    A friend of mine worked for GM. They sent him through the quality control training program and told him to stop the line whenever he found something wrong on the vehicle. The criteria he was to use was "Think of yourself as the purchaser of this vehicle using your hard earned money. If you wouldn't be happy with the quality of the vehicle have it fixed. Quality is job one."

    HE LASTED TWO DAYS IN THAT CAPACITY.

    He said that almost every car had something wrong.
    He drives a Mercedes.
