Those joint deal attempts never seem to work out so don't get your hopes up.
@edoxyt, an alternative to using a "fake" number is to get a free number from Google Voice. Then you can collect voice mails and decide whether to respond or not.
I was offered 33950 out of the door for 2015 EX-L w/o navi and res with trunk tray, mud guard, all weather mats and door visors. Thought it was not a good deal as one of my friend bought 2014 EX-L with RES 4 months before with same accessories for 34K out the door. I live in NC
Would you mind sharing which dealer this was in NC?
I am also looking for Honda Odyssey EXL 2015 in New Jersey.
Although in April 2014, i got an offer of 33500 from one of the dealer for the model which was on display @ dealer's showroom. Only problem was color, i was looking for Cherry Red and it was diamond white plus it was having some issue in the middle seats. for compensating he was willing to give me 1800 woth of accessories which was on the car at that time. i still regret i shud have taken it..( afterward car buying just got postponed as i need to travel to india )
Anyway moral of the story is Odyssey you can get in ~34000 if you negotiate properly..
I'm in the market for a new 2015 Odyssey EX before Dec-31. Got quoted $29,880 (inclusive of destination charge and dealer accessories like UV tinting, splash guards, door edge guards etc.) + $300 (doc fees) + taxes (6.25% in Texas). Would love to hear feedback, and how much lower should I try? Thanks in advance.
Picked up a 2015 EX-L with vehicle purchase price of $32.4k. Total OTD with Illinois TTL was $35.5k. We sat around for a long time debating the Odyssey vs. Sienna and the salesman kept offering us add-ons. We ended up with the all-weather mats, trunk liner, and wheel locks thrown in.
In Southwest Florida for EX-L with RES(DVD): $33995 plus $598.50 dealer fee. Destination is included in that figure. Add just tax and registration. Plus throwing in protection package for free (trunk tray, splash guards and wheel locks)
This is the deal I was offered so far. Now I just have to see how much they give me for my trade -in, and finally work out a financing deal or I could just go with penfed.

In the market (DFW metroplex) for Odyssey EX. Got quoted $29,950 (inclusive of destination fees and dealer accessories like UV tinting, splash guard etc.). + $300 (documentation) + 6.25% Texas state tax = $32140 OTD Welcome feedback if this is a good deal? How much lower should I try for? My target is under 30K OTD. Thanks in advance for your time!
I'm in the market for 2015 Odyssey EX model in VA state . Can any one suggest me what is the best price with OTD ( Include TTL) . I got the offer for $31,000. VA tax is 4.1%. Please guide me is it best deal or do i need to wait for couple of days to get good deal.

