Previous lurker, appreciate these threads greatly.

Looking to lease a 2015 Civic CVT LX in Southern California. Would love to have residual value and MF on a 36/12k lease. Any lease cash available?

I also have a few quick questions on Honda lease incentives. Do these pre-built offers already have any available lease cash added in (ie I cannot further use utilize lease cash)? Can I apply a grad discount to the Honda incentives? I'm not able to find a clear answer, is there a standard disposition / return fee for Honda?

    Thank you for your time!

.00030 MF and $1000 lease cash.

36/12 residual for the LX is 60%.

National or regional lease specials usually have the lease cash built in to them.

You should be able to stack the college graduate incentive.

I don't see a disposition fee, but it doesn't mean there isn't one....

Hi guys, I am sure you can help me out. I got some great quotes for a sales price of the civic LX CVT Sedan, and now I am trying to find out my final lease cost. I did not tell any of the dealers this would be a lease, so the quoted price is cash. Could I use the lease cash ($1,000) on top? Sounds too good to be true.
Also, I have trouble figuring out all fees, etc.
This is what I found so far, but I want to make sure I am not missing anything:
    Acquisition Fee: $595
    Registration (per DMV): $206
Dealer Doc Fee: $80 (not sure)
Misc Fees Tire etc: $25 (total estimate)
And I found TTL on here, btu I am not sure if that is just the registration fee.

    Thanks

    California? .00030 MF and 58% residual for 36mo, 15K/yr

The $1000 is either lease or finance cash, so the price shouldn't change, though you'll have a $595 acquisition fee on the lease, and the tax will be on the payment, instead of on the selling price.

It's possible that the selling price you've been quoted includes purchase incentives not available should you lease. If not, then the $1000 lease cash would apply.

TTL would apply on a purchase, but in CA the calculated lease payment would be subject to lease tax.

I should have been a bit more precise I guess. I was trying to find out the actual added cost and fees.
I have all the info on residual and money factor, but when I run the numbers, based on the sales price they quote me and the above mentioned fees, my lease payments are $20 lower than what they quote, so there is somewhere around $750 and $1000 missing in the equation.
    Here is what I have:
    MSRP 20110
    Sales Price quoted $16,385.
on 12k miles/36 months I come up with zero due at drive off and 36 payments of 154,79 plus tax, but they quote me 179/months.

Ask them what the net cap cost is, and what fees were added to the sale price.

These guys are crazy, said the cap cost is 17k but payments are higher. When I asked them how that could be, they said I would not know how to calculate it.
Finally found one honest guy in Torrance. Picked up car today. $0 drive off, zip, nothing nada and $166/ months.

Leasing a 2015 Civic LX is a no brainer! Low MF and such wonderful resale that residuals are high.

Hi, I am looking for a lease for my sister and I know nothing about Hondas. This is what I'm getting so far. What is a good deal on these? I'm going to try to get the price down a bit more. In Ohio. Thanks!

Civic lx 20100 sell for 17110 residual .59
    193.28 down (same as monthly)
    35 month

    SE – 20810, sell for 17810, residual .58
    208.33 down (monthly)

He couldn't give me the MF which I thought a bit odd.

MF for the Civic in Ohio this month is .00030. With your numbers, I get a pre-tax payment of $154.55/mo for the LX and $168.41/mo for the SE.

Totally agree with Michael - no reputable dealer who wants to deal straight with customers would refuse to provide a money factor. Even If he did not have it at his fingertips, he couldn't ask someone who had the info? It's no different than asking about APR. Hope you have other dealers available.

Right? He said he wasn't up on all the leasing lingo. I agree though, shouldn't be that difficult to get. The other dealer gave me this:
    2015 Se msrp 20810 207.61x35 3600 0miles 36 month lease m factor .00020, residual 12331

I'm thinking they are both using similar MFs (although he had it at .00020 instead of .00030) because they are rolling the tax, title and fees into the lease. Are these numbers pretty standard for a lease?

Thank you both for your feedback!

Honda does discount the MF if you do a $0 due at signing lease.

Looking at 2015 EX-L ( Coupe or Sedan) in Illinois. 36/12 and Zero down.
    Need MF and Residual %.
Also how Close they get to Invoice price. I am trying to get to 19.5k or lower on EX-L. MSRP is $23.6k
I need EX-L because it has Heated seats others EX dont offer Heated Seats.
I am seeing 200/m on zero down and 35 payments on the Honda Web sites.

