IS theere a prices paid forum on here for the grand Cherokee 2015? I can't find it... I've seen ppl say they got the ltd for 24k but my guys are swearing 38k is invoice which I doubt.
.00058 and 50% for 39/12. With your MSRP and Adjusted Cap Cost, I get a pre-tax payment of $659.73.
What is the breakdown of the $2000 up front cash, if it doesn't include the first month's payment?
The low residual and (relatively) high MF, when compared to other trim levels, are hurting your payment
*** Sales and Use taxes were about $2,900 on the car; so I believe that the $2000 up front was to offset some of that. Total official fees came to $3,150.
Do you think that a monthly payment of $698 and the upfront cash of $2000 + first month's lease of $698 is a good deal or at least in the ball park of what I should pay for a new 2015 JGC Summit?

I don't track pricing all that closely, but since your quote and my calculations are pretty close the only way to get a lower payment is to negotiate a lower selling price.
I am getting numbers from some Haan or Hahn or Han bank. Does anyone know about it? I want 4o avoid the us bank situation. It sure why they aren't giving me Chrysler

Would love your opinion on the lease I just got yesterday. Picked it up. 36 mos, $480/mo. 10k per year, No money, down, all taxes and fees included. Just paid first month, Jeep GC with upgraded tech package, moon-roof, leather, electronic liftgate, etc. They also cut me a check for $2250 for the balance of my Jeep Wrangler lease. Good deal or did I get rooked?

I'd like to get some perspective from other buyers of the 2015 JGC Summit, Platinum Package that leased their vehicle. My previous posts are here over the past 2 days. What did you guys end up leasing for? I'd like to understand the range. I'm thinking of doing a 39 month lease at 12,000 miles per year. The numbers are coming up at $2000 out of pocket + 1st month's lease which is $698 per month. How does that compare with others out there leasing the Summit? Appreciate the feedback and suggestions! Hey, Just wanted to know what the "Sweet Spot" is for a JGC Lmt 4x4 for this month. I am getting a quote from a dealer as follows:
Cap Cost: 37269 RV: 52% MF is Unknown at this time 39 Month term 1000 Down + First Month Monthly Payments : $670* Pre-Tax
*I am trading in 2 leased vehicles with Negative Equity but they agreed to buyout both of them ( 20k Each) -- wanted to know how this affects the price.

What is the MSRP? How many miles per year? Sweet sport seems to be 36 months for March ...
How much negative equity are we talking about? Every $1000 you put into the cap cost will increase your payment by about $28/mo on a 36 month lease.
One last question ... do you know if this dealer is using Chrysler Financial as the bank? If not, we don't have any numbers for Ally or US Bank.

MSRP Approx 41K 12k Miles Per Year not sure which bank he is using but i just asked him.
In terms of the negative equity, i have 2 honda accords with 9k left on each in terms of payments left on the leases and they buyout for each is above 20k
Why is the MSRP and net cap needed? Overall, in your opinion is it a good deal? The other factors (MSRP/CAp Cost) are just for equation purposes, The bottom line is $480/mo with no other fees or downpayment/tax payments. Also, with $2250 coming to fulfill my current lease. The guy just above is getting a quote @ $670 + tax, so I think he just answered my question for me......

Right, but the payoff of your leases is probably the residual value plus the amount of the remaining payments. Call Honda to get a current payoff quote for both. Then, head over to the "Real World Trade in Values" discussion for a good valuation of the trades. Dealer could be low-balling you.

i just got $480/mo on the advanced tech package Jeep GC Limited. @ $698 + $2000, I'd say that is way too high for a Jeep. You are in BMW/Mercedes range. The Summit package is just overkill.

*** Thanks for the feedback, but unfortunately it is hard to compare a Limited to the Summit. The limited starts at around $13,000 less than the Summit and really has none of the features of the Summit. My Summit had a MSRP of $55,000. Actually the Summit lease is a little more than my previous lease which was for a Mercedes SUV. The Jeep has more bells and whistles than the Mercedes and drives a lot better than the Mercedes. I've purchased a lot of luxury cars in the past (purchased and leased and some of them were as much as $1100 payment a month -- when I purchased and didn't lease). Would be better to have someone who actually got a Summit to compare my lease amt than one of the other Jeeps. Thanks though.

