical condition with some body damage; and am being quoted a $339 per month on a 33 month lease. Is this an OK deal?

Not enough information - we need to know the selling price of the CT200h, and if there is any equity in the ES350 that is being used to reduce the cap cost. Any other cash down? How many miles per year?

I received a promotion quote for CT 200h with MSRP $33299, $249 per month pre tax for 27 months, 2499 due at signing, and residual value @ 71% (10k miles per year). Is it a good deal? Thanks in advance.

What is the selling price and how much of the $2499 is going to cap cost reduction?

He emailed back with this info. The selling price is 2k off invoice. Money factor is 0.0008. It's actually 24 months lease with 6 and 6 (not sure what 6 and 6 means). He was unwilling to provide more info on how muc of 2499 go to Cap Reduction. Do you have enough info from what's mentioned above? Thanks.

Sorry, no. What options does the car have? Can they provide a breakdown of how the $2499 is being applied - taxes, fees, etc.

Looks good to me .. my calculations with those numbers spits out a pre-tax payment of $289/mo.

Base MF is .00090, so the dealer is marking that up on you a bit.

Are you giving the dealer the $1973? How is that being applied? Taxes, fees, what?

if by any chance you recently graduated from college you could show proof and get another $1000.00 rebate. totaling to 3,000 in rebates.

Something to think about Lexus does Multiple security deposits (Look it up) so up to 9 security deposits gets you a .0008 reduction on the money factor, also rounding your monthly payment to the nearest increments of $25. Could be saving money and you get you money back at the end of the lease. Let us know what happens but inquire for the Base rate (just make sure credit is above 720) they could work something out.

Hello Michaell,

Here is what I have compiled from various posts. Please let me know if I have missed something.

MF = 0.00090. I can reduce it by 0.0008 by making 9xMD. The final MF will be 0.00010.

Residual is 71% for 27 month/10K miles.

There is $2K lease cash available and additional $1K for recent graduates. Total $3K rebate.

I am looking at about $34K MSRP (Base + couple of options). I should be able to negotiate about $2K off the MSRP. This (negotiated price - $3K rebate) should be used to calculate the pre-tax lease payments.

To keep things simple, separately calculate the initial payment to cover the first month + acquisition fees, 9xMD etc.
