Anyone know if Camry SE 2007 comes in white color or not? One of the dealer told me that it doesn't, is it true?

Dealer gave me outdoor price for Camry SE 2007 in gray = $24,775. Good deal?

Just bought a black, 2006 4 cyl. Toyota Camry (STD), automatic, with floor mats from Toyota South in Morrow, Georgia, last night. After a little posturing, rebates/incentives and the greatest junk fee of them all(Doc. Fee), I drove out of at a total price of 17,770.00. with my 3.9% rate from my credit union, I am looking at $325.00 for 60 months. No one else quoted me a price near this in the metro Atlanta Area.
  • jerry44jerry44 Member Posts: 2
Thank you very much for the information. I may go to see a STD one.

  • sailingsailing Member Posts: 2
got a couple of quotes from dealers. The best one so far is 18330 with all incentives before T/T/L. How is this price? Can I get it cheaper?
  • zy1zy1 Member Posts: 31
I guess you can get it cheaper.

I got quote for LE AT with side airbag is about a little bit below $18000+TTL.
One guy reported on other forum he got $18,141(out of door price, include TTL) for LE AT with side airbag and floor mat(MSRP $21,791).
I wish i could get a deal like that.

    Good luck.
  • sailingsailing Member Posts: 2
Wow. as far as I know, the side airbag cost about 500 dollars. Where did you get your quote? and Do you have any idea where that guy got that amazing price. Thanks
  • zy1zy1 Member Posts: 31
I got my quote in Denver area.
It seems that guy got his in Baltimore area.
If you go to fitzmall.com, you can get $17,331 for LE AT without side airbag and $18,004 for LE AT with side airbag.
  • fsowirlesfsowirles Member Posts: 195
It is available in white. I assume the price is based on a stipped (relatively speaking) SE. I jsut bought my 07 SE V6 w/everything (nav, remote start, xm, VSC, and more...) for $600 over invoice.

Looking for an '06 Camry LE salsa red. Wanted to add spoiler & alloy wheels. Contacted 6 different dealers (including Fitzmall) one of which said she checked the entire NY metro region (4 states) and came up with only 2 available in red and that a spoiler & alloys would add to the cost (duh!). Actually, the dealership closest to me (Newburgh)called back, had a red one as well as my next 2 choices, quoted me $19,024. I pounced on it like a pit bull on a pork chop. But what really blows my mind is the gall of some dealers, treating people like idiots, as though NO one ever checks internet prices and staring you in the eye and telling you that the numbers you quote are impossible and that all of your info is skewed. And don't get me started on deceptive ads! Yesterday's ad next to a picture & description of an le '06:" 43 Camry's in stock!" "Get at LEAST $3500 off MSP!" GREAT, only when I called they had only 2 left , not my colors, and "$20,101 without the options, OTD". Hey, man, what about the other 42? "Oh, that ad is old, and includes '07's and Solaras in BOTH our locations. Told him ( "THE internet mgr.")what I thought him and his owners and their way of doing business. So, did I do good?

Been negotiating for an '06 Camry LE with Sunroof and mats. Dealers say that the invoice prices on the internet are wrong ! They insist they are quoting $200 or so below invoice (less rebate).. anyway, the best I've been able to do is $19,100 after rebate, plus TTL. From what I can tell by reading back several months is that $18,500 + TTL should be do-able. How is this price ? Thanks!

I've just bought a 2007 LE with 2 options: JBL audio ($1000 MSRP;$752 Inv.) and sunroof ($950;$750) for $2,1795 + tax (.0825) and fees. Out the door cost is $24,888 with a free foor mat. set. Please comment on how good this deal was. I figured it about $1,000 or $1,365 over invoice depending on if you count the $365 ads fee.

Could be better, could be worse.

    Too late now, either way.

