Can someone please provide the current lease terms for a2015 JGC Limited - 4x4, V6 12k/36mos and 12k/39mos? Also, are there any special incentives and/or examples of recent purchases not leases? Or if you can direct me to that Q&A section. Thanks
Hey guys, I got a lease offer and i'm trying to figure out if it's a good deal or not. I think I know the basics of leasing but i have a couple questions if anyone has time to answer. I'm having a hard time trusting these guys ever since they started me off with an inflated MF.
It seems like other people are getting better deals, but maybe it's different by state? I am in California.
Here is the offer: 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited 4x4 36mo/12k miles MSRP: 42,100 - $4000 dealer discount - $1000 rebate Sales Price: 37,100 down payment: $3500 Residual 49% (as expected) Money Factor .00022 (as expected)

Total inital payment: 5999.99 (i think there is a 2500 lease incentive locally, but it wasn't mentioned to me) Due on deliv: 3499.99
any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks a lot

My guess is that some of the up front fees are coming out of the rebates, so the gross cap and cap reduction amounts are different.
Ask the dealer what the $1134.75 represents.
The up front taxes are on the rebate amounts.
We don't recommend making a down payment (cap reduction) on a lease - if the car is stolen or totaled, you lose that money.
Hi All - new to this forum but want to know if I have a good lease offer. I am part of the affiliate program and dealer says I have a screaming deal. I have shopped this at some dealers and everyone seems to be in range of the number quoted so I am wondering if there is still a deal to be made. I understand leasing, butthey have thrown around a ton of number. Offering me conquest, and all current offers, and will qualify for Tier 1 credit. Here it goes...
2015 JGC - High Altitude (will lease in Lake County, IL) MSRP: $50,880 Residual: 46% Down Payment $0 (except 1st month & fees) 36 Month Lease SP: $39,469 12 miles
$587 with sales tax on the lease.
what other info do you need? is there room on this?

.00007 and 48% for High Altitude 36/12. 46% is the 15K residual.
If the selling price is the cap cost, I get $422/mo + tax. (48% residual)

I would ask them for the net cap cost - if higher than the selling price, find out what's been added.
Hey everyone, just had a quick question and I also wanted to provide info on the deal I'm currently being offered.
I'm looking into getting a 4v4 Overland. MSRP is $47,590 and after dealer discount and rebate I'm being offered $41,290. This is 10k miles over 36 months. I'm in the Seattle area.
I know the tier 1 money factor is .00007, but does anyone have money factors for the higher tiers? Unfortuantely I don't see myself landing that tier 1 credit.

That is the MF for tiers 1 and 2. Tier 3 adds .00060. Tier 4 adds .00159
We don't have the Ally numbers to validate, but I'm sure the MF is fairly high to compensate for the large rebate you qualify for.
Could you negotiate a bigger discount from sticker? That's about the only place where you'll save money on the lease payment.
I'm a novice at calculating leases as I look for one myself. However, if your net price is only $33,223. Then my math looks like this. $42,400 * .54= $22,896 $33,223-$22,896=$10,327 $10,327/36= $286.86 only per month. + Taxes and Money Factor cant add on $200.? Can it? Am I right to use $33,223 as Net Cap? The 54% RV seems high. From one of my past posts I was told the same model would be .49/36 mos or .46/39 mos. Again, I am new to this so if my calculations are wrong please tell me.

If the money factor is that high (.0027), the finance charges would be at least $150/mo.... so, yeah, it could be.

Hi, sales tax is 7% but it's included in the 528. Do they typically load the net cost? I was in there tonight and the cap coat was at 41 which is higher than the 39 they quoted...I am going with a 15k lease

Often the net cap cost is higher than the agreed-upon selling price - fees and such are added in if you aren't paying them up front.
If you are going with a 15K lease, the 2% delta in the residual adds about $28/mo to the base payment. The $2K difference from the selling price to the cap cost adds another $55-60/mo ... so, added to the $422 I calculated earlier, that comes to $510/mo. Add 7% tax and the payment is $546/mo - still not the $587/mo quoted to you by the dealer.

