I just want to thank everyone on this site.  All the information that has been provided was extremely useful on my new all awd q40 with nav and moonroof package lease that I just agreed upon today.

    My deal was this:
    msrp: 41200
Cap cost of 33,260.  I asked for the same price that dsheib had posted above.  I emailed the closest dealer around me and they agreed to that price even though msrp was higher.
lease term was 39 month / 10k miles per year
$955 for all out the door costs.
My deal came out to be $333 a month with nothing out the door for a PA lease which includes the 9.0% PA tax.

I never could have imagined I could get this car for that price.

    Thanks again to everyone.

Congratulations - a most excellent deal. Enjoy the new Infiniti!

Struck a deal yesterday for the 2015 white on black (last one in this color on their lot) Q40 AWD with Navigation, rear deck spoiler, midnight black grille.  Will post exact numbers tomorrow.  $360 per month 39mo/12k $565 out the door (includes first payment and registration).  They picked up my last 2 payments ($900 in total) on my current G37.  Got them to give me free oil changes and tire rotation for a year and threw in all season rubber floor mats.

Thank you very much for all your help guys......knowledge is power.

Hey guys! I am new here and this is my first time trying to lease a car on my own. If anyone would be so kind, could you please tell me what I fair lease price on a Q40 2015 AWD and FWD, 39/10 would be? I don't care for GPS, unless the difference in price is really minimal. I am looking for prices near Jacksonville FL. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Could someone please provide the money factor and residual for a 2015 Q40 RWD for 24 months / 12k miles, 36 months / 12k miles (if available), 39 months / 12k miles? And do the residuals increase by 1% for 10k miles, and decrease by 2% for 15k miles? Thank you!

Could someone please tell me if the MF and residual changes from state to state? If so, could you guys help me with the MF and residual on a Q40 RWD 39/12 for Jacksonville FL area? Still trying to figure out what the accurate cap cost is also, in order to plug it into my formula. I keep getting a price of around $360/mo with nothing down for the said model, which seems like too much.....

With the almost 8K off MSRP going on right now I really want to get a Q40 now. Do you think they would go down that much in NY? I am looking to get a Q40 with Nav and Sunroof.
Also, do you have the tier's MF for infiniti? I know my Credit score and I would like to know where I stand

    Thanks

I should have gone to these forums before my friend leased his infiniti, after seeing the deals so many of you here have picked up I can't believe how much he is paying, the best deal so far is from Paul8590, q40 nav and moonroof with $330 down and $330 a month which has navigation and 15k miles....

My friend leased his g37x without navigation, it has a moonroof, he put a little over 2000 down and paying $325 a month....which comes out to approx $410 a month, this is with 12,000 miles a year for 24 months....not 39....I have also seen some people get free oil changes for a year, my friend had a hard time getting all weather mats thrown in....
Im looking at the Q40 now, looking for little to nothing down and around $300-$325 a month, thats without navigation and 10,000 miles a year which I think is extremely doable....maybe up to 12k a year....

Also looking at Q50 base but might just stick with the Q40 to keep my price where I want it, will see..

I'm actually in nh where there is no tax just so you all know. Also the dealer i went to has free oil changes/tire rotations for 2 years. They offered to extend that to the full lease for 10/month but I do most maintenance myself so not necessary.

And i have dsheib to thank for this deal. I basically was shooting for his deal without the tax. I did also trade in a 2014 Subaru BRZ with 4k miles that I didn't drive much for the 15 months I owned it. So that may have factored into the deal. Don't think I made out like a bandit but at least I have a car that I'll be happy with for the next few years.

OUCH, Im confused, you traded in your BRZ that only had 4,000 miles on it and you are still leasing the Q40 at $330 a month????

The BRZ trade in had to be worth at least $18,000-$20,000, even if you low ball it at $15,000 which I hope you didn't give it up for that amount since I know to lease a BRZ cost as much as leasing a Q40 and maybe even more....
With that that trade in amount you should have walked away with them handing you a check for at least $5,000-$7,000, you said you owned the car in full...

Im a bit confused by your Q40 lease deal, without turning in any car to infiniti I would say that was a great deal, but now that you turned in a 2014 BRZ, that deal is the worst I have ever seen, please clear up some details for me, thanks.

    How does this deal looks?

Q40 AWD with sunroof and navigation 39/12K

    MSRP: 40,995
    Selling Price: 33,535
    Cap reduction: 1,000 (Loyalty)
    Residual: 21,727 (53%)

He did not give me the money Factor but I am assuming it is .00008 (correct me if I am wrong)

    $325/month

with $617.32 out of pocket plus plates (around $200 extra)
    NY sales tax

    Is this a good deal?
Is there any way I can get a better price?
What is Infiniti's MSD policy? where can I find the information?

    Thanks

Also, out of the question. My friend wants to lease a new car, he's looking at this car as well, he applied for financing and got pre-approved for tier 6 credit, does anyone have the MF for tier 6? I know that will increase the payments a good chunck

With your numbers, I show 307.18/mo pre-tax. Are the taxes rolled into the payment or are you paying them up front?

I don't track selling prices, though $7500 off sticker seems a good deal from where I sit.

I think you can use 1 MSD to reduce the MF to .00001 - might save you a few bucks a month.

    Tier 6 MF is .00238 (5.7%).

