Hi, I'm in SF Bay Area. Looking for best lease program for JGC 4x4 either limited or overland level package. Can you provide current rates for October and special incentives? Thanks.

36/15

There are probably other incentives, but we don't have the information.
Just offered the following deal in New York $501/month, 39 months/15K miles per year. Total out of pocket $3100
2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo with altitude package, MSRP 40,830 Agreed on selling price $36,850 (including 2500 in rebates/incentives) MF .00013 Residual: 47% Dealer is telling me jeep is 2% below invoice for selling price and that they are all in. Does the math work and how good is this deal?

Those numbers give me $460/mo.
Considering the $3100 upfront, $501 seems a little steep.
2015 Grand Cherokee Overland 36mo lease 12k miles per year MF: .063 Residual:49% MSRP:$44535 Sale price: $38,000
Monthy Payment with Texas tax: $596
Seems very high, can someone check this for me? The money factor is obviously wrong, I feel like nobody at dealers really knows anything about selling a lease.

Add two zeroes to the MF
I get $487/mo.+tax.. But, Texas taxes the full selling price on a lease. Adding $2400 in taxes gets me to $555/mo. Still $40/mo. off. Ask the dealer for the Net Cap Cost, and see how that differs from the selling price. The residuals are pretty low, which doesn't help the payment.
Looking at leasing a JGC Overland for 36m/15k a year in the Boston area. Can you provide the residual % and money factor? Probably a V8 if that matters. I see different numbers for the money factor and residuals above, not sure if that is due to geography or different lease companies (Ally vs Chrysler?). I just priced a loaded Jeep through USAA service and seeing almost 8k off MSRP (including a lease conquest rebate of 1k).

As always thanks for your help with the numbers.
.00017 MF and 47% residual.
Different numbers from different banks. We only have Chrysler Capital numbers.
Can someone check this lease I was offered out? In Houston Texas, 2015 Overland 4x2 V6
MSRP: $44,985 Sales Price: $35,901 36months, 12,000 miles a year Zero Down, just first payment due at signing Monthly Payment: $559.96/month
He didnt give me the MF, I assume he is using base .00063. I assume the RV is 49%
I ran the numbers and get a much lower payment.
Any help appreciated!
If the discount from MSRP is $9000, then it's likely they are using an independent bank, which qualifies you for a big rebate. If that's the case, then the numbers won't be the same as Chrysler Capital. You should ask them.
Was just offered this lease deal in the Chicagoland
36/12,000
Overland 4X4 MSRP $49,585 Sell Price $47,569 (4.07% off MSRP) Lease Cash $2,500 $1,883 Taxes rolled into payment
RV $24,296 49% MF .00017
646.84 per month
This seems high given only 4% off MSRP - thoughts
I get $589/mo without tax, so your quote seems pretty close.
Can't hurt to ask for more of a discount from sticker, but I also suspect inventory is getting thin, so dealers may feel that the best of the deals are in the rear-view mirror.
Michaell - does Chrysler Capital do 2 year leases? I now have a better offer than above, but would really prefer to commit to 24 months & 12,000 per year

Hi all, Can I get MF and residual for 2015 4x4 JGC Limited and Altitude for Denver, CO 12/36? Just for clarification, residuals are set by Chrysler, but the MF is based on credit or could be marked up at the dealer discretion? Is that correct or is it set based on FICO? Trading in my wrangler at a dealership I've worked with in the past so I don't anticipate any shenanigans, but want to be clear.

Thanks so much. Is the overland .00017? I noticed that from a prior post, but wasn't sure if it varied by state.
I have been shopping around for leases and found a JGC that my wife likes. It's a Demo Jeep though, current mileage is 6561. I haven't seen a disclosure so I'm not sure what it was used for.
2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland 4x4 MSRP: 47890 List Price: 47290 Lease Cash: 2000
He is giving me numbers for 36mo / 12k miles at 55% residual and 6.34% rate or 24mo / 12k miles at 63% and 6.9%.
He came back with out the door monthly payment for 36mo at 448 a month and with 24mo its 436 a month.
I have no idea how he is coming up with these monthly payment amounts. It seems really low to me, I always figured it would be around 490 - 520 for this Jeep. The interest rate seems really high for a lease and the residuals seem rather elevated.
Any help? My wife and I are likely going to take the 24mo lease just so it stays under the 36kmile bumper to bumper warranty, but I want to try and figure out where he is pulling these numbers from. This is also in NY state with 7% sales tax.

