Quick question. What does lease cash mean? Does it go towards the net capital cost? If so does Honda advertise this? Thanks!
Lease cash is a factory to dealer incentive; not advertised. Can be used to reduce the capital cost or to offset some of the up front costs associated with a lease.
Thank you. I'm debating between leasing now or waiting till the end of the year.
I can see the numbers for sport are 1500 lease cash and 53% residual and 0.00029 for 12000/36 mo
would you happen to have the numbers for LX and EX as well? Thank you in advance
36/12 on LX and EX sedan is .00029 and 56%. 36/12 on the Sport is 55%, not 53% - that is the 15K residual.
All Accords have .00029 MF and $1500 lease cash until Monday.

.00017 MF and 54% (Sport) or 51% (EX-L Coupe).
$1500 lease cash for both; extra $250 for the coupe.
Can't help you with pricing, especially TrueCar (!).
What is the breakdown of the $2000? Does that include NJ taxes?
Hi guys,
So I got a quote on Accord Ex 2015 sedan 12/36.
Just first payment down which is 265.
With the college grad, price goes down to 250.
Is this a good deal?
I live in NJ.
.00017 MF and 55% residual. $1500 lease cash.
Is it good? Don't know. What is the MSRP and selling price?
Hi folks, so here are the details of a no money down lease that I closed on this weekend Chicago burbs
Vehicle: 2015 Honda accord EX-L (4dr 4cy BLK/BLK no navigation)
FYI…credit score is 842
MSRP: $29,240 Negotiated price $24,660 (was targeting $24,495 based on reading this forum) Agreed upon selling price $25,098.27 Taxes: 810.12 (7.00%) Acquisition Fee: 595.00 Dealer Doc 168.43 Gross Cap Cost: $26,696.82 Cap Cost Reduction: N/A Adjusted Cost: $26,696.82 Vehicle rent: 258.12 Base of Payment: $11,457.74 Residual Value: $15,497 (53%) Money factor: .00017 36 month 12k yr lease 36 monthly payments: $ 318.27 First months Payment rolled in deal $318.27 Title rolled in deal $95.00 Registration rolled in deal $25.00 35 monthly payments remaining: $ 318.27 Total of monthly payments $11, 457.72
Felt sort of OK with the deal, however there were a two things really bothered me.
1. Originally negotiated a price $24,660…but when I said no money down….they added/rolled the first months payment, title and reg fee ($438.27) onto the selling price. This seemed strange to me but It wasn’t worth wasting another Saturday fighting over $400 bucks. Shouldn’t these items have been added as capitalized costs? Based on my original calculations I felt like they baked in an additional $10 bucks into the monthly payment somehow..which nets out to about $400 bucks? My calcs had the payment around $308-$310 a month. Can anyone please explain what they did? FYI, I argued with them so much about this they threw in a set of all weather floor mats.
2. Seems like Honda is charging a $350.00 disposition fee now?..argued against it but they wouldn’t budge. Never seen this before on any of my 5 prior leases.

1. The MF on $0 due at signing deals is lowered to compensate 2. Disposition fees are becoming more common with leases
Sorry, not sure what this means? "1. The MF on $0 due at signing deals is lowered to compensate" Did they do something shady with the numbers? how would you rate this deal?

On a zero due lease sign you're rolling all of your fees, including the first payment. Your additional $10.00 or so per month is your first payment -- there's still 36 payments, you're just rolling #1 into the lease rather than paying it on day one. Your first payment in 30 days will actually be your second payment.

I'm guessing one is with Nav, one without.
52% for no nav, 50% with nav, on a 36/12 lease. MF and lease cash are the same for both.

Lease cash isn't published; it's a factory to dealer incentive. Use that knowledge to negotiate your best price.
Are there lease numbers for 2015 Accords for November yet? Interested in Sport RV and MF at 12k and 15k. Also EXL v6 RV and MF with 12k and 15k. (Lease cash availability for either?). Thanks for making this information accessible. It is greatly appreciated.
