Someone please help explain something!
44,985 MSRP
40,267 Sale price
37,767 -2500 rebate
37,767 Cap cost
20,243.25 Residual (45%)
486.77 depreciation (cap - residual/36)
12.76 finance (cap + residual * .00022 MF)
= 499.53 + all tax fees etc
However, Chrysler calculates this as 531 a month, what gives? And this is with everything else as an inception charge no fees should be in the lease.
Find out what the net cap cost is. Probably higher than the selling price less incentive.

I'm waiting for a copy of the disclosure from the dealer, but the net cap should be the selling price minus rebate, all fees were stipulated to be paid at inception.
If you use jeeps online calculator with these numbers, including that net cap at this value, it also calculates it as 531, it makes no sense.

We don't have any way of knowing what assumptions their lease calculator makes, as far as adding in acquistion fees or marking up the money factor. Lease calculators on manufacturer websites are generally useless.

Well the MF is definitely .00022 it's displayed on a page not shown there. And the capitalized cost is right there and correct. The only thing that could effect it at that point is the actual residual amount which is not displayed but definitely 45%.
But I'm not crazy correct? The numbers I posted should be right assuming the net cap, residual, and money factor are as stated and all else is due at signing?

Using your numbers, my home built lease calculator also gives $499.53.
The only two variables in a lease calculation are the net cap cost and the MF. The residual is set by the bank and cannot be modified by the dealer, and the MSRP is determined by the manufacturer.
So, if we're in agreement that the MF is indeed .00022, the only variable left is the net cap cost.
It's our position that the on-line calculator is adding something to the cap cost that you don't know about - roughly $1150 worth ($32 delta * 36 months).
You're going to have to talk to the dealer to sort this out.

Yea I came to the same conclusion on that much being a ghost in there somewhere. I know the residual is set by leasing company, I just meant it wasn't displayed (online at lease) so there was no way to confirm.
Finalizing a deal on a '15 JGC Ltd with luxury II package. 45,010 msrp. 15k miles, 36 months, 2k out of pocket (1st month and fees). $499 per month. Seems like a good deal, but curious what others think. Supplier discount and conquest cash included.

If the charges within the $2000 due at signing add up, then it looks like a good deal, assuming you are happy with the selling price.
Why is a 2015 JGC Limited 4x4 have a higher MF (0x00023) compared to the High Altitude which is a higher edition? (previously stated MF was 0x00004). Just a promotion on High Altitude?

What is the net cap cost?
Not certain, but think it's approx. $38,231
If its 4X4, .00023 MF and 48% residual.
With that MSRP and CAP cost, $475/mo.+tax.

Dealer mentioned that going 39 months vs. 36 months might be a better decision. What's the different in MF and Residual? Why would one do the extra 3 months?
got this quote on a 2015 grand cherokee laredo 23e package. in ny. not sure what MF or RV they used.
how do these numbers look?
On the plus side, they are giving you the selling price. But, the rest of the numbers are for purchase. Do you get $3000 rebate on a lease? (maybe) Is the tax $2759 on a lease? (no).

Chrysler Capital residuals are 4% lower on this model for 39 months. Same money factor. If using Chrysler Capital, the 39 month lease payment would likely be higher.
@kyfdx, question for you (or frankly anyone else that might know).
Dealer just got back to me telling me these MF and residuals for the 2015 High Altitude 4x4 in Seattle, WA at 10k miles per year:
RV Term MF
49% 36m .00082
46% 39m .00082
45% 42m .00058
The MF are no where near what was reported earlier in the thread (36m at 0.00004). Sales guy said he's pulling directly off Chrysler website he has access to and not marking up.

NJ taxes the sum of payments, not the selling price (just like NY). So, the number isn't going to be anywhere near $2700.
Which is why I mentioned... that your attachment isn't really a lease quote, because it doesn't contain the variables that are germane to the lease payment. No mention of money factor, residual, acquisition fee, and the tax number isn't relevant to a lease, either.

Compared to my previous BMW( which had higher MF + cap cost but admittedly a higher residual), the payment is close to the same.
Also ran this through the edmunds lease calculator and the payment should be sub-$500. This seems like the difference in the way the rebate is handled, where it should be reducing the cap cost.
I'm admittedly not a pro on leases, just know enough to tread water so would appreciate the experts insight here.

I get the same payment, with those numbers. The low residual is what hurts your deal here.

The dealer is only discounting the car by $2k. You should be able to get much more of a discount unless inventory of the 2015s are low in your area. I've seen $5k discounts from a handful of dealers here in CA (not including the lease cash).
After having that last dealer fall through (they sold the car I was looking at), I found another dealer a couple hours away with one. Good news I got an even better deal.
Cap cost was $43k after the $2500 lease cash and $1000 lease conquest. The monthly payment before taxes is $495. Even better news is $0 doc fee.

was just offered this deal on a 2015 gc laredo altitude by a NY dealer to be registered in NJ
39 months
12k miles/year
$2k cash down
$435 per month final payment (including tax)
does that sound about right with the MF and RV that you guys have? thanks!
only taking 1k off the sticker price...40k selling for 39k saying hes selling it for $200 over his invoice price
I think there is more of a discount available .. there is $2500 lease cash on the JGC this month, alone.
Might be time to move on to another dealer....
What are all the available rebates on a JGC right now ? I know there are a lot other like military and returning leasee but the easy ones to qualify for are
2500 lease cash 1000 conquest
arent there more for GJC Altitudes? I remember seeing $5750 factory rebates that were called NE Business Center and IDL Bonus cash
Is it reasonable to expect a reduction of 10% off MSRP for a 2015 Overland in NJ at this point? This would be BEFORE applying lease cash and conquest cash. I'm heading to a dealer this evening and I want to try and properly set my expectations. If anyone has an opinion I would appreciate the feedback.

arent there more for GJC Altitudes? I remember seeing $5750 factory rebates that were called NE Business Center and IDL Bonus cash
Use the "Car Research" tab to link to current incentives. The IDL cash is applicable to 3rd party leases (not Chrysler Capital).

2015 Subaru Outback 3.6R / 2024 Kia Sportage Hybrid SX Prestige
Looking at 2015 JGC Limited with Lux II package
MSRP of $45010
Lease price of 42840
20K miles/year
36 month
Ally is charging interest of 5.4% and offering lease cash of $6750.
Can't seem to get to his price of $525/mo.
Numbers don't seem all that attractive to me since they are only offering $2500 off. I would have expected more especially since I have a GM lease.
Thoughts?