Is 31K OTD?
If yes, great deal.
If no, pls tell the base price, and estimate of TTL. I'm in the market too for an EX and my target base price is 29K.
I've had a couple of dealers I've asked about pricing contact me to let me know I can make a year end offer to them. They sound very motivated, but it may just be a ploy. I am looking to buy or lease an Odyssey EX-L. Any suggestions on how low they might go or if it is better to wait?
pingbao....saw your post about EX-L w RES. FYI 2015 EX-L w Nav which costs more and we got several quotes for <33k +TTL for So Cal LA area. You can use this info to negotiate for some extra accessories. I would ask for accessories that needs Honda warranty. For example, tow package just to get transmission cooler w Honda warranty( listed ~$936) and offer pay $200-300 for it. Dealer wants you pay more for accessories than just knock off the price of a stripped vehicle. Any other simple accessories you can just buy out right (like mud guards, roof rack, trunk tray ect.) and not include in the car loan which you have to pay interest. Good luck
question for the experts on this forum - I am looking for a Honda Odyssey 2015 EXL. I really need it in March but I heard that you get good deals in year-end. Is it true that I can get a better deal on 2015 Odyssey EXL right now before 12/31? or I can get a similar better deal in March also? Please advise as I will only buy right now if I can save around 1000-1500 then what I will pay in March.
The best deals are on remaining 2014s. There can be deals on 2015 models if the dealer is hungry to make their year end numbers - meeting the quota means bonuses for the dealer.
But the best time to buy a car is when you need one.
I follow the CR-V discussion a bit closer than the other Honda ones, but it sure seems like 2014 CR-V buyers were able to wheel and deal all year long. It's too hard to predict three months out, but lots of Honda dealers have been aggressive with pricing (better back East, less so in Chicagoland and the Pacific NW, but that's a pretty broad brush I'm painting. YMMV).
I'm in NC and bought my first Odyssey- 2015 ex-l w/nav plus 8 yr/120k mile warranty and simoniz. OTD was $37.4. Was this a decent deal? I feel like I went too quickly (3 hours total time from walking in the door to driving off). Thanks
Negotiated price was $36.4k (extended warranty is thru Honda- originally wanted over $2000, negotiated to $1150. Simoniz was $699 but negotiated that into overall price). TTL and admin fee was $986
Got a quote for a 2015 EX-L with RES for $37,350 OTD. This brings the price of the vehicle around $34,270 + TTL. I'm trying to get to $36,500 OTD - any experience here?
Just purchased a 2015 EX-L (no RES and no NAV) from Autopark Honda in Cary, NC. Base - $31,900 Dealer Add-ons - $350 (wheel locks, mudflaps, trunk tray, etc); declined their extended warranty and Simoniz package Dealer fees - $598 Title and License - $74 OTD - $33907
I appreciate the information everyone on this forum shared; it was critical to our negotiations. In the end, we had 3 dealers willing to meet this price. Convenient location (to us) and lifetime oil changes on the vehicle (with no exclusions or scheduled maintenance requirements) were the deciding factors for which dealership got our business. Overall experience with this dealership was very good.
We had a car to trade but after striking the deal on the Odyssey, they weren't willing to meet the price we were quoted at Carmax (they were off by $1000), so we sold the trade in there instead.
I received a few Honda Odyssey EX quotes via email in Oklahoma City. The price is $1K lower than in Texas. $28,500 from Battison Honda $28,450 from Bob Howard Honda
I'm wondering if I should wait 'til it drops to $28,000.
Getting a little frustrated in north Florida. Seems if you're in the market for anything other than a EX-L it's really slim pickings. I'm trying to find a deal on a EX, checking inventory on 10 different dealers in a 150 mile radius or so netted only about 4 EX's. Very few if any LX's as well. Is this normal?
Got a quote for 2015 Odyssey EXL without nav and res for $31385 in Chicago area. Do you think the quote is reasonable? Does anyone have a better quote? Thanks

I was searching for a deal on 2015 Odyssey EXL - contacted atleast 6-7 dealers. The best quote so far is 31870 from AutoNation near Chicago area. This is an internet quote. The 31385 that you have, seems very good.
We just bought a 2015 Honda Odyssey EXL (no entertainment system nor navigation) for $31,177 on 1/30/2015. Once all tax, title, and fees were added in, the OTD price was $32,943. That includes a lifetime power train warranty - unlimited miles and years for the engine and transmission - as well as the manufacturer's 3-year/36,000 mile bumper-to-bumper warranty. (We did NOT pay extra for any of the warranties.) They also sold us the all weather mats, cargo tray and tri-fold mat, and 2nd & 3rd row seat covers at-cost to them. We're in Central Virginia.

Congratulations on the new van!
I'm seeing more and more posts about the "lifetime" powertrain warranty, and it got me to thinking.
In order for the warranty to be valid, do you have to have your van serviced at the dealer, using their recommended services? Or can you take it to your local oil change shop?
I am shopping for an Honda Odyssey EX-L (without Entertainment system or navigation) in central Texas and I have received written quote for $30,964+TT&L from one dealer and another dealer's competing quote for $30,750+TT&L. This is for EX-L without entertainment or navigation. I am looking to close the transaction in this week. Is this a good price to close the deal?

So we just bought [2/11/2015] a 2015 Odyssey EX-L with no accessories / no NAV / no RES for 30,370 incl destination. OTD was 32,024 with Virginia tax (4.05%).
This was about $1k better than other dealers in the area (Washington DC suburbs) - had two or three other dealers come down to approximately 31,200 +TTL +doc fee (or about 33,250-33,500 OTD).
Dealer is Pohanka Honda in Capitol Heights, MD and the helpful salesperson is Karlton - he told me to tell people to come on down. Car is new with 3 miles on the odometer and got the promo Honda financing rate too (0.9% or 1.9% depending on loan term length).

If you are also in the market and interested in joint negotiation with the dealer for 2 minivans, let me know.
Thanks in advance!

How much was the extended warranty and is it an "official" Honda one or a third party one?
Whatever you paid for the wax treatment, I personally don't think it's worth it.
Enjoy the new ride - my brother is on his second Odyssey.