Butler Toyota agreed to sell a 2007 Camry LE with sunroof and mats for $20000 (msrp 22262). The only problem was that they would have to locate the car in Aloe Green which was the only color I was interested in. When I drove there for the second time to finalize the deal and give them a deposit I was given the option of taking a grey one that they had in stock or the price was going up $300. Salesman blamed it on a communication problem between him and the manager. I dont see how that could have happened since the salesman had no vin number when he took my offer to the manager and it was subsequently accepted. It may still be a good deal but I can't see rewarding that manager for being dishonest.

    Hi
My wife and I just purchased a 2006 Camry LE at the NYC Toyota dealer on 47th street. With the release of the 2007 Camry's the dealers are obviously trying to clear out their old (if 2006 can be considered old) stock. We utilized the Consumer reports New Car faxed report and also pulled ads from the paper that the dealer said they would beat. The combo of this, the end of quarter, the $1,500 incentive and my wife getting a colleg discount as she completed her teaching Master's degree, got us the LE, with curtain airbags, upgraded stereo and mats (auto transmission) for $16.8K ($18.3K tax included).
  • zy1zy1 Member Posts: 31
    Hi, zwei10,

    So you got $1,500+$400 rebate?

    How much is the MSRP?

    Thanks.
  • zwei10zwei10 Member Posts: 5
    Hi Zy1
The MSRP for the basic Automatic LE is $20,375 + $580 + about $900 for the extras (side/curtain airbags, subwoofer for the stereo, floor mats, and an embellishment on the tail pipe). All of these were already on the model. I had negotiated the price, excluding the extras to $16.8K, and after I was told the only model available would have to increase by $700 (for the airbags) I told the sales person I wanted all in for $16.8K or I was walking (I guess a combination of the end of quarter and the fact they are trying to get the 2007s in stock all helped). Are you purchasing in NY?
  • zwei10zwei10 Member Posts: 5
and yes, we received both rebates (my understanding is that both are going away at the end of March) - best of luck!
  • zy1zy1 Member Posts: 31
No, I am in Denver. I only found $1,000 cash rebate and $400 college rebate in edmunds.com. Can't find the $1,500 rebate. How did you get it? Maybe there are some hiden incentives.

    Thanks.
  • zwei10zwei10 Member Posts: 5
It might be regional; according to Consumer Reports Denver is, indeed a $1,000 incentive state.

Anybody knows the discounts available in Boston area? I am looking for Camry 06 LE. Please share recent deals with price break-up
    Thanks,
  • jake28jake28 Member Posts: 4
$20,300 seems like a good deal, but i agree with you that the dealership is trying to screw you out of $300 when you had already agreed to terms. I too live in Indy and have found Butler Toyota to be very hard to deal with in the past. In fact, i was really surprised to see them get somewhat aggressive for on your deal. please post again with your final price paid as i am interested in a 07 camry.
  • bmmeupbmmeup Member Posts: 29
I haven't bought one yet but Ed Martin in Anderson is offering to sell one for invoice with no extra "doc" fees but they don't have the right color in stock and that price is for in stock only. The salesman there seems to be very professional Tom Wood will get one for invoice plus a $98 "doc" fee. I just have a problem paying a "doc" fee. What's next, an additional fee to pay the light bill? I am thinking that at the end of the month one of these nice dealers is going to be more than happy to sell it for $20000. If not, I'll wait until they have more of them. In a month they will be more motivated.

Post what you've paid recently in the Chicago Suburban area
for an LE (4 or 6 cyl) and what options you had. I had a quote for $17,790 LE 4 cyl. with mats only. It did not include TTL. Same dealer quoted $18,349 with side air bags before TTL.
Another quote came in at $17,690 for mats only, then add TTL. How negotiable are internet quotes from your experience? Any insite would be great! Thanks.

I am buying a 97 Camry and the guy said the model is CLX. The VIN is legit, it has a sunroof, leather, premium sound, and is a 5 speed manual. Anyone ever heard of this model? Thanks in advance.

Got a quote for 06 camry LE 5AT with no option for 17k. With all fees put together it gets to 18.25k OTD. Anybody has better quote? Anything I should know? Please help and share your experience.

