I've gone to a couple of dealers here Utah. So far, this is the deal I have been given:
2015 Accord LX CVT 36 m at 12k/year lease MSRP: $23,725 Negotiated Price: $20,467 (after $1500 incentive and negotiation) Residual: $13,286 MF: .00019 (.456%) Fees: $614.41 Registration: $289 Taxes: $1,442.28 (sales tax is 6.85%) Subtotal: $22,812.69 ( I assume the acquisition fee is rolled into total if not negotiated)
They say payments would be $265 - $275 a month (tax included). This is with nothing due up front but rather, rolled into the net cap. Does this look accurate? Should I be looking to get more information on something? Where can you see areas for negotiation?

I'm not certain, but I thought UT taxed the monthly payment in a lease, not calculate it all up front.
Read back through the last page or two on this forum; I think folks have been getting much better deals and much lower payments than you've been quoted.
The MF they quote assumes $0 out of pocket - that is, everything is rolled into the cap cost.
While I dont have all the details of a lease offer made by a dealer I have used before.. here is what they are offering me... sounds superb... can anyone confirm ?
2015 Accord Sport 36 Months 12K miles per year 0 down 218/month + Taxes
I do not plan to buy the car so I dont really care what the residual is. from whayt I see above this sounds as if it must be a good deal. Am I missing something ?

You're missing the lack of satellite radio in anything less than an ex-l.

Looks pretty good, although you should care what the residual is because that affects the lease payment.

Actually, the residual is set by the bank so there isn't anything you can do about it.
What you should care about is the selling price relative to MSRP - that is the biggest factor in determining what your lease payment will be.
Any numbers for the 2016 models yet? I didn't see a forum. Also, does Honda have disposition fees now? I know they (and Acura) never used to but I'm not sure if that changed recently.

No 2016 Accord lease numbers just yet.
I don't see any disposition fees; doesn't mean there aren't any.

I am hoping that all of us will get a great deal. Good luck shopping. Hopefully you guys can get a better deal. Use this info as your guide.
remember to keep posting, what goes around comes around.
The tax charged is only 130.02, it appears that some sort of tax credit has been applied. That being said. I think the true price paid is around 1100 less of 24825 since tax lease in tx is charged 100% of selling price.

We've seen a lot of tax credits in Texas, lately.. Infiniti mostly, but maybe Honda has some to use, as well.
Can I get MF and Residual on the following. I think 12K miles is the lowest so that is what I will be going with. EX-L V6 and EX-L V6 with Nav for both sedan and coupe.

Where can I find information on the lease cash to show them if they ask? 2nd would it work if I negotiate a buy price for say $27K, then tell them I want to lease and because of the lease cash, I would have it for $25.5K?

1. Lease cash is a factory to dealer incentive, so not published anywhere 2. You can try; can't guarantee if it will work or not
I've been considering a 2015 Honda Accord LX w/CVT. One local dealer has a three year/12,000 lease for $189, nothing down, no security... I thought I'd also check out the cost to lease a 2016 Accords since they are starting to arrive. The dealer doesn't have the info posted yet, but the 2016 Accord LX w/CVT is more than $400 per month according to the Honda website. List price for both cars is identical.
Am I missing something? I understand the dealers are discounting the 2015s to clear them out and that discounts on the 2016s will not be as aggressive. And I know I'll get a better lease on the 2015 than a 2016. But I'm shocked at a difference of more than $200 per month.
I'd appreciate any feedback and guidance those of you who are more experienced with leasing are willing to share.

Lots of incentives on the 2015's that don't exist on the 2016 models. And, the discounts from sticker won't be as great, either. And, the MF (interest rate) will probably be higher. Combined, that accounts for the much larger payment.
And, frankly, the dealer would rather blow out a 2015 model anyway.
I'm considering my first lease.

Zero down & $189 per month sounds like an incredible deal. I've been looking for week, & can't find any where near that good of deal...yet.
Wilde Honda in Wisconsin is advertising a 36/12 lease for a 2015 Accord EXL sedan: $227/month with only $219 plus TT&L due at signing. Too good to be true?

Can't say without the specifics.. You never know at the end of the year.
What's your take on leasing a 2015 Sport in the last week of September (if I can find one)? Is late September in general a good time or should I wait for better prices on 2016 models late December?

Your comment hits the mark -- not sure how many 2015's will be on the lots 4 weeks from now. Folks are getting some insanely good deals at the moment, so inventory will be thin (or gone) by that time.
Can't tell you what the numbers will look like for the 2016's 4 months from now.
Quick question. What does lease cash mean? Does it go towards the net capital cost? If so does Honda advertise this? Thanks!
Lease cash is a factory to dealer incentive; not advertised. Can be used to reduce the capital cost or to offset some of the up front costs associated with a lease.