The taxes are rolled into the lease. seems like a decent deal as well. I think I am going for it.

And I know I think you can only do 1 MSD a month in NY is that right?
what about if the car is leased in another state but registered in NY, can you do the 9 MSD to reduce the MF?

Not sure that NY allows any MSD, and there is a lot of discussion and disagreement about whether you can lease a car from NJ or CT as a NY resident and get the full MSD available.

HA. there is no point in disclosing the whole deal here when all that matters is what you guys are going to pay for a q40 so I only posted my negotiated q40 deal. Of course I didn't disclose the fact that I financed my BRZ and the dealer paid off my loan ~19k and lowered my monthly payment below 330 with a bit of equity from the BRZ.

    You need 1 more 0 in the MF ... it's .00039. 39/10 residual is 55%.

With your MSRP and cap cost, I get a payment of $256.46; pretty close to your dealer quote.

The dealer is asking for 1895.10 as Total drive off.. That includes 899 due at signing and other fees.

Is there any other negotiation that I can do with dealer to reduce the downpayment??

i leased this car at OCT 30 2014, pretty happy with it especially for the deal i got.
    2015 q40 with moonroof w/o nav,
3500 out of pocket (traded in my old mustang)

the only downside is, now i really like q50 (prob should have got q50 instead) :( and i still have to drive this car for about 3 years lol, but anyway, its a nice car!

I get $311 before tax; tax rate would have to be 11% for the payment to be $345/mo.

Double check the cap cost number - it may be different from what you've given me.

My local dealer is telling me there is only about 6k worth of discount available (+ $1000 loyalty I am not eligible for). How are you guys finding dealers willing to discount from MSRP by ~7500 ? Are those including owner loyalty discount?

Looking to see if I can get in on these amazing lease deals. Thing is I have a 2014 Honda Accord EX-L w/o nav. Just hit 1 year with it this month and have 6,000 miles on it. My payoff amount is $24205.02.

What kind of payments am I looking at with trading in my car? Would they even take a year old lease off my hands?

Looking for AWD with or without nav (preferably with) and $0 downpayment. Located in PA if that helps any.

    Any help is appreciated, thanks!

Someone may need to correct me, however, I believe to get out of your current lease without any negative equity the Infiniti dealer would need to be willing to cover the payoff amount of your current lease. This may be possible based on the strong resale value Honda is known for, but, you would probably need to talk to them and let them appraise the vehicle.

I think it will be pretty expensive to bail on the Honda lease after only 12 months. Have you confirmed with the bank the payoff amount?

Head over to the "Real World Trade in Values" discussion here to get an honest appraisal of your Accord. While resale is pretty good, I still think there is going to be several thousand dollars of negative equity to deal with.

You can either roll that amount into the new lease or give the dealer the cash to make up the difference.

In order to model a payment, we'd need to know the MSRP and selling price of the Q40 you are interested in.

You're right, my payoff is pretty much the vehicle is worth. The payoff amount I listed is straight from Honda finance. So for them to make any money on it, I am going to have to eat that which would inflate my price. I've traded all of my leases in early, but never after only a year. But after I saw some people getting pretty ridiculous lease deals on here with very little to nothing down for both premium and nav packages.

Is there any negotiating power I have going in like this?

MSRP for Q40 around me is around $35,000-41,000
True Market value is around $32,500-35,00

I realize these numbers are loose but I haven't gone in to talk to anyone. Wanted to check on here before I did because the closest dealer to me is over a half hour away.

    Thanks for your help.

Hi. I just recv'd a quote today on a Q40 from the dealer here in S. Florida. From what I'm reading on this forum though, I feel like my quote is out in left field. This is for a Q40 with moonroof and misc other items on the sticker ( ie: pearl paint, illum. kickplates, splash guards, trunk mat +,
    The base MSRP is 33,950
    The add ons are 2,245
    Destination 905
    Total = 37,100.00
The dealer sent me a quote with a net cap of 31,389
    residual = 54% and the lease we're looking for is 39 mo / 12K

The monthly payment came out to 330.00 with about 1000.00 down ( they put on the quote 2,000 down and told us we get 1000 deducted for loyalty since we currently lease an Infiniti).

This was from the 1st dealer that I had give me a quote but I feel like there's plenty of room for negotiation here. A little advice please. From what I'm reading above, my payments without nav should be around 260-280.00 Is that in the ballpark? Thanks.

Regarding the acq fee. My dealer put in 2 fees. Doc fee 895.00 and Bank fee 700.00
I think the bank fee is also the acquisition fee.

Is cap reduction another term for downpayment? The dealer used it to lower the cap cost.
Total cap - cap reduction = net cap.

But he put the amount back into part of what makes up the downpayment ( plus standard fees )
    Thanks.

With that MSRP and net CAP, I get $335/mo. Does that include sales tax?

MF is .00039 and the residual is correct at 54%.

The doc fee is a giant $900 addition to your selling price. Florida is famous for this.. Adds $25/mo.+ to your payment.

Bank fee = acquisition fee, and $700 is correct.

Yes.. CAP reduction = downpayment. It's either coming from you, or that rebate.

Yes. this includes the sales tax. Its 311.20 + 18.67 tax = 329.87
Still seems high to me with what I'm reading here. Seems like this should be the lease price with nav and we have no nav here.

How have we been getting the cap cost of 30K on other quotes ?
