what was the quote on the car?
WARNING: do not buy GAP insurance from dealer its way overpriced!
or you could just email them all and tell them you want to pay 24 and change like jackur. they will come back closer to his number than yours.
the dealers seem to be telling you the truth. there are no 09 exls within 50 miles of sd according to cars.com. where as around me there are like 50
today got 1quote back at 22,500 before TTL, and then purchased from
another dealer @ 22,400 plus TTL inc locks, mats & mud flap. I'm in the
Sacramento area.
Can you email me me with the dealer info and contact for your purchase and the quote? Thanks. address is aschmiedt@hotmail.com
LX:

LX-P:

Appreciate your quick response, as my old car is totalled in an accident recently, so I need to take decision soon.
are these scam add ons? worth it? thanks in advance!
Honda. Could have bought from Carmichael Honda for 22,495. Just emailed a
number of dealers.
I’m in Northern Virginia area looking for 2010 EX-L coupe I4 with navigation. The lowest quote I received is $27037 (including dest) + TTL. Invoice is around $26,800 (including dest). What do you guys think of this deal?
Has anyone received a better offer?
"The 2010 Honda Accord Lx sdn leases for $179. + tax per month. This is with $3000. due at signing. This lease is for 30 months with 12000 miles per year. Please call me to schedule your test drive."
So...I need to decide whether I buy my 07 at $16.2k (just under the 36k miles) or just buy a new I4 as leasing is not in the cards this time. The V6 power and especially the suspension is nice but not worth the extra $$$ spent on gas. I think if I were to figure it over the long run, say 10 years, they would even out in price. If anyone has any comments or suggestions I would love to hear them! I also would love to hear recent prices in the MA/RI area for EX-L I4s.
there's some system they added to the v6 that shuts down the cylinders if you don't need them or something.
Can anyone recommend hor I should go about the negotiation for a Accord purchase plus return of my lease? I assume I should negotiate price first and then tell them I have one to return.
Thanks for sharing the info. I am in the bay are too. I would like to know if the $24,500 include TTL as well. ALso which dealer offered you the deal?
Thanks
Dealer cost is $26972 after hold back..Invoice is $27,558 (hold back is around $600) Why would a dealer sell a car at a loss??
You would have to be really lucky and the dealer would HAVE to NEED to move a single car to get a price below true dealer cost. The chances of walking into that situation is small. Dealerships (or any company) won't ROUTINELY sell at a loss
A fair price for any car without any incentives is 3% over invoice if you use the sales force and invoice if you use only the Internet dept.
A good price on a 2010 Honda Accord EX-L v6 Auto should be around $28,400 Before TTL (but INCLUDING DEALER ADDON FEES) A really Great price would be less than $28,000 plus TTL
If people are claiming to have purchased the car for less than $27,000 plus only Tax and DMV the dealer is selling at a loss and that cannot be considered a normal target price for anyone. .
I offered my dealer 3% over invoice (inclusive of all "dealer fees") plus tax and DMV for mine as I used a sales person time and made a few visits taking up a lot of his time before I made an offer of 3% over dealer invoice at 1.9% for 36 months. Easy deal. Everyone was happy.
Invoice was $27,260. . Included were splash guards, wind deflector, wheel locks, and dealer installed window tint. I bought my car where I will have it serviced which is a plus especially being in a one horse town and the next nearest Honda dealership is 100 miles away where there are only two........
no other dealer would touch that price, and i found out why- they totally tried to screw me on my trade in! i figure they thought they'd make it up.
after a few hours negotiating trade in, (and a few minutes after close) i just asked if i could buy the car at $28K w.o a trade in. then i sold my old car to a private party.
overall, i'm happy with the deal i got! for straight price in northern NJ, i'd definitely recommend paramus honda internet sales department. NOT for trade in's tho! for trade in's i'd recommend D&C honda in tenafly.
whats the deal with the honda cares warranty? i hadnt researched it at all so i passed, was this smart? think it cost 2200 to extend bumper to bumper out to 8 years.
The lowest quote I have received so far for a 2010 Honda Accord Coupe, V6 EX-L with Nav, Manual Trans is $29,356. Do you think this is reasonable price for the car? In order to get the transmission and color combo I want (manuals are pretty tough to find), I would have to "order" this car... so I would have to wait 60-90 days for it to arrive (I am definitely willing to wait for it). I am in the San Francisco Bay Area. This is my first new car purchase so any advice and/or suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks so much!!
I am not sure if what they are offering is a good deal or not?
36 Mo Lease - 15k miles
$0 out of Pocket (just first months lease)
$1,500 back to me to close out existing lease
$499.00/mo payments on the Accord
Have not pressed for exact car price, money factor and residual amount... Was curious though if anyone thought this was a decent deal?