How's the factory remote start, I read on TN that the engine stops when you unlock the doors and have to press the start button when you get inside, is it true?
  • fsowirlesfsowirles Member Posts: 195
That is correct. It is a safety feature. When you start the car via remote start, the doors automatically lock. If you unlock the doors, or put the car into gear, the engine will shut off. So you can use the system to start the car adn let it warm up or cool off the interior but someone couldn't steal your car while you're doing this.

Or you can leave it running with a child inside (if you chose to do that) and not worry about little Johnny rolling down a hill when he reachs up and throws it into drive.

Got a deal for 2006 Toyota Camry LE w/ side/ curtain airbags for $17300 after 1200 toyota discount and 400 college grad discount.
  • lhddkklhddkk Member Posts: 2
I paid $18000 for 2006 Toyota Camry LE w/side curtain airbags + CF yesterday. You got a great deal!
  • curious_buyercurious_buyer Member Posts: 11
Just to clarify.. TAX(865) + TTL (86)+ doc(200) are extra over my base price of 17300. Total OTD price comes to 18451.
I have to take 3 min months of credit of min 5000$ to get (400$ college grad discount. So anintersrt of 100$ or so will add up in 3 months.

lhddkk, Could you clarify your total price break. Are you also talking abt base price of 18000?
    Thanks,
  • greencalgreencal Member Posts: 18
I paid 500 above invoice price + Tax for LE V4 with CF. I think Costo member program is way to buy. You got good deal.

I planned to buy 2006 Camry LE Auto I4 with no side airbags.MSRP of the car is 21,141.
    I live in NJ North.

On friday I have sent an email to one of the dealers in NJ giving them that I am looking at an outdoor price of 17300 for the above car.
    17300 ( includes vehicle cost + NJ tax @ 6% + DMV + Doc Fee + tyre tax )

I calculated 17300 OTD with 1500 toyota discount + 400 recent graduate discount.

He came back saying he would do it for 17800 OTD(out of the door).
I replied him that I will raise my offer by 200 and I am ready to do it at 17500 OTD (out of the door).

I just got a phone call from the sales person saying they are ready to do it at 17500 OTD.

I need to know if this is good price to pay. I did not yet negotiate on the finance rate, which I will be doing at the dealership today or tomorrow.
  • curious_buyercurious_buyer Member Posts: 11
From what I learnt by talking to sales folks and my research, you are getting a great price. Considering that you will have over 1000 bucks in TAX/TTL/DOC which means your base price is below 16500. The invoice price what dealers show is 19205 (Edmunds show it about 400 less). If you subtract 1200+400 , you get an effective invoice of 17605. youhave to add TAX_TTL+DOC on top of it. so this seems too good..
Actually too good to be true.. watch out for any surprises when you get to dealership. (well hope not)

Do post back the final deal price.

  • wood2525wood2525 Member Posts: 3
Just bought a '07 Camary CE in Texas, total OTD (with TTL) is 19K, compare with base CE & LE the price difference is $1,180 but you get keyless entry & Driver's power seat for LE.
  • zy1zy1 Member Posts: 31
    Hi wood2525,

Your 07 Camry CE is MT or AT?

    Thanks.
  • wood2525wood2525 Member Posts: 3
MT, sticker price is 20,503 (base 19,955 + 199 Mat + 349 Shield package) CE have all the LE have except pay $1,185 more for keyless & driver power seat. I can add keyless at Car Toys for less then $200. Why buy a LE.
  • njeraldnjerald Member Posts: 689
None, if you don't want a Std. power drivers Seat or want to order the moonroof, auto dimming mirror, factory alloy wheels, or JBL premium sound with Bluetooth OPTIONS.
  • zy1zy1 Member Posts: 31
Accord to edmunds.com, MSRP for CE MT is $18,850 and MSRP for CE AT is $19,900. The price is based on region?
  • drive2005drive2005 Member Posts: 13

The quote I got was 19500 OTD for 2006 Camry LE which I know is way to high
