    I received this quote for a 2015-EX-L.
    $29,240
+$1800 options (tint, wheel locks, all season mats, etc)
    -$2156 discount
    $28844 before taxes/fees
    +816 dealer/dmv fees
    +884.49 tax

That sees way out of line for a 2015, as there 2016 model are priced almost the same. What should I be targeting as a price before fees? $22,500?

It is. Dealer will sucker someone to buy that 15 model for that price. Make sure its not you

Target 3k below invoice price on any 2015 model. If I was buying a 15 model I would only consider 3k plus below invoice price.

In most states 1k to 1800 below invoice is possible right now on most 2016 models. .

Hi. I am trying to figure out a price for the 2016 Honda Accord EX L V6. One dealer in FL OTD 31,498 below is the breakdown.
    Cash Price $28,550.00
    Sales Tax $1,750.78
    Tag and Title $392.05
    Waste $6.50
    Delivery $799.00
    OTD $31,498.33
MSRP on this car is $31,580.00
Will I be paying too much? What is the fair OTD price?
    Thank you!

Your models invoice w destination charge = 28,952. A good deal in your area is 1600 to 2000 below invoice price after taking in consideration the very high doc fee charge of 699 to 899. ask each dealer what there doc fee charge is then add it to your below invoice number.

If I target 2k below invoice Price and dealers doc's are 699 then sale price of the vehicle needs to be 2699 below invoice. Post any further questions in the 2016 Accord buying forum . your in 2015 forum

    Hello,
Looking to purchase a used 15 Touring. Internet sales price: $26,999. 14K miles. I called and offered $21k. The associate said that was ridiculous and that he took in the car for $25400. He said he won't go anywhere near $21k. Does that sound right? I want to wait until end of month pending it's still in stock to go in and negotiate. What's a reasonable OTD or selling price? I see a couple of 15 hybrid touring in the area for $26999 too. Thanks.

Make a offer for 24.5k at the end of the month . Dealer probably still wont let go for that cheap but its worth a shot.

Depending on what state your buying in your area dealers doc fee charge can be High and will cut into your offer price. You must know this fee prior to your final offer and closing this deal?

The dealers doc fee charge is added onto deal after you agree on a sale price and are finalizing the deal and paperwork . Find out what they are ?

Dealer associate lied to you . If this Accord was traded back and the seller was somewhat educated on pricing they probably got a trade back price somewhere in the low to mid 23k range. Check out KBB or Nada pricing on a 15 Accord trade in .