I agree with the 57% residual, but the base MF is .00018. Jeep dealers can mark up the MF by .00042 - do the math.
What is the breakdown of the $4700 due at signing? If any of it is for cap cost reduction, we don't recommend that. If the car is stolen or totaled, you are out that money.

Looking to lease a Lexus RX350 or a Jeep Grand Cherokee by the end of this month. The dealer emailed me some numbers for the Jeep..
Limited 4x2 MSRP $41,825
Ally and Chrysler leases are different; Ally uses an APR with more rebates and different residual figures. Chrysler uses a money factor with little or no rebates and lower residual values.
Chrysler numbers are as follows: Rebates $0 MF .00017 Residual 55% for 12K miles Bank fee $595 Payment $439+tax
If I strip the Ally deal clean of $0 profit: Rebate $3000 APR 6.0% Residual 62% for 12K miles Bank fee $495 payment $449+tax
There is no maintenance program and no profit; the dealership is losing $1436.20 to make this deal. Let me know how you would like to proceed.

What do you guys think?
Between those two, I like the Chrysler Capital lease.. If for some unforeseen reason you needed out of the lease early, or wanted to buy the car, the lower residual would help. Plus, Chrysler Capital might be easier on end-of-lease charges, because they have a vested interest in keeping you as a customer..

Thanks!
Looks scary.. who is the leasing bank?
Which part is scary? I guess I don't know enough to be scared?? It's the credit union of texas. Maybe I have the MF wrong. They quoted a 3.69% interest rate.

Ah.. Texas. Well, you have to pay tax on the full selling price of the car, so that makes for a hefty lease payment..
I just don't like being tied into a lease for that long... but, if paying full tax, at least you can amortize the tax over more months.

I can't find a good deal on an Altitude in tri-state area (around NYC). I would like to knock it down to ~400 no money down (36mo/15K) w/everything in the payment. Assuming MF .00012 and 54%, with an MSRP of $40,840 I would have to knock down the Base Cost to ~$34,500. Sales tax for me is 7.38%.
You think I can have any luck? Anyone know any good dealerships around here that could throw me that type of deal?

You may want to expand your search radius to include Philadelphia, Washington DC and Boston - all it takes is for one dealer to agree to your terms.

In San Diego, CA. Looking at 36 month, 15k mile lease.
One offer from dealer is at purchase price of $42,454.00
Money factor: 0.00059
Residual: 53%
Residual value: $24,923.25
Customer cash down: $2,500
Monthly lease: $513.86 + tax
or,
Min. Drive-off fee: $1,000.98
Monthly lease: $554.38 + tax
Two questions - I told him I wouldn't put anything down and they are telling me there is a Minimum Drive off fee, is this accurate?
This purchase price seems high to me, what do you think of the deal?
Thank you!

Either way, the MF is marked up on you. 4x2 MF is .00017, 4x4 is .00012.
I've not been in the market for a full sized SUV, so I can't comment on the selling price.
What is the breakdown of the $2500 due at signing?
Usually, the first payment, acquisition fee ($595) and any dealer/tags/license fee are due at signing.

We do not recommend using trade equity or cash as a down payment. If the car is stolen or totaled you lose that money.

2015 Subaru Outback 3.6R / 2024 Kia Sportage Hybrid SX Prestige
Limited 4x2
MSRP $41,825
Ally and Chrysler leases are different; Ally uses an APR with more rebates and different residual figures.
Chrysler uses a money factor with little or no rebates and lower residual values.
Chrysler numbers are as follows:
Rebates $0
MF .00017
Residual 55% for 12K miles
Bank fee $595
Payment $439+tax
If I strip the Ally deal clean of $0 profit:
Rebate $3000
APR 6.0%
Residual 62% for 12K miles
Bank fee $495
payment $449+tax
There is no maintenance program and no profit; the dealership is losing $1436.20 to make this deal. Let me know how you would like to proceed.
What do you guys think?

Ah.. Texas. Well, you have to pay tax on the full selling price of the car, so that makes for a hefty lease payment..
I just don't like being tied into a lease for that long... but, if paying full tax, at least you can amortize the tax over more months.
I wonder why they don't use Chrysler Capital?
