What are the MF and residuals for a 2015 Q7 TFSI (gasoline engine), Prestige trim, 48 month lease, 12,000 miles per year?
Dealer is offering, on a MSRP of $69,360, to discount by $8,138 and then apply $2,000 in factory rebates for a net capitalized cost of $59,222. I would have to pay $2,500 in drive off payments (did not detail breakdown of the drive off payments, but would include lease fee, paperwork fee, title, etc and presumably some profit for them or a cap cost reduction for the leftover) with a MF of 0.00174 and a residual of 43% for a 48 month lease with 12000 miles per year. 8.00% tax rate in California. Monthly payment (inclusive of taxes) of $840.21.
Based on my calcs, assuming the $2,500 does not go toward cap cost reduction, those inputs should arrive at a monthly payment of $828.77. Not sure why his numbers are higher than mine, unless he is using a different MF.
Any sense of whether this is a good deal? Thank you for any feedback!

Your calculations are correct, but that's only off by $12/mo. We are just guessing on whether the $2500 covers everything, or if there is CAP reduction left over. Unless they break it down, you really won't know for sure. But, that's only $550 total. Get an exact breakdown of the numbers and the answer will probably be apparent.
I'll note that the 42 month MF is .00131 and 46% residual. If you want the shorter term, it only adds about $2/mo. to the payment.
I figured out the difference. The dealer was adding $595 to the capitalized cost for a LoJack add on. I found out that this is an add on that you can opt out of by just checking a box in the finance office. The sales guys will tell you that you can't take the LoJack out which is true but you can opt out of activating it.

My response may be too late, but the deal seems pretty solid now that I know you are adding tax to the cap cost.
I asked for a one time lease payment quote. Was initially offered $25832 but then negotiated that to $24700 (including tax, doc fee, title and registration and all payments)

Can someone please post the MF/Residuals for 36/36k for the Q7 TDI Premium Plus?
Also, I believe there is an $1850 option package credit for the warm weather plus package. Is there an additional incentive for the premium plus? I believe the dealer mentioned an additional $2k credit.

Be polite and tell them you won't sign a deal with an inflated MF. They know what the base rate is; no need to negotiate it with them.
And, reach out to several Audi dealers - it only takes one to make a deal on your terms.

.00079 and 54% for 36/12. We would need to know the cap Cost in order to model the payment. Texas applies sales tax to the entire selling price of the vehicle, which makes leases pretty expensive
Is Audi offering any incentives/rebates on the 2015 MY Q7 lease deal shown here? I understand they are skipping the 2016 MY for 2017. Also, what would the MF be for a 730 FICO (is this A tier)?
Model: 2015 Q7 Premium Lease: 36 month/10K mi/yr Purchase price: $50,867 Downpyt: $4,099 (includes 1st mo pyt $499 and $695 acq. fee) Mo. lease pyt: $499 Total payments: $17,964 ($499 * 36) Purchase option: $28,014 (55%) Includes $500 bonus cash
Did I calculate the straight line depreciation correctly below? $50,867 - $500 bonus - $2,905 deposit) - $28,014 residual = $19,448 $19,448 / 36 mo = $540.22 (but lease deal is $499/month)

I figure MSRP at $50,934 - is your purchase price inclusive of sales tax?
Need to know the net cap cost (negotiated price + taxes & fees - down payment) in order to model the payment.
@Michaell are there any additional incentives offered by Audi on the Q7's (in addition to the $500/$100 on Premium+/Prestige models)? I don't own an Audi so I can't take advantage of the Customer Loyalty rebate.

Hi, in the market for another car, this time the Q7. Credit is 795 so A tier. The deal advertised in Miami (sales tax 6.5%) is:
MSRP $49,600 $4160 total due at signing including tax 7500 miles per year 36 months $479/month
This is on the Premium model, so i need your help:
1. What is the MF and residual for the Premium model? 2. What is the MF and residual for the Premium Plus model? 3. What is the MF and residual for the S-Line Prestige model?
Going shopping tomorrow so any response is highly appreciated!

36: $660/mo.+tax 42: $644.mo.+tax
Of course, we don't have any allowances for acquisition fees, taxes, or what amount is due at signing. You need those details to see if they are marking anything up. Or, you could ask them to disclose the money factor they are using.
Great discussion and timely. I am in the market for a lease myself and I am being offered the following terms:
Q7 Premium Plus >MSRP $58,105 >Sale Price $54,039 >39 Mos lease/15k >MF 0.00149 >Residual 50% >lease is $764.95 per month plus tax >$2500 down at signing includes start up fees, first payment, and registration fees
Based on the MF seen here this appears high...no? Credit scores 795 highest and 757 the lowest with transition. Any suggestions/comments much appreciated. Thanks.

I'll note that the 42 month MF is .00131 and 46% residual. If you want the shorter term, it only adds about $2/mo. to the payment.
