I have internet offers for both cars above. Any advice?
I'm turning in my 2012 3 yr lease in on a lx coupe, and I think I may have had made an off deal 3 yrs ago. I have low miles @ 22000, and my trade in value is breaking even to what I owe in excellent condition. Because I don't know what I'm doing, I want to make sure this next lease is a really good one. I really appreciate this forum, Thank You!
4th of July Sale Offers good until Monday - I'm in CA:
2015 Honda Accord LX-S Coupe (image attached is revised with $609 due at signing. Cap cost is higher than selling, is this a problem?) $25,445 MSRP $21,180 4th of July Sale Price** $246mo (includes taxes and fees $609 due at signing) $265mo (includes taxes and fees)
2015 Honda Accord EX-L Coupe (waiting for lease breakdown) $29,315 MSRP $24,946 4th of July Sale Price**
** Your price quote is valid for 48 hours and does not include Dealer Installed Accessories, Tax, License, or Doc Fees. We reserve the right to modify this quote to correct arithmetic errors. Incentive and pricing programs are subject to change by the Manufacturer without notice. Quoted price includes destination and delivery fees.
Your net CAP is the selling price plus the acquisition fee. Your CAP can't be lower than the selling price, unless you are making a downpayment.
The numbers and calculations are correct.
They want me to pay $609.83, is this not considered a down payment? Do you think this is a good lease? Thanks!
No.. it's not a downpayment. Take a good look at the document. It has every single piece of information on it. Just add up the columns and you'll see what your $609.83 is for. It's not a made-up number. It is the sum of the amounts listed above it. Same for the CAP cost. It's the sum of the two numbers above it.
That is one of the better lease documents that I've seen. Get out your calculator and study it. I couldn't add one single piece of information to it.

The only way to improve on the deal is to negotiate a better selling price - not something we track.
Try the "Accord Prices Paid" discussion and see what @brian125 has to say about your pricing.

.00029 MF and 52% residual. $1500 lease cash.
You can look up invoice by using the Make/Model/Year tabs at the top of the page.... then, subtract the $1500 incentive.
If the selling price is the CAP cost, then I get $323/mo. Adding a $595 acquisition fee, gives me $339/mo.
I would roll the taxes in.. Just pay 1st payment and DMV fees upfront. If someone totals your car within the first few months, NY isn't going to rebate your sales tax, but if it's financed in the lease, GAP insurance will take care of it.
The calculations are correct. If you are satisfied with the selling price, then it's good.
Hi, received a quote from dealership in AZ on 2015 Accord V6 EXL, no navi: In the Quote was: 51% residual and .00029 MF, I was seeing on previous forum discussions residual being 54%, can someone tell me how do I verify this? Or do states have different residual rates? Lease is for 36 months/12,000 miles

36/12 residual on the Accord V6 EX-L, no nav is 53%. Residual numbers are national and the dealer cannot modify them.
Hey I just got back from a honda dealership and was quoted $325/month for 36 months/12k with $249 out the door cost for an 2015 accord ex-l without nav. Is that a good deal?

Went to the dealer this weekend and got some numbers on the Accord LX Sport. The dealer gave me these figures then said I would have to pay a 595 acquisition fee on top of all this out of pocket. My question to him was why is it not listed when I clearly said I wanted to lease. Isn't the doc fee the acquisition fee??? There monthly payment they were telling me was it would be 268 but on my calculator I could not get those numbers I was getting lower. Can someone confirm. Thanks

The acquisition fee is set by the bank and is not negotiable. The doc fee is set by the dealer; they'll tell you "they have to charge it to everyone" but you can counter by offering $699 less in your price to mitigate that amount.
Hi There, Would you be able to provide my with the Residual and MF for Accord Hybrid Base and EX-L for NY Also interested in Accord LX and Sport...is it the same Residual and MF as Hybrids? Lastly, is there any lease incentive or rebate available? Thanks,

Correct, 12K residuals are 2% higher than 15K residuals.
The quote is for a 2015 accord LX Coupe automatic in CA, $266.70 mo. no money down, including taxes. Quote #2 is the detailed breakdown that I requested. Are there any important numbers missing, what do you think? Thanks!
It looks pretty good.. a few details to be aware of. Not that it's bad, just so you know exactly what you are paying.
1) Nowhere in either of the "detailed" quotes do they mention the CAP cost. They give a selling price up top, but that doesn't include everything that's in the lease payment.
2) The upfront charges aren't really "waived".. they are added back into the CAP cost to be amortized over the remaining 35 payments. Nothing wrong with that, but you are still paying them. (plus, this means paying tax on government fees, which wouldn't happen if you paid them upfront).
3) There is also a $595 acquisition fee in the CAP cost.
4) .00029 MF and 54% residual. $1500 dealer lease cash.
If it were me, I'd pay the $653 upfront and take the lower payment. (but, it's only $31 difference in total, over the whole lease.. lol)

The dealership just gave me the bottom half of the lease statement from above. I wanted to show all the numbers. Let me know if anything looks off or good. You have helped me greatly!
@tar4 here is the Leasify Deal Score from the free iPhone app. 8.2/10 is recommended. Everything looks good but the app flags fees because it is taking license fees into consideration which you can't really negotiate. The deal looks good.
Ok guys, this is my last lease to look over, it's for the 2015 EX coupe auto in CA. Do the numbers look good to you? @truman_r can you Leasify this, I can't find the app on my droid!
