I'm in Maryland, Baltimore/Washington area. Most of the dealerships in my area (and I have 4 within 25 miles) were very competitive in pricing. All came in within $500 to $38K on the road. I ended up buyng from the one that is only 2 miles from my house. They had good reputation and emailed me 2 hours before EOD on March 31st that they agree to $38K on the road. I couldn't resist it. Once there, they really showed a high class and there was zero pressure, zero tricks. I came in and they had already started paperwork on the car. It had correct price and was the same car (stock#) that we've negotiated about.

I'm new on this board don't know if it's against the rules to post dealership names.

Is there a way to send a PM? I'll send you dealership name via PM.

You may include the dealership name, city and state in your post. Please do not post names of salespeople, telephone numbers, email addresses, or other contact information.

See below in red for the above statement.

Its ok to put dealership name here, its not against the forum rules, just don't put name of any salespeople. Thanks and congrats on your new car.

    Infiniti247,

Do you still have any with premium and navigation left? If so, I am looking to buy. Hope it is dark interior though.

    Thanks,
    Badal
  • jtlajtla Member Posts: 388
First of all, you should put minimum, preferably zero, down payment on a lease. $4,500 is way too much. Secondly, since there is a trade involved, it is hard to judge the offer. Depending on the fair market value of your trade, you could be getting an okay deal -- or an horrible one.

Take your car to a CarMax near you for a free appraisal first. When negotiating for the new car, don't mention that you have a trade until you and the dealer have agreed to a price. Then try to get as much more as possible than the CarMax offer. If fail, you can always go back and sell to CarMax (I believe you have like 7 days to do so.)

In any event, you are going to need to do a lot more homework or you would be taken for a ride.

    Thanks for the info

The way he explained is was 3000 down and 1500 for tax all inception fees, new plates and also first payment

Is there anyway possible that i can't keep the payment at or around 400 though w.out the down payment

At First they wanted 6k down and 435 monthly

I don't see how you were able to get so much off the MSRP. Even with a $1,000 loyalty rebate or dealer cash your price is lower than invoice. How can the dealer sell you the 2010 G37 so cheaply? Do you mind explaining that to me?
  • iluvnewcarsiluvnewcars Member Posts: 23
That price is available in most areas.
  • valueguyvalueguy Member Posts: 210
So, this means $5,000 off with the loyalty rebate and about $4,000 off MSRP without it?
  • zooomiezooomie Member Posts: 4
I don't have an explanation. It's the truth. Dealer's name is JBA Infiniti in Ellicott City, MD.

My guess is that delers have unpublished rebates/kick backs from Infiniti.

Another thing was that they really wanted to make a sale before end of quarter. And I was on the fence because my wife didn't like stiffer suspension.

I was open an honest in my negotiations that I liked the car, but my wife wanted to check out some other options so I wasn't going to buy within their timeframe (by March 31st) unless it's an incredible deal. They told me at 7pm on March 31st that it's 38K on the road. I was there in 15 minutes.
  • valueguyvalueguy Member Posts: 210
Well your deal for this time of year was incredible. You got $6,000 off MSRP?
Did you qualify for the loyalty cash of $1,000 (which means you owned/leased an Infiniti recently)?

Sewell, is such a deal possible without the dealer losing money? I know that the manufacturer will sometimes send the dealer a check provided a certain number of vehicles are sold that month. This means the dealership may lose money on a car or two at the end of the month in order to meet a certain quota. Is that what happened here?
  • zooomiezooomie Member Posts: 4
Actually it was almost 8K off MSRP. The car had MSRP of 42,929. I paid $35,089 (with Taxes, Title/Destination, Doc fees it was $38K on the road)

I don't think I qualified for the Loyalty cash as I didn't have nissan/infinities before.

I trully don't know how much money they made on this sale It was simply a situation where they wanted a sale before I was ready so they had to offer a price that I felt if I don't get it now I will regret.

I'm sure glad I bought it. The more I drive my G37 the more I like it. And I'm looking forward to having a good/long relationship with the dealer. They are really close to my home and had a great service for the small update I had to come in for.
  • valueguyvalueguy Member Posts: 210
I agree with you: You got a fantastic deal. If I was offered that deal or something even close I don't know how I could turn it down. I was waiting until the Summer or November to get a deal like you just secured on that G37. It goes to show you a hungry dealer can make it happen.
  • dcnatfandcnatfan Member Posts: 20
Trying to determine if this is a good deal or if I can possibly do better.

    2010 G37x AWD
    Premium
    Navigation
    Wood Trim
    Platinum Granite

    $36,998 + Tax/Title/Fees = $39,828 OTD.

Not quite the $38,000 OTD that others have seen. How much lower do you think I can get them to go.

