Just did this deal (for a High altitude 6 cylinder) - 15k per year/ 39 months . By far the best offer I got. Dealer used Harbor One bank, which is part of the credit union leasing association ( i looked it up).

    MSRP: $50,085
    residual: $23,039 (46%)
    mf:  .00128 or @ 3%
    down payment: $1,000
document fee: $299 and registration : $135 both rolled into lease
payment: $502.70 including tax (6.25% in MA)
fee of 400 if you turn in car or 350 if you buy it at residual.

Dealer said said they took $8750 off MSRP which included $4500 in Chrysler rebates. The only money I put into the lease was $1000 down plus $502.70 for the first month payment.

The other quote I got was $664 from another dealer.

Looks like a solid deal - congrats!

I got this quote today on a 2015 GC Overland. MSRP $47,950 Selling price $41,888 including registration.
12k/36 month $2000 down $480 per month. This is in Oregon with no sales tax. Any good?

    What does the $2000 cover?

.00007 and 48% for 36/12. Using your prices, I get $529/mo, so your quote of $480 looks pretty good.

The $2000 covers registration ($373) first month and the rest down. What are you showing for MF and Residual in Oregon?

Do you think incentives might be better in December?

The numbers I gave you are nationwide.

The down payment reduces your payment about $45/mo, so the numbers are more in alignment.

Can't tell you what will happen to the numbers next month...

Assuming a Laredo E is a Laredo, then..

    .00002 MF and 49% residual.

Don't have the incentive information and yes, new program tomorrow.

Do you know of any incentives or rebates available and MF and residual  for a 2015 jeep grand cherokee 4x4 laredo E.  36/12k, 39/12k, 43/12k in western new york? What would a good payment look like? I would be putting 1k down.

Forgot to mention MSRP is 34990.  The total out the door price including 34196. That includes dmv fees and taxes.  The dealer said this also, the bc rebate is 1500 and the conquest rebate is 1000.  The tax included in the price is also over 2000.
I apologize,  I am new to this process. Please help.

Your "out the door" price for a purchase, might not be the same as for a lease. Is the tax number based on purchasing the vehicle or leasing it?

Hopefully this helps some people. I just secured a 4x4 Jeep Grand Cherokee Altitude this past weekend. Leasing was cheaper than financing, overall. Bear with me below:

At my credit union (assuming the rates don't drastically change in the next 3 years) a "new car loan" is considered any loan on a vehicle less than 3 years old. The current rates are 1.79% all the way to 72 months. So if I would have financed up front, my payment would have been approximately $606.21 per month with zero down. This is with a negotiated sale price of $500 below invoice, plus incentives ($2000). And assuming roughly 10% for drive off (taxes, initial registration, etc.). MSRP $41,625. Negotiated sale of $39,194.

Total out of pocket payment for the car in that scenario is $606.21 x 72 = $43,647.12

With the route that I took, same negotiated sale price. Same MSRP. The interest on the lease was essentially 0% at a MF of 0.00002. The residual is 49%, so a little more than half of the sticker price will be paid for through the lease.

Negotiated sale price less incentives ($3500 for the lease), plus fees (first month, sales tax, doc fee, registration, etc.) comes out to an adjusted cap cost of $36,922.46 with zero out of pocket. Monthly payment is $460.21 plus tax of 8.225% in Fresno CA, so $498.06 total payment including tax. I will have to make 35 monthly payments because the first was taken care of with the rebates. 35 x 498.06 = $17,432.10

Residual is $20,396.25. Assuming the rates don't change, and the same 10% for taxes and fees on that loan with zero down, plus the $350 purchase option fee, the new 3 year loan in 2018 will be for $22,785.88. That's a monthly payment of $650.53. For a total cost of 650.53 x 36 = $23,419.08

    $17,432.10 + $23,419.08 = $40,851.18 for the Lease for 3, finance for 3.

$43,647.12 - $40,851.18 = $2,795.94 better. So, unless there's something that I did WAYYYY wrong, I think this was the better move.

