My wife and I signed on a new Overland yesterday. We received the base money factor (without any negotiation), and they also didn't charge us an acquisition fee. They said both the base MF and waiving the acquisition fee were promotions that they currently had running on the Grand Cherokee. I don't know if that was just for this particular dealer location, or if that's nationwide.

I appreciate your help! This discussion definitely helped me prepare for what to expect when signing this lease.

have been reading the forums and different articles trying to best inform myself about leasing and the Grand Cherokee.  I was at the dealer yesterday and wanted to run a lease deal I got offered after negotiating.

.00012 and 61%. You can reverse engineer the residual but not the MF. No difference between V6 or V8 engine.

36/15 numbers - .00012 and 54%. Add 2% for 12K

With your MSRP and cap cost of $40K, I get a pre-tax payment of $422.40/mo for 36/15 and $396.71/mo for 36/12.

No, mine are pre-tax calculations .. multiply by 1.09 to get the final payment.

.00012 and 57%. Dealer can mark up the MF for more profit.

Using your MSRP and Net cap cost, I get a pre-tax payment of $289.21. I'm guessing your dealer isn't using Chrysler Finance and that a rebate is included in your cap cost.

MSRP: 34,990 Term is 48 mo/12k per mo lease.

I'm looking for the Tier A and Tier B interest rates from Ally. I'm trying to keep the dealer honest and I called Ally but they wouldn't give them to me directly.

We only have Chrysler Capital numbers, and they only support leases out to 42 months.

.00018 MF and 48% residual for 42mo, 12K/yr.

Chrysler Capital residuals will not likely match up with Ally residuals.