    MSRP is $41,830
  • m6userm6user Member Posts: 3,181
That deal that zoomie got for 38k out the door is not the norm for a 2010 G37x. He got a fantastic deal because he hit the dealership at the perfect time and he was more than willing to walk away and they could feel that. They must have had some kind of big incentive payment from Infiniti if they hit a certain mark and they were right there and needed one or two more sales. They lost money to make money. Can it be done again. Sure, but the situation has to be perfect which makes it real rare. That kind of deal on a 2009 could be done easier and would actually be a great deal. If you can get 5k or more off a 2010 you are doing very good.
  • dcnatfandcnatfan Member Posts: 20
I was fishing around on the same dealers website and came across the same exact stock number for the car they quoted me at $36,998 for $36,133.
  • dallasptdallaspt Member Posts: 7
This is the quote I have for a 2010 G37 convertible with the following options:

    Premium Package
    Navigation Package
    Sports Package

    MSRP = $51,465 - Sale Price = $47,465
Lease deal = 36 months, 15k per year, MF 0,00211 and Residual 60% (No sales tax)

    Doc Fee $595.

    Only first month up front.

Est Monthly payment = $651 with TL rolled in.

What do you guys think, good or bad?
  • dcnatfandcnatfan Member Posts: 20
I am shopping various dealers in the DC/MD/VA market and I received an interesting response from one dealer yesterday. They asked me the following question:

Just to make sure, are you planning or leasing or purchasing?
If you are planning on purchasing, would you be interested in the rebates ($2500.00) or the special Financing (0%-36 months, 1.9% -60 months, 3.9% - 72)?

Not sure what to make of this as none of the other dealers offered this to me and they were also offering only 2.9% for 60 months.

Is the $2,500 rebate available at all dealers as this is the 1st I have heard of it.

Hey guys just got this deal at the end of March

    G37 Sedan Sport

    Premium
    Navi
    Blackout Grille
    Cargo Net
    Front Lip Spoiler

    MSRP:40,975

Out the door Price: $36,390 (includes everything)

    Sales tax = 3.17%
    Dealer Fee = $299
Also, was able to get 2.59% financing for 5 years.
  • dcnatfandcnatfan Member Posts: 20
Ok. Finally able to close the deal on the following:

    2010 G37x AWD
    Graphite Shadow w/Graphite Interior
    Premium
    Navigation
    Interior Accents
    First Aid Kid
    Carpeted Trunk Mat
    Cargo Net
    Splash Guards

    MSRP - $41,830
    Negotiated Price - $35,933
Total Out the Door - $38,483
Plus 2.9% financing for 60 months

Pretty happy with the deal. Although they did try to screw me on my trade-in of an Audi. They offered me $7,500. Took it to CarMax and got $11,000.
  • muishkinmuishkin Member Posts: 2
Is the one with just the premium package still available?
  • pb13f8013pb13f8013 Member Posts: 6
Which dealership did you buy your car from?
    Congrats on your new car.
  • sewellgsmsewellgsm Member Posts: 775
Nope - IF they are doing this, without any tricky gimmicks, they are losing money...makes no sense. Who would buy a product wholesale and then sell it for less than they paid for it?? I guess them :) If it is too good to be true there is problably a catch.

BTW - Infiniti just announced an "After Tax" rebate of $500 on all G sedans! Lease or purchase...sales are slow right now. :(
  • sewellgsmsewellgsm Member Posts: 775
For 09/10 G sedans - Infiniti just announced an additional $500 - "After Tax" money. From today till 4/30/10.

This $500 is extra on top of the $1000 and special rates - this $500 can be used with a lease as well! :)

Considering buying a 2010 G37x coupe w/premium package. I am in the Albany, NY area...any thoughts on what a great value would be. Is 35,500K plus tax a reasonable price to pay at this time. No trade involved. Already own a 2006 x sedan.

Thanks in advance for any replies...
  • dcnatfandcnatfan Member Posts: 20
Jim Coleman in Bethesda, although a couple other dealers in the area were willing to match. Coleman is close to my house so went for the convenience factor.

Little bummed about the extra $500 rebate that I may have missed out on but can live with the deal I made. $38,298 out the door and 2.9% for 60 months.

On another note does anyone have a source on-line to purchase the all weather mats.
  • pb13f8013pb13f8013 Member Posts: 6
Thanks for the info man.....try this for the floor mats http://www.weathertech.com/, they fit perfect and quality is pretty good, used once.

    Hope that helps.

    Hello,
I'm looking to purchase a G37x coupe with the following options:

    Nav Package
    Premium Package
    Illuminated Kick Panels
Other options would be a plus

I reside in Canada and i'm not sure if any of the cash incentives apply for me. Last week i contact a couple dealerships for pricing, the lowest price i received is $43,000+D&H. I have seen some of you purchasing a coupe for around $38,000, is this something achievable for me? or am i excluded from the incentives and should be planning to pay closer to $40,000?
  • infiniti427infiniti427 Member Posts: 33
    Muishkin,

Yes the 09 G Coupe with Premium Package is still available! $31,998 +tax, tag&fees. It's White/Wheat... it was a demo and has about 1300 miles on it.
  • muishkinmuishkin Member Posts: 2
So it's a demo car, cool thanks.

