Don't negotiate the payment, negotiate the selling price and ensure that the base MF is being used.

The pull-ahead program waives all payments so nothing should get rolled into the new lease.

Reading through the posts, MF seems to be .00083 with .00010 autopay discount and 58%/56% residual 12k/15k (how about 10k?). Still the same numbers?

We've been to a couple of dealers, and it seems they mark up the MF. by Sep 30th 2015, MB is promoting 0.00045, but the dealers are having 0.0005 markup, which gets to around 0.0008~0.0009. I am confused about such offers, is the MF supposed to be provided by MB, or it could be determined by the dealers with some markup? Thank you

We give the base rate for top tier credit. Dealers can certainly mark up the rate for extra profit. That's why you need to know the base rate.

Could I get the RV and MF for a 2015 GLK250 Bluetec for 24 and 36 12k and 15k my dealer was showing almost 10k off msrp but the MF was .00225 which seems very high. Thanks.

The GLK Bluetec uses the standard MF from MBFS; we don't know what it is exactly, but .00225 isn't out of the realm of possibility.

Ordered a 2016 GLC and it will be in the states next week according to the dealer. Did not see a forum for the resdesgined and renamed GLK so wondering if numbers are out yet for the GLC. Thanks!

I'll assume RWD. The base MF is .00037.

I would also confirm the net cap cost - it looks to be 35,153 (base + costs - CCR). Find out what number the dealer is using.

Using the base MF and the net cap cost I calculated, I get $379.45/mo with 6% tax included. So, closer to your calcs than the dealers. They could be inflating the MF, as well.

Using your prices, I get $518/mo with tax for 36 months, assuming $0 down.

Would be good to see the full breakdown of the $4900 cash up front. Every $1000 used as down payment reduces your pre-tax payment about $28/mo for a 36 month lease.

Apparently the dealer is using a cap cost of $3,272 because he's including a 6% sales tax estimate of $2,157 in the cap costs ($1115 + $2,157) and the net cap cost he is using is $38,410 ($35,138 + $3,272). He states that the sales tax ($2,157) is for the price "only if I pay for the car." So does that mean he is taxing the entire sales price of the vehicle ($35,138) and factoring that amount into my cap costs? It appears that way. Because that would put him about at the payments he is quoting me (see my previous comment above). Can he do that? I thought only the monthly payments were taxed in FL?

I think they are trying to confuse you. Only payments are taxed in FL; no upfront tax is due unless there is a cash incentive available.

Their email has finance and leasing options included in one email and it is very confusing. Looks like we're coming to a meeting of minds on the figures though. Hopefully picking up the car tomorrow.