This looks like a non-Chrysler lease -- the high MF is offset by large rebates that bring down the cap cost. Unfortunately, we don't have those numbers to confirm.
Hi again, Got a couple of deals from autonation west Jeep in Golden, CO and am not feeling good about them at this point. 2015 limited 4x4 eco diesel MSRP: 50,400 with sale price of $45,800 on 36/12k. They added: 1399.87(sales tax) 27.20 for tax and registration 499 dealer handling balance: 46,012.89
They came back with: 1000 down =$553 $2000 down =$524
This was the second attempt as they brought something much higher, i asked what the MF was and they said something like .00094. I told them it should be .00052 so they came back with the above pricing. The other thing I don't get is the $2500 denver lease rebate. Shouldn't this be taken off the final balance due or net cap like it does on the jeep site? This seems to be the issue. The dealer says this is applied in the monthly payments.
They didn't and gave me some explanation that it was in the monthly payments--there is mention of it, but it makes no sense to me. When I calculate this exact vehicle on the jeep site I get $505(adding in sales tax) with no money down to lease. I told them I wanted to see their worksheet so they gave me the disclosure as I was leaving. I haven't had a chance to read through it all. Any help or thoughts would be appreciated.
Edit: I was able to get mine resolved. They'd added in 700 for theft protection and some other nonsense. I was able to get it down to 42,800 with my 1700 wrangler equity. The 2500 was deducted properly. MF of .00052 thanks to edmunds and this thread. Thanks!

That is a TERRIBLE list price. you should be get the selling price down 6-9% & then apply the $2,500 lease cash - Money factor from Chrysler is .00017 which is 0.4% APR

36/12 numbers on the 2015 JGC Limited Diesel are .00052 and 53%.
Tax on a lease in Colorado is applied to the monthly payment, not calculated up front.
The rebate should be applied up front, as you've noted.
Thanks for this very informative thread. Can you share the MF and residuals for a 2015 JGC Overland and Limited 4X4? 36 and 39 month lease, 15K, Northern Virginia?
I was recently quoted: JGC Limited MSRP: $42400 $2500 Mid-Atlantic Lease Cash
39 months, 15K/year; $500 out of pocket $595/month
Original deal fell through because dealership sold the car underneath me... So new deal but we can't agree on monthly price I'm calculating something much less. This is in Albany ny
msrp: 47985 final price 42647 Down payment: 3500 dealer fees: 323 tax 7% residual is 47% money factor .00017 39 month lease 12k miles

Is the entire $3500 going to cap cost reduction?
Without it, I get a payment of $563/mo with tax.
$3500 down would reduce your payment about $90/mo.

The way they had it listed was 3500 down was being split. It would pay the first payment, dmv / dealer fees. This came to around 850 I think. Then the balance was being used to reduce the cap cost. I'm really confused with all the numbers he is adding. There was also some depreciation of 450 dollars and some contract fee of 18 dollars.
Should I tell him to just put the 3500 dollars towards the cap cost reduction and then roll everything else into the lease?

I get $487/mo.+tax.. But, Texas taxes the full selling price on a lease. Adding $2400 in taxes gets me to $555/mo. Still $40/mo. off. Ask the dealer for the Net Cap Cost, and see how that differs from the selling price. The residuals are pretty low, which doesn't help the payment.

Thanks for this very informative thread. Can you share the MF and residuals for a 2015 JGC Overland and Limited 4X4? 36 and 39 month lease, 15K, Northern Virginia?
I was recently quoted:
JGC Limited
MSRP: $42400
$2500 Mid-Atlantic Lease Cash
39 months, 15K/year; $500 out of pocket
$595/month
Any word on new incentives coming after Nov. 2nd?
msrp: 47985
final price 42647
Down payment: 3500
dealer fees: 323
tax 7%
residual is 47%
money factor .00017
39 month lease 12k miles
payment is 506. Any help? Is this right?
Limited 4x4 - .00052 and 49%
Overland 4x4 - .00017 and 47%
Subtract 2% for 39 months

Without it, I get a payment of $563/mo with tax.
$3500 down would reduce your payment about $90/mo.

Should I tell him to just put the 3500 dollars towards the cap cost reduction and then roll everything else into the lease?