.00030 MF and $1450 lease cash.

57% residual for sedan, 54% for coupe.

With the $1450 lease cash, you should be able to get well under invoice.

There is $1450 lease cash on this model. 60% residual.

Money factor depends on which region. What state are you in?
Either .00030 or .00076 (possibly .00010 less on either, as you have a $0 Due at Signing lease)

Maine gets the .00030 MF ... or .00020 for $0 down leases.

Using your numbers, I get a payment of $225.28/mo after 5% tax. I would confirm with the dealer what the net cap cost is ... might be another fee or two in there.

Thank you very much for your input. Great to know about the MF. I didn't ask them, and they didn't run my credit, so I'm not too worried there. They've been crazy above-board with me, so hopefully just a quick conversation will clear it up.

They're bending over backwards to get me the color I prefer, so I think I'll leave the price alone. It's low enough

You've both been a huge help. Once I sign for the car I'll report in with the final numbers. Thanks!

The calculations are correct for the MSRP and CAP cost given..

It's water under the bridge now, but considering the $1200 in incentives on this model and that whopping $700 dealer fee, I would have wanted a bigger discount...

Still.. a nice car for not a lot of money.

You guys were a great help, thank you so much! This is where I ended up:

2015 Honda Civic Si Sedan / Regular Tires / No Navi
    MSRP $23910.00
    Less Discount $3500.00
    Plus Admin Fee $599.00
    Plus Tag/Title $34.00
Plus Acquisition $599.00 (Turns out they were being straight about the MF before, I had forgotten to add this in)
    Plus 5% Sales Tax

Lease offer based on the above w/ top tier credit:
$0.00 due at signing, 35 payments of $226.65 thereafter
    12,000 miles/year
    Residual $14346.00

Even if this isn't a rock-bottom deal, I'm happy with it; and it is bright-freaking orange. Sweet.

    Thanks again!

The dealer I worked with has been great so far; really above board. They tried to make a reasonable profit off the line (which is their job after all), and took negotiating well (which I couldn't have done without your help!)

I know this isn't the place to advertise by any means, but if anyone in the northeast needs a friendly, reasonable Honda dealer, I'd be happy to share contact information privately. I was very happy with how I was treated.

    Thanks again!

.00030 MF and 52% residual. $1450 lease cash.

I'd love to see a breakdown of the CAP cost, because that's cheaper than the calculations, which is surprising.

I think you can get a better deal on an SI coupe, but those might be stickshift only?

Thats a fantastic deal jmulherin. You should be my representative next time I negotiate a lease :) I leased an LX for $1000 down, $230 a month including sales tax. Lesson learned!

That's still not bad. It's a good price for a good car. Knowing Honda resale values, you may very well be able to sell yours at the end of the lease and recoup a portion of your money, or even dive out of the lease early if you really want something different. You can do WAY worse than a sub $250 payment with only a grand down, no matter what you drive. :D

    Enjoy your car!

@kyfdx here is the revised breakdown with cap cost. Unfortunately, the bottom numbers are cut off :( Btw, I can only drive auto...trust me!

As in the other quote for the Accord, they are now showing you every number. Looks like a good quote.. Pick the one you like the best.

    Hi Kyfdx,

I was hoping to find out the money factor and residual for a Civic EX-L, 36month lease for 10K and 12K miles?

    Thanks for your help!

57% for 36/12. No 10k leases for Honda.

What at state is this? There are two regions, each with a different MF.

This may be a old age Civic they are stuck with so they are willing to take a hit.

It's a coupe....not good sellers at all compared to sedans.

It's an EX with leather....really a car few people want.

It has NAVI...Since most smart phones have this they are even less popular than in the past.

So, yes, it this car fits the bill, I would jump ALL OVER it!

Another thing to consider is the fact since the 2016's are almost due to arrive, the residuals on the 2015's
    will continue to drop.

That Civic is a car few stores would order. Hopefully they really have one in stock!

@isellhondas it's a 2015 so I was hoping for a great lease at $248 mo vs 2016 price (can I do better?). I'm not into leather, just want XM radio and I believe the Navi is the only one that has it. Here is the bottom half of the statement I received today (I'm not sure why they can't give me the whole statement, it's very confusing to me). Sorry for the the last two, I can't seem to delete them.