I am fairly new to this as well so bare with me... If the MSRP is 42,100 and the purchase price is 37,100 what should i expect the monthly payment to be?

Any chance you could provide the payment with zero down and with $3500 down?

Thanks a lot for your help

Do you have the MF and Residual for a Overland GC 4x4 with MSRP of $47,985? I am located in Metro Detroit area in Michigan. This is for a 24 month lease with 12k miles per year. And is MF factor through Chrysler Capital? Thanks.

    Standard MF and 54% residual.
Chrysler Capital doesn't appear to support 24 month leases on this model.

If you are getting a quote, it's likely through Ally, I would think. We don't have those numbers, but the MF would be expressed as an APR, and would be very high, but residuals would likely be higher, as well... and, maybe a big IDL lease bonus.

Going to look at the Limited and Altitude today (Pennsylvania), 36m, 15k and $0 down. What money factor and residual should I be looking for? Is this correct, Limited .00052 MF & 49% and the Altitude .00002 and 49%?

Also, does anyone know the tax to lease in Philadelphia? Is it 5%? ( 3% for PA and 2% for Philly)

    Thank you!

Any thoughts on this deal for an Overland w Tech Pkg that I have been offered in Northern Virginia? Based on what I've seen here the residual seems a bit low and the MF somewhat high, but I'm not sure.

    Lease:

    24 Month w/first payment 12K Miles $1,027.01
    24 Month w/ first payment 15K Miles $1,047.25
    36 Month w/ first payment 12K Miles $642.49
    36 Month w/ first payment 15K miles $670.35

Residual for 12K at 36 months is 48%
Residual for 15K at 36 months is 46%
    Money Factor is .00049

    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Buy:

    Suggested Retail - 49.585
    Factory Incentive - 1,000
    Vehicle Price - 43,670
    Destination Charge - 995
    Subtotal - 44,665
    License/Registration - 68.50
    Processing Fee - 599
    State Sales Tax - 1,933.47
    Unpaid Balance - 47,265.97

Residual is correct, but MF is marked up from the .00018 base.

Your quote doesn't include the actual NET CAP cost for a lease, but with those monthly numbers, it looks like it might involve some money upfront.

Hey Guys, new to the board have enjoyed reading through some posts and learning along the way.

Currently looking for a new lease on a 2015 Grand Cherokee Limited (MSRP @ 42k) in NJ. After doing some shopping and comparing I was offered $444 (including all taxes and fees) with $0 down for a 39 month lease term with 15k miles per year. I do not have any of the residual or money factor numbers that were used to get me to this price. I am looking to get that information this week. What do you guys think about this offer? Seems pretty damn good to me.

I guess it should be noted that I am exiting my current 2013 Jeep Laredo lease 2 months early at $365 per month. It seems like they are going to buyout the car and sell it on their used lot.

Wanted to share my experience with the group and get some feedback.

    Thanks!!

Without knowing the selling price, it's hard for us to fully evaluate your deal.

The 39/15 numbers we have from Chrysler Financial are .00022 and 44% (assuming AWD).

On the surface, $444/mo with tax on a $42K Jeep is a decent deal ... but, the devil is in the details.

I am in the same current situation with 3 payments left on a Grand Cherokee with X package. So anymore info you can provide will be helpful. Was it actually $0 down? Did you go over the mileage in your past vehicle? What was the final price of the new vehicle? Thanks

Still working on getting some of the final numbers. Using some of the info available here in the forum, I backed into a final out the door price tag of around $35k for a $42,400 MSRP Limited. I should have some confirmation this week to back this up.

The deal is for $0 down except first month, which I believe is the norm. As far as miles go, I am on track to be just over the allocated 49k after 39 months. Hence why I am exploring options a month or so early. Hope this helps.

    Thanks!!

    Got the numbers and figured I would share;

    MSRP $42,400

After rebates ($7000), trade in ($800) and my company discount, it brought the total cap cost down to $33,520.

Unclear of the MF used in this quote, it's not easily pinpointed within the worksheet.

Hope this is more clear, would appreciate some feedback.

    Thanks!
