It is already November...will the 2005 sedan be here by the new year, or will they wait until 2006 by which time all the 2004s will hopefully be off dealer lots. Infiniti, wisen up, create some incentives other than the $1000 in dealer cash to move the remaning 2004s.
In the mean time, I guess I'll have to settle for an Accord given the 1.9% financing on the 2005s. Wouldn't have minded paying another 15 grand for an Infiniti, but with no additional incentives, I just can't justify it.
Kelly Infinity of Danvers was another story altogether, very satisfying purchasing experience. Reached agreement on price in about 5 minutes with the GM as we were ready to buy the car we were looking for off the lot.
Try Kelly Infinity.
Thanks, jpl
They really dont want to budge on coupes at all, but I guess I lucked out after working on this for a while.
If I went right now for a coupe I would not expect much off of it.
I'm expecting delivery beginning of December
I'm torn between the auto and the 6mt. It really doesn't matter which one I drive but all I'm asking is do you think I'm getting a better deal on the 6mt rather than the auto. When you included all the extras, the invoice price was about a hundred dollars difference.
What dealer gave you those prices. Them seem very good.

Pepe-$33,334
Same car:
Ramsey(NJ) $32,565 ( from the dealership over the net)
Competition (LINY) $31,500 over the phone, but the guy was a clown; I almost hung up on him.
I prefer to buy at Pepe; I'll present him with these quotes and see whether he can match. I might have to walk away.
For $2300, I'll drive to the Island and deal with it.
Any thoughts?
My experience is a bit mixed. I live in Northern VA and I sent an email to all three dealers in my area. 2 in VA and one in MD. I told them I wanted a Twilight Blue with Graphite Interior, 6MT with Premium and that my drive out price, i.e., all included gross price should be 32,000. 2 dealers said no way and one said yes. The dealer which said yes is Jim Coleman in Bethesda MD. We exchanged some more emails and a day and time was set. This was so smooth and hassle free.
On the selected day just before i get there I tell them I have an ancient Toyota and if they accept trade ins. The guy said yes. He asked how much was I expecting and I said whatever edmunds TMV says and he says that sounds fair. So I take my old Toyota in thinking this will be a great day.
Now I get there, they show me the car, but hey!! the interior is Willow not graphite, the car has 400 miles on it and guess, what I see a coffee stain. Grrrrrrrrr!!! So I say no way to that car. They say they have no more in blue, so I ask what else do they have and they offer the silver car (this one had only 15 miles on it). So I say OK.
Then they offer me just $100 for the toyota, the edmunds TMV was 1000. Ugh!!! more arguments and we settled at $550. So my net was 32404 - 550.
By the way, at the end the delaer said if I ever wanted the Nav package they could get it for 1300, which 700 less than if I got it as an option with the new car. Something to check before you pay for the Nav option.
At the end of it all, I love my car, and once fight over the price got over, the fact remains that this dealer did make me the best offer.
Good Luck !
Today I visited Harte Infiniti, in West Haven, CT, which has an advertised lease deal for an '04 G35X (w/Premium, but no sunroof) of $259/mo for 42 mos., with cap reduction of ~$3,000. They gave me a quote on an '04 G35X with an MSRP of $36,320 (premium sunroof Bose plus maple, etc.) of $32,995, at $379/mo./42 mos. with no $$ down, 10K, and $1446 drive away costs. Remember that's with 6% CT tax.
Based on the Edmunds estimated deal, this seems about right, maybe ~$200 less than what Edmunds thinks is right. With the $1,000 marketing $$ from Infiniti, I'm trying to hold out for a slightly better deal.
BTW, they have ~80 G35Xs in stock (!).
I'm looking for a G35 sedan, RWD, 2004, leather, with premium, sports package, and Aerodynamic Body Kit w/Rear Spoiler. Can I get it for 30K?or how much should I expect to pay with these options? I will be paying by cash, and I live in SoCal.
Can't tell you about the exact sedan you want but mine is pretty close, but I did get a 2004 G35 Auto, Premium (without full size spare), Sports Package, trunk mat, splash guardsbut no body kit for $31107, $500 below invoice. The dealership was in Towbin Infiniti in Las Vegas, got it end of September. Hope this helps! Good-luck!
However, I think I will be paying at least 4K off MSRP by the time I purchase, 30th of Nov. Since you can get such a good deal at that time, I think I have to try my best to bargain with them!
I'm aiming for 5K+ off MSRP
Let me know if you want the quote I got in email. I am sure you guys can do better than that do($5000).
Good luck!
I went to my local dealer to see a 2005 G35 sedan last Sunday AM – when they were closed. Just interested in checking out the new interior and exterior changes right now.
But what I noticed was WAY, WAY more G35 Coupes than I have ever seen in their inventory. 2004s and 2005s – but probably 6 times the number that I have ever seen there before.
Infiniti of Gwinnett – about 20 miles northeast of downtown Atlanta.
Happy hunting!

Wondering if this might mean better “deals” might be available than in the past . . .
any good deals, for cash or lease in CA ? at this time, or wait till spring of next year?
$5000 off msrp

Pls clarify!!
Or should I wait for new 06 , BMW 3 series coming out this spring?
From what I seen at Freshalloy.com, 05 sedan can be bought for $1000 to $1500 over invoice.

I have tried using the Edmunds dealer quote service but I cannot get anyone to return with a quote.
Thanks

Last nite, I just came back from a test drive of a 05 G35 RWD sedan and FX. Turns out we didn't want the FX because of interior space and poor rear visability.
In the G35, the new interior is very nice. There's nothing to complain about on the inside(for my case). During testdrive, the car was very quiet, tight, and smooth shifting.
Options: The car we looked at has the premium package and comes with intelligent key. The MSRP was around $34,500(includes dest). We like the car very much but still didn't want to make the decision before checking out the TL accross the street. So on our way out, the manager said $1000 over invoice was the best they can do to stop us from visiting the Acura dealership. This is N.CA if you are interested in the location.
This morning I am checking out the pricing on the additional equipments at Edmunds. It seems like the dealer is actually charging me more on the options than the invoice or msrp listed at Edmunds. One thing I need to verify is if the numbers on Edmunds are for an 04 or for an 05. Or could be the dealer finding different way to make up the profit.
Anyway $1000 over invoice was what they gave me on the 05 RWD sedan.
By the way, does anyone know if Intel employees can participate in the VPP? My brother works for them so maybe I qualify.
This weekend, we will test drive the TL. For pricing, the TL when comparably(spelling??) equipped, is $31,500(quote from internet sales mngr). Which is about $1500 less than a G35 we test drove. We'll have to decide and let you guys know how it goes.
