We purchased two EX V6's from Honda World Downey (L.A. area) this past weekend. $23075 before tax & lic, 1.9% financing. It was about the best I could find after negotiating with 5 dealers in the area via email, and seems competitive with what others on this forum paid.

Sister and mom both wanted the white color, so now we have two identical cars. Never sure which car belongs to who now.

Over memorial day weekend, I got my O.T.D cash deal for 22,388 + 650 for 6yrs/75K extended warranty at HondaAutowest.
The price was 20,495 + tax, lic, fee ...

I received an email from a Honda dealer in SE Iowa the Saturday prior to Memorial day. They wouldn't tell what their pricing was going to be until that day. So I called & their promotion was 2k under MSPR for anything in stock. I think this was for that day only. (At least that was the impression I got). How does that compare with what everyone else has ran across here in the Midwest? I'm asking b/c I'm thinking our 329k Accord needs a mentor. I like both EX's but I'd really like to keep my cost as low as possible.

Thanks for any experiences/thoughts you may have.

Just got it from Honda World Westminster, Blue 4dr EX V6 NAV and wheel lock for 25550. The Valencia Honda Internet Manager Tony did not do the job to check the stock or just baited us to their lot (we drove 60 miles one way) and told us they no longer had the color (green). We did called before leaving our house. Avoid Valencia Honda!!! Saw in the parking lot Blue with grey leather is better than Green with beige leather so we bought the Blue. NAV is a plus. Voice command nice..

The best quote I've got so far is Pasadena Honda for $17,600 which includes dest fee.

I'm still aiming at $17,300, no luck so far.

I bought from Wilde in Waukesha, but try Frank Gentile in Racine as well - they had the same price. Good luck!

Hi..I'm from Philly, but it might be worth the drive to MD to get the same deal you did for your EX. What is the name of dealership and where in MD did you get your car?

The best quote I have so far for a base Accord LX 2.4l Auto is $17868 (including freight) + tax (5%) + tags ($153). No other fees etc. Please let me know if you have a better quote in Baltimore/DC area. Thanks.

I was quoted $21,010.00 for the EX Accord Coupe automatic and an additional $2,000.00 for the body kit and spoiler together. Does this seem reasonable? The dealer went down $200.00 on the body kit and said it was as low as he could go. I am looking to purchase this car very soon , so any advise would be appreciated! Thanks!

Had to second the earlier post on problems with valencia honda. The price actually went up as we sat there. We've dealt with their old internet mgr Greg in the past and there was no bs - but the guys in there now will just waste your time.

I was quoted $25,965.00 for the V-6 EX with the spoiler and aero kit included. I am going to purchase the car this weekend. Is this a good deal? I was quoted $26,000 for the same car from another dealer with 2,000 miles on it.
  • mikek37mikek37 Member Posts: 411
Its the coupe Im guessing. Go check out H and A Accessories, see how much they charge for the kit and spoiler, factor in the labor and thats the price for the extra bolt ons. The price you should pay , in the ball park for a reg ex V6 should be around 24,000. See what you get. Sounds like a good deal for me, but then again, u could probably get the EX V6 with Navi for the same price. Good luck

Best quote I have so far, but I guess still not THE best. Some ppl have bought LX Auto for $18,300 OTR in this DC metro area.
  • mikek37mikek37 Member Posts: 411
IF you like the dealer, and feel comfortable about buying from them .. well go for it. Is the frustration of looking for a better deal worth the 300 or so dollars, in my opinion it really isnt. When it comes down to it, if your total car purchase ( with taxes and all the fees) is a tad less then MSRP then you got yourself a good deal. All dealers practically sell the car for the same price, give or take a few hundred bucks.

I just got a Gold Accord EXV6 Sedan without Navigation, with the decklid spoiler, auto-dimming mirror, destination charge, and dealer admin fee for $24,925.

Mine was $6,700 plus tax, title and registration with my trade in of a 2000 Accord SE sedan. Sales tax in Tennessee for autos works out to be 7% plus $80, a processing fee of $298, title and registration added up to $7,628 OTD.

According to Edmunds used car trade-in value my car was worth about $10,400 plus the $7,628 would make a total of $18,028 OTD cost. My actual deal was based upon $18,000 for the car and a trade-in value of $11,300. Same OTD cost of $7,628 for me.

Was this a good deal? It was for me because I got what I wanted without any hassle after they located the car. Not a lot of negotiation BS - I went straight from the salesman to the business manager and wrote a check and was on my way.

I had my heart set on the 6 speed but after test driving the 5 speed I was shocked at how much fun it was and I took the 7K difference and spent 2K on a killer sound system, 1K on some new wheels and tires, 1K on some diamond earrings for the little wife and have 3K left for one hellacious trip to Vegas in August.

bought yesterday, $18,000 OTR (about 17k before taxes and tags) in MD with appearance package (mudguards, wheel locks and stripes). dealer was willing to take off $150 more if I didnt want mudguards and wheel locks. very pleasant experience. i tried to get an EX for $20,200 but dealer wouldn't go below $20,500.
  • rave50214rave50214 Member Posts: 6
I can wholeheartedly recommend Wilde Honda in Wisc. for some great pricing. But be sure you go through the Internet contact. You probably won't be able to find anyone able to beat their pricing. And they're great to deal with. No pressure & easy to talk with.

A local dealership in Des Moines gave us the following for pricing: 21127 before TTL. I added about 1102 in options. My total will end up being less that MSRP including TTL & options.

    Hi All,

Just put deposit down on a Silver Coupe 6MT. Paid 25,360 (1,000 under MSRP) w/ 3.5% financing for 60 mo. Is this a good deal? Barely had to haggle the price so am beginning to regret not trying to go lower. And dealership provides lifetime oil changes and increases warranty to 4 year/48,000 miles.

I want to buy the same car (Accord LX, auto)in Atlanta, GA for the same price $18000(eveything included). I checked all local dealers here, but all them asked me to show them something for the price.

I want to know whether you have some paper without your personal information to show the price of $18000? If yes, can you do me a favor to fax or e-mail to me? my e-mail is:xysfs@yahoo.com. If you can, I would like to pay you $30 referal fee by Paypal.

    Thanks for your help.

Today I bought my Accord EXL V6 - loaded with everything except Navigation, including appearance package (pinstripe, wheel locks, mudguards)for $22,900 plus tax, tag and dealer fee for a total of $24,983 at Sherwood Honda in Delray Beach. I feel I got a great deal and it was the most pleasant car-buying experience of my life.

Bought a 03 Honda exv6 in desert mist without nav in Louisville, Ky for 23800. I am in the military so I am sales tax exempt. The car has the appearance package, cost 23300 with 400 dealer fee.
  • mikek37mikek37 Member Posts: 411
Those newspaper advertisements are such hog wash. There is so much finbe print, in regards to APr, dealre prep, this and that, its practically impossible to receive a deal like they state.

I see prices for a 2003 EX V6 with navi for 23,200 in our local paper. Um lets just say there is now way anyone will ever get that price.
  • mikek37mikek37 Member Posts: 411
    Hillside Honda.

If you are refering to the one located in QUeens, I have heard some weird things in regards to their so-called sales practices. THen again its just word of mouth, but you never know.
  • dogbarking2000dogbarking2000 Member Posts: 4
Thanks for your information. It really helps. But does Accordbuyer's price include tax? If $18000 is tax included, it's still a good deal.

But the price($17744) from the ad you post is the best one I've ever seen. Thanks!

I am still waiting for Accordbuyer's reply.
  • suerivassuerivas Member Posts: 2
That price was without a trade. We kept our old 95 Camry to give to our high school senior son.
