Hi, I think I met an outrageous dealer and would like to ask for opinion. He was asking for 304/month for a Accord Sport 36 months 12k with 1500 down payment. I've got several questions: 1. I have 780 FICO score but he says I don't quality for 1st tier coz I'm on work visa. My work visa is valid till 2018. Has any one ever leased on work visa? 2. What is the average range for monthly payment for Accord LX and Accord Sport, assuming a tax rate of 7%, 36 months, 12k, 1500 down payment?

I think residency status does impact credit-worthiness, though to what degree I cannot say.
If you read back through the last few pages of this discussion, you will see the typical deals others have been able to make. Somewhere between $225-275 on average.
Also, I heard that Accord 2016 is gonna come out this August. Will the price for Accord 2015 drop by then?
Prices are already very low for the remaining 2015 Accords. What the problem is now is availability. If you want a specific color combination and / or trim level, it may be difficult to find.

Michaell, thanks for your quick response. Just to clarify, $225-275 is for sport, right? How about LX? Thanks again!

Thank you so much! Going to check one out today and was told $250/mo with 0 down.
Read back through the last page or two of this discussion to see what prices folks have been able to negotiate and what monthly payment they end up with.
I can't seem to find any advertising for the lease cash, only an advertised deal for $240/mo with 0 down. How do I know for certain that there is the $1500 lease cash? Is the dealer obligated to tell me exactly what incentives and rebates are available from the manufacturer? Thanks for the help!

The lease cash is a factory to dealer incentive and not published. Dealer can choose to pass it along to the customer. Use the pricing tools at the top of the page (make / model / year) to determine your best price, then subtract the $1500 from it.
New to leasing and would like some opinions. Here is the offer I got in Florida
2015 Accord Sport Auto Term 36/12 MSRP 25,485 Selling price 20,900 MF .00029 RV 14,016 Monthly payments 259.02 plus 15.54 tax (6.0%)
If the selling price is the CAP cost, then I get $201/mo.+tax.
I'll guess the $595 acquisition fee is rolled into the CAP cost, but that still leaves another $1200 unaccounted for... A big Florida dealer fee? Something else?
EDIT: Okay, I see the printout now.... you rolled everything in. As I suspected... $795 doc fee.. Wow.

I guess "Wow" means the deal I got offered sucks. That what I though. What should I be asking them? They told me I have to pay $1,460.00 inception fees. MSRP on the car is 25485. I would like to have $230 payments.
I just asked dealer to lower total cap cost to $21,400. I believe this is the number needed in order for me achieve $230 payments. Please advise if this is unreasonable request for the $25485 MSRP car.

The dealer will let you know if it's unreasonable or not.
The "wow" comment by my co-host was for the doc fee of $795, not the overall deal.
Can I please have MF/residual for a 2015 Accord Touring Sedan in NV with 18K miles, 36 months?
.00029 MF and 48% residual for 36mo, 15K/yr. $1500 lease cash.
The extra 9K miles will reduce the residual by $0.15/mi., I think (-$1350).
Wow, only 48% residual? That is the worst I've seen...worse than any VW, Audi, or Caddy I've looked at with the same terms. Wonder why it is so low...
The Touring is the top trim level; in general, the higher the trim level, the worse the residual. It's expensive to residualize all the tech and other features, given that they'll probably be out of date by the time the lease expires.

Yeah I get that the top trims are generally the worst for residual, but 48% is heinous. The fact that I like cars in their top trims and drive 17-18K miles per year probably makes it less ideal to lease, but I do like having shiny new toys every few years and not have to worry about high mileage vehicles when the warranty expires.

Hi, I'm new to both this forum and to leasing a car here in the states, so be gentle. I'm interested in leasing the 2015 Honda Accord LX for 36 months. I'm in LA, and they currently offer a 36 month lease for $189/month +$1999 due on signing, or alternatively $0 down, and $240 per month. Can anyone advise if these deals are any good or whether I should wait for quarter end/holiday?

These are just "OK" deals as they are the national or regional offer. If you are good at negotiating, you should be able to do better.
We do not recommend making a down payment on a lease; if the car is stolen or totaled, you would lose that money.
You may be able to negotiate your best price at the end of the month or around the Labor Day holiday in September.
I can't find a General Leasing forum, so I'll ask the question here:
I've seen people online talking about getting a better deal on a 24 month lease than a 36 month lease. For every vehicle I've researched, the 24 month lease payments have been significantly more money than the 36 month lease payments, which makes sense to me based on the rate of depreciation over time. So how is it that people can get better deals on a 24 month lease? Every calculation I have done shows 24 month leases at least $100/month more than a comparable 36 month lease when factoring in the residuals for those time spans.

The only way a 24 month lease works better than 36 months is if the MF is significantly lower or the residual significantly higher. The only model I've seen that on is the Nissan Leaf.

I've never seen a different money factor for a 24 month versus 36 month lease, but that makes sense.

They do exist, but it's kind of rare. Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep often have a different MF for 24 month leases.
The sales was pushing hard to sell it coz its month end. Please let me know what you think. Thx!
$192/mo for a car that stickers at almost $24K is a great deal. Enjoy your new Honda!
New to leasing cars. I've done a little bit of homework which includes reading many of the treads on this topic.
Quick question: Why is the deal above considered a great deal, while the one listed below is not? The only difference i can note is $1000 less down and only $3/month more. It seems as though both members had similar deals, but one negotiated terms a little better. Thanks in advance!

Because, the first one is an actual offer, with all costs, taxes, fees accounted for. The 2nd one is an advertisement, with none of those costs figured in... and, not an actual offer.

Moonroof, better stereo, keyless entry and start, homelink... probably some more stuff.

what is the MF and RV of the 2015 4dr EX, 10k x 36/m ?
and 2015 EXL with navigation 4dr 10k X 36/m
Coupe RV is 2% lower than the sedan.
Honda does not offer 10K leases; 12K is the lowest mileage for which we have numbers.
36/12 numbers:
2015 Accord Coupe EX - 54%; EX-L - 52%; EX-L w/ Nav - 50%
MF is .00029 and there is $1500 lease cash available