I'm interested in a Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited 4x4 with the Luxury Group II package as well as the Advanced Tech Group package. Does anyone have the money factor and residual for 36/15 and 39/15? Thanks.

Here is the info for the particular car we looked at in New Jersey: - $40,830 msrp - $5750 rebate - 10K - 42 months - trade in value $2500 down payment - 7% tax Does anyone know how much the MF and RV would be for this? Or a monthly payment calculation for minimum lease cost possible?

Would need to know the net cap cost in order to model a payment.

You should be able to negotiate a price lower than sticker, before applying the discounts.

Hi, I'm new to this forum and have never leased before so please be gentle . I'm looking at a 2015 Limited with the diesel, luxury package and U connect® 8.4AN AM/FM/SXM/HD/BT/ NAV. The sticker is $48,310 and I'm eligible for supplier pricing, 1% below invoice, and was quoted $45,744 before rebates ($3k for leasing) . I've searched online for a better price but after you sort through the deceptive wow pricing I can't seem find a deal worth the hassle of buying non-local, does the price sound right or should I keep looking? Now on to leasing if the price is in the ballpark, I'm thinking of doing 36m/15k. does this make sense or am I better off going with less miles and chance paying for extra miles? I'm only putting about 10k a year on my 1998 Explorer but anticipate driving the GC a lot more than the old Explorer, what's the cost of excess miles? I had my wife called for me when I was at work and she was told the residual is 50% ($24155) and the MF is 4.9%?? Does this residual sound right? I'm not sure what they mean by 4.9% MF especially seeing the jeep website shows an APR of .24%. While I've been searching for a better priced GC I noticed on the Jeep website that there are over 34 thousand 2015 GC's on lots within 1k miles of me with 2015's still in transport to the dealers, do you think the rebates will get better after 1/4/16? Thanks!

Search back couple pages you will see most getting at least 5k off ..plus if you have lease now ad $1000 to that. these are not lease friendly cars the residual is terrible. Tells you these cars are not worth much after 3 years.

It seems like other people are getting better deals, but maybe it's different by state? I am in California.

any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks a lot
Ask the dealer what the $1134.75 represents.
The up front taxes are on the rebate amounts.
We don't recommend making a down payment (cap reduction) on a lease - if the car is stolen or totaled, you lose that money.

Thanks! Happy car hunting!

MSRP = 42,400
Discount = 2,677
Rebates = 6,500 (financed through Ally)
Net price = 33,223
Taxes = 508
Doc/Fees = 283
Monthly payment = 486.
Not sure of money factor and they said RV = 54%
Thoughts on this deal?
Could you negotiate a bigger discount from sticker? That's about the only place where you'll save money on the lease payment.

My guess is that the Ally MF will be much higher, to offset the large rebate.

The 54% RV seems high. From one of my past posts I was told the same model would be .49/36 mos or .46/39 mos.
Again, I am new to this so if my calculations are wrong please tell me.

MSRP: $50,880
Residual: 46%
Down Payment $0 (except 1st month & fees)
36 Month Lease
SP: $39,469

$587 with sales tax on the lease.
what other info do you need? is there room on this?
.00007 and 48% for High Altitude 36/12. 46% is the 15K residual.
If the selling price is the cap cost, I get $422/mo + tax. (48% residual)
What is the tax rate in Lake County?
I would ask them for the net cap cost - if higher than the selling price, find out what's been added.

Here is the info for the particular car we looked at in New Jersey:
- $40,830 msrp
- $5750 rebate
- 10K
- 42 months
- trade in value $2500 down payment
- 7% tax
Does anyone know how much the MF and RV would be for this? Or a monthly payment calculation for minimum lease cost possible?
Thank you!
Would need to know the net cap cost in order to model a payment.