I've been lurking on here for a couple of weeks. I just took a new job with a sweet car allowance. I did a lot of research and narrowed it down to either the Audi A4 or Infiniti G37. The Audi is a nice car, but the 2WD version only has CVT and a turbo 4 cyl.

The Infiniti offered a lot more power and I love the 7 speed AT with the manual shifting option.

I contacted approximately 10 dealers looking for the best price. I found a couple of dealers who offered slightly lower prices, but I got a better trade on my 08 Accord with the deal I took. I purchased from Lake Norman Infiniti near Charlotte, NC.

My G37 is the Sedan, RWD, Journey, with Preferred Package, Liquid Platinum with Graphite. MSRP was $37,650, my price was $32,188 so approximately $2500 under invoice. I took advantage of the 2.9% 60 month financing, so with trade equity, $1400 down, taxes and fees, I financed $30,665 for payments of $550.00 per month.

I do not have an Infiniti dealer near me, so I shopped dealers in Charlotte and Atlanta. Because I'll be working a lot in North Carolina, Charlotte made the most sense. I purchased from Lake Norman Infiniti, about 20 minutes north of Charlotte. I had to haggle a little with them, but they made it fairly easy and it was an overall pleasant process. Based on the deals I was seeing on here, I am pleased with my deal. I probably could have saved another $100/200 had I played dealers off against one another, but it wasn't worth the time and effort.

I drove the car home through the mountains yesterday and had a blast using the manual shifter. What an awesome car!

Now I just have to figure out the electronics!

Just got this "right off the bat" offer from a dealer in Chicago. What do you guys think?

    Model: G37 Sedan
    Color: Several colors
    List Price: $41,280
    Options: Navigation, Premium, AWD

YOUR SPECIAL INTERNET PRICE is $37,546
  • littlejoe613littlejoe613 Member Posts: 53
    You havent bought it yet?
  • mcossimcossi Member Posts: 12
Nope. Gonna test drive tomorrow. What are the chances I can knock off another $1,500?
  • needashowerneedashower Member Posts: 39
I'm in Chicago as well. I think $36K is doable. Let us know how you do. Which dealer(s) are you working with? Good luck.

Costco Referrral to Nor Cal Infiniti

    36,785 > G37 Sedan Journey + Prem + Nav
    + 550 > INTERIOR ACCENT PACKAGE
    - 1500 > 1000 MFR to Dealer, 500 After tax incentive
    35,835

    39,865 MSRP

    36,638 > Edmunds invoice

35,438 > Trucar lowest certified price

Q1 Costco price $150 over invoice, that seems ok?
Q2 Trucar say no incentives/offers, but $1500 mentioned elseware, too much to expect $1500 off the Trucar price ?
  • mcossimcossi Member Posts: 12
I decided to go with the Acura TL. I was working with Berman's in Chicago, but they're not very responsive. They must be doing very well with sales.
  • vander192vander192 Member Posts: 2
    Congrats on the new car!

Did the $32,188 include the destination charge?

    Thanks
  • mseenviromseenviro Member Posts: 64
Yes it did include the destination charge.

I've had it for two weeks and I LOVE THIS CAR. It's an awesome car. Quiet and refined on the road, but with a sports car lurking underneath ready to pop out whenever you want it to.

Does anyone know what the current dealer incentives are from the manufacturer? As I recall on a purchase for 2010 it was $1,500, then it was dropped to $1,000. Is there currently any incentive?
  • cgr2007cgr2007 Member Posts: 2
    Just purchased a G37X with premium/nav/wood trim.
    Price: $36,547 + taxes/fees
dealer threw in free all-weather mats, cargo net, and wheel locks.
    0% APR for 36 mo.
    Completed deal Apr 30.
Feel like I got a great deal!

my dealer mentioned $1500 incentives/holdbacks that applied to my deal, said they were expiring end-of-month (though they always say that I assume).

    Any new incentives for May?
  • pb13fpb13f Member Posts: 2
You indeed got a good deal. Which part of the country are you from? and which dealership did you go to?
  • sewellgsmsewellgsm Member Posts: 775
April was a tough month for dealers - thought Infiniti would come with some more incentives for May - but they did not.

09 G sedan - Infiniti is done, gave dealers $2500 - no lease, no special rates
09 G coupe - Infiniti paid out $3000 - no lease support, no special rates
09 GCV - Still $2000 if you buy - no special rates

10 G sedan - $1000 AND Special Rates or ($1000 Loyalty Rebate if you lease)
    10 G coupe - $1000 AND Special Rates
    10 GCV - $1000 OR Special Rates

In Texas, we have sales tax credits if you lease any G.

Good luck hunting....the car is still awesome! :D

So the $1,000 incentive would be in addition to what one can negotiate with the dealer?

I see that you are knowledgeable about Infiniti so my question for you is this..Would it be reasonable to offer on a 2010 G37x coupe..with premium package and mats and cargo net for $35,500 and have the offer accepted. I would be buying...not leasing and no trade involved...I am in the Albany, NY area where we have only 1 dealer

    What say you....

    Thanks in advance....
