So I went to Nissan dealer last night in Ft Lauderdale to negotiate a selling price on the 2015 Pathfinder SL w/ premium package (4x2) MSRP $ 41,870. The dealer website had a particular model that was listed at $ 6700 discount which included a $2500 NMAC cash rebate. So I further negotiated and got the discount up to $ 7500 and they agreed. As soon as I mentioned that I wanted to lease, they retracted the offer and said that the NMAC cash rebate is not applicable to leasing and the max rebate they can offer is $ 1500 + max dealer discount of $ 4200.
I was hoping to snag this lease with $ 7500 discount and an additional $ 1500 lease rebate. Can the dealers not apply the $2500 cash rebate to leases or I am being given the run around on this? Where can I find the fine print on these rebates?

Some rebates are for purchase only, others for lease only. Cannot be combined. Looks like that's what you've encountered.
Still, $5700 off on a $42K vehicle is a decent discount.
Hi, I coming out of a lease on a '13 Altima with 6 payments remaining at $309/mo. What are the numbers for Illinois on a 3/36 at 15K on the Pathfinder 4x4 SV? Here are the numbers given to me by the dealer, is this a good deal? The deal terminates my current lease. Thank you!

.00003 and 55% for 36/15. Using your MSRP and Adjusted Cap numbers, I get a payment of $363.18 - hey, look at that! Same as the dealer quote.
Only way to make it better is to negotiate a better selling price, but you're already getting over $5K off sticker.

I did a 36 month lease on a 2015 Rogue in December and the emissions light won't turn off, so I contacted my salesperson and also told him while I waited for it to be fixed I wanted to look at the Pathfinder. He, of course, now wants to lease me the Pathfinder tomorrow when I bring it in. I don't NEED a Pathfinder but I would like the extra size and room. I am in Texas and the Rogue is the second vehicle I have leased from this dealership. Always low miles, no issues. My question is, is there a penalty for "trading it in" early or is there even an incentive since I just leased a vehicle with money down only 7 months ago? My payment on the Rogue is $299/month. I don't want to come out of pocket, since I just did 7 months ago. Thinking mid-higher $300s for the Pathfinder upgrade. Is that reasonable?

There are two deals here - one to lease the Pathfinder, the other to trade in the Rogue. Call NMAC and find out what the payoff is on the Rogue. There will be a specific number. Then, determine the trade in value. Can use the tools here at Edmunds, or you can head over to the "real world trade in values" discussion here in the forums. Chances are, you will have negative equity in the lease, which the dealer will be more than happy to roll into the lease on the Pathfinder. Not a good idea, if you ask me. Every $1000 of negative equity adds $28/mo to your new lease payment.
For the new lease, we'd need to know the MSRP, the selling price, the lease term (I assume 36 months) and the miles per year.
Not sure that you'd get a tax credit in Texas; I do know that even on leases, sales tax is applied to the entire selling price.
Get the Rogue looked at (and hopefully fixed) and stay the course. That would probably be your best option.

Thanks for the input. Two good things, the emissions light "should" just be a reset and we are happy with the Rogue and certainly don't need to upgrade. I will see if they are open to a deal up front or if they want to play games. Either way I will be happy. If I end up doing a deal with the Pathfinder, I will update.
Just a follow up on my previous comment/question above. I leased my 2015 Rogue SV about 7 months ago in December: $1000 at signing & $299/month. The emissions light ended up just being a reset (hopefully won't come back on). I told them I wanted essentially the same vehicle/package but in the Pathfinder SV. MSRP roughly $34K and I was willing to raise my payments to a max $400 with first month due at signing only. They seemed interested, but their final offer was $1000 at signing and $500/month, primarily because they said i had negative equity in the Rogue still and they didnt really want to budge on the price of the Pathfinder. Obviously, since I didn't "need" the Pathfinder and only wanted to see what they had to offer, I left with my Rogue with the emissions light currently working properly (off). Just for anyone who may be wondering.

I can't say I'm surprised by how much negative equity you have in your Rogue lease ... I tried the same thing a year ago with my Elantra GT lease and couldn't get the numbers to work for me either.

Selling price? Break down of the $2500?
On the surface, $393/mo for a truck that stickers at $45K looks good ... but the devil is in the details.
If you've signed and taken delivery, just enjoy it for the next 3 years.
Why all the obscurity by dealers. I want to know what is considered a good lease for the pathfinder SV living in NY with all fees rolled in (including taxes). I was currently offered $350 +600 for fees a month for 36/12k. If this is good price then I will take it, otherwise would it be worth to waiting till next month in the hopes of getting a way better deal, in your experience? I was told by the leasing company, that if I wait till next month there's no guarantee I will be able to find a SV model of certain colors by his dealer and I will end up paying more because I will only be able to get the upgraded models. Thank you in advance

Why all the obscurity? So, they can get you to pay a higher price.

Looking to get possible payments for a Pathfinder SV 4WD. MSRP $35,565 and using Truecar price of $31,461. This would be in Indiana. 36/12k, preferably 0 down but I'd like to also see $1,000 down. Thanks!!!

I would think the deals are as good as they're going to get on the 2015's. Not sure that supplier pricing will be any better than negotiating on your own.
Hi everyone - I'm working with a dealership in Nebraska on a 2015 Pathfinder SL 4x4 with Premium Package (sticker of $42k). Two questions -
1. Can you provide the MF and RV for this model in this region @ 36/12k? 2. Should I continue to push for $7k off MSRP or is a $6k discount a good deal?
Comments
I was hoping to snag this lease with $ 7500 discount and an additional $ 1500 lease rebate. Can the dealers not apply the $2500 cash rebate to leases or I am being given the run around on this? Where can I find the fine print on these rebates?
Still, $5700 off on a $42K vehicle is a decent discount.

MSRP: $39,800
OOP: $2000 ( Including 1st month, DMV, Bank Fee, Cap Cost)
36 x 15k

Monthly Payment : $359.40
What do you think ? The dealership said they are losing nearly $2k on this deal.
Not sure I'd believe the comment about losing $2k. If you're comfortable with the selling price...
