Took delivery of a 2015 EXL Accord, modern steel metallic w/ light gray interior this past Tuesday. Price was 25,016 + 399 doc fee + 180 new plates + CT state tax. That was the "Best Price First" price and there would be no negotiation on that. Fine with us. Dealer in Hartford gave us1500 for my 2001 Maxima SE auto tranny,(not leather) w/ 124,000 miles and including the rot around the rear wheel wells,(fantastic car through the years - really). We feel we made a great deal on this new Accord. Really love this car so far. Yeah, not the sporty road feel as the Maxima but is most "luxurious" car that we've ever owned - feature packed. Very nice car all around and adequate power - good acceleration,(coming out of that Maxima). I could go on and on but this is a pricing forum so, I wont. Good luck in your quest for a new Accord. I highly recommend for great, all around driving satisfaction - this EXL 4 banger.
thanks for all expert. I am in md. I think if I wait for couple months till end of year maybe 2016 accord sport will has more discount? Right? I am not rush to get it .
Been shopping for a few weeks for a friend and finally pulled the trigger today.
Deal made in NJ 2015 Accord EX-L with Nav Modern steel with gray interior.
Sticker-31,015 including dest. Purchase Price- $25,900 Taxes NY 8.875% (yuck)-$2298.63 DMV-$301 Doc-$399 OTD-$28,898.63.
I think I did pretty good, had one dealer offer 28k OTD just to get rid of his last 2015 but the color wasn't cutting it and was almost to good to be true. I also had some cheaper prices but ended up waiting for to long. I really tried pushing for some free accessories since I was told it didn't come with any. The car ended up having a pro-pack with mud guards,cargo tray and wheels locks which was a surprise. Dealership ended up not charging me for them!
I think I did pretty good and if my numbers are right I'm $2500 under invoice. Let me know what you all think.
One word of advice on car shopping: This is my second time now I was able to complete a deal over the phone. My Nissan purchase I ended up never stepping foot into the showroom, the dealership was 318 miles away from me and delivered it for free. This deal was done over phone and email. If the first response from the dealership is we don't negotiate over the phone or email and they claim you have to be in the showroom try and push them just a little and explain that you know it's policy but it's just not something you have time for(which many of us don't now a days). Also sooner or later after your reach out over email you will usually receive a generic email from a sales manager or GM that has their contact information. Use this information to your advantage and once they can tell you are serious about car buying most of the time they are willing to play ball. One of the dealerships who refused to give me a price that I stopped at ended up leading to a horrible car shopping experience. Any other questions feel free to shoot me an message.
What's going on guys, I have this 2015 Accord lx cvt deal in the orange County area, Southern California area.. Let me know how it sounds. My 2012 lx civic is kinda banged up.
First of all, I want to say BIG THANK YOU to @brian125 and @kyfdx. Orginally, my wife and I were interested on 2015 Passat SE model, but as you know by now, VW turned out to be one of the biggest liar and cheater of automobile history. So we changed our target vehicle to 2015 Accord Coupe EX-L V6 model and above two person's help and their knowledges were great guidance for finding the deal.
Tonight, we just have picked up our car from Pohanka Honda Fredericksberg, VA and here is breakdown;
------------------------------------------------------------------------- * 2015 Accord Coupe EX-L V6 ( no navigation & no accessories, but free floor mats )
* Invoice price: $ 28,964.00 ( inclusive of destination fee of $ 820 )
* Internet price : $ 25,100.00 ( inclusive of destination fee of $ 820 ) ( negotiated through email & phone call ) * Doc Fee: $ 599.00
* VA Tax (4.1% ): $ 1,053.66
* Tag & License: $ 62.75
* OTD price: $ 26,815.41
we financed thru Honda for 0.9% @ 24 months and deal was locked and booked on 9-30-15. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Orginally, internet manager quoted me @ $ 25,390.00 and tried negoiated down to $ 24,600.00, but we ended up agreed on $ 25,100.00, which, we are still very pleased.
Overall, him and his sales person was professional and pleasant to negoitiated thru out whole processl. We are so glad that got this deal and especially, with exact color combination that my wife wanted.
Hope everyone who is hunting for remaining 2015 Honda model gets great deal and certainly we are blessed by this forum and posting prices. Also hope our experience help someone.
Just purchased 2015 Accord Lx OTD price was $20,425. Venice sale price was 17,800 plus tax tag dealer fees. I think that was a pretty good deal. This forum has been very helpful.

I have an offer for new 2015 Honda Accord Ex-L. This is from dealership in Charlotte, NC Invoice price including destination ($820) = $26,817 Target Price : $ 25462 Tax : $300 (3%) Services/Handling : $699 Title Transfer/ Tag: $39
Total OTD : $26500
Does this sound like a good deal for 2015? I was thinking to go back too dealership and try to get same deal for 2016 Honda Accord EX L. Any thoughts? @brian125
They are also offering lifetime warantee on expensive parts of the car..

Not sure of the demand in NC but you should be able to knock them down more. $699 doc fee is also crazy but im sure that's already printed on the buyers order.

The 2015 price is @656 below invoice after taking into consideration the high doc fee charge of (699 )
Not a good deal for this time of the year on a 2015 model. You can do better. Find dealers with more 2015 vehicles on there lots. Negotiate buying at the end of the month and not the beginning of the month. Buying this way will give you the best chance for a lower price in any area especially (N.C.) which does not sell Accords like we see in other states @2k / 3k below dealers invoice price.
Buying a 2016 Accord for Invoice price is really buying at 699 above invoice. N.C. doc fee is a killer @699. Always compensate this charge buy reducing the agreed selling price on any new car purchase.
I split time thru the year from NY and Myrtle Beach. I never venture into NC to buy any vehicle cause of this ridiculous handling fee especially Accords deals are not good there. So don't go crazy with pricing. Round up 10 to 12 dealers closet to your house and make your best deal at the very end of the month. Supply is getting low and dealers wont discount like other states .
Thanks @carman89 and @brian125 for your comments. I received one more offer from another dealer today for 2015 Honda Accord EX-L. This is the internet sales price, which I received from the dealership in email. I have not negotiated this offer yet, planning to go there this weekend. I will trade in my 99 camry CE (160K) but I plan to not disclose that until I finish negotiation on car price. What do you guys think how much should I quote here, what will be a good price?
Email Offer (Not negotiated yet): Car Price = $24516 SC Tax = $300 Doc Fee = $550 Title = $40
OTD : $25404
What was the best deal on this model so far? I am still thinking should I go for this deal or should I wait till end of this month?
I am planning to buy honda accord exl v4 (without navi)! OTD price given to me was 27,000. Would I be paying high?
You need to breakdown your deal so we could help you . Taxes, Dmv fees, and Doc fees differ from each state. What state are you looking to buy? Read thru boards to see how other post/ breakdown there quotes and deals.
You did very well on your sale................. Good job
Sounds like a great buy! I live in the same area and heard on the radio a dealer offering new Camrys for around $6000 off, YET they charge a $995 admin/doc fee! Admin/doc fees have gotten out of control I remember, as I'm sure many do, when admin/doc fees were not charged. Buyer beware.
2021 VW Arteon SEL 4-motion, 2018 VW Passat SE w/tech, 2016 Audi Q5 Premium Plus w/tech
i purchased my accord lx for 18,000 before TTL or 20,425 OTD in Aventura, FL. No options but wheel locks added to the vehicle. That's the best price I could get after going to six dealerships.
Good area to buy a Accord. Depending on dealers stock 2k to 3k below invoice should be your high and low target price. Read thru past boards for dealer info and pricing.
I finally closed a deal ! 2016 Honda Accord exl 4cyl. As advised by Brian to try to get @invoice or 500 below invoice. 2016 Honda Accord exl 4 cyl invoice w dest 26,953 Selling price 26,000 8.1% tax 2146 Doc fee 499 title 29.25 otd 28,675
I am following the forums here, and I tried to connect with 5-6 dealers for buying Accord Lx 2015 model in Dallas area, and after 5 days of hard work, I m getting a deal of 21,100 as Out of door price(including 6.25% tax, some doc fees and license fees, dealer add ons : tints, wheel lock and mug guard and trunk tray AND I believe that it includes destination fees also) And this includes default 3 yr/36000 miles Honda warranty
Do you guys think, there is a dealer in this area who can beat this figure. I have to buy the car by tomorrow or at max by this Friday
Hey Ram, Thank you very much for the information and guidance. Can you please share the direct number of Sales person Enrique or yours .. or take my number sevenzerofour eightfive8 two3ninezero, as I need to close a deal today. and what i m getting is 21100 as of now for accord lx 2015 grey color
hi all new to the forum - i saw a couple of 2014 Accords at my local dealership. Do you have any ideas as to what a good deal would be for a 2014 and if its even worth it?
can you suggest me a best price for 2016 Accord Lx .OTD ( i m looking for 2016, as it has new features and fancy lights. Moreover, I m not finding grey color in 2015 Accord Lx)
I bought a new 2015 Honda Accord EX model on Saturday. MSRP was $26,650.00 including destination. The dealer had a addendum sticker to include wheel locks, trunk tray and mud guards. I paid $22,700 including destination charges and dealer documentation fees. All I had to add to this price was my state's sales tax and tag fee.
Hi, I'm looking for 2016 Honda Accord EX (With Honda Sensing). This is the one of the lowest quote I have got.
Sale Price 24,199 Freight 820 Processing fee 300 Taxes 1520 Tags 294 Total 27,133
Can you suggest how much bargaining scope it has. Thanks
Sorry I IM you the wrong invoice price . When you did not specify in your IM I assumed you were talking about the 2016 LX model. Invoicing @$22,698 w/ dest charge.
On the EX model invoice is $25,777 w/ dest charge. Your above deal @$25,019 and taking dealers 300 doc fee in consideration puts you right in my target price $478 below dealers invoice for MD this month.
Negotiating at the very end of this month getting more dealers involved in the price wars could help you save a few more dollars. As dealer stock grows on lots pricing will be better.
