My Pacifica already had the full sized spare but I was able to work the cargo group into my accessory list. That was pretty straight forward though and I know some factory options just aren't available after the fact. My guess is that the space designed for the spare tire can accommodate either size.
I've put about 3,000 miles on now and have been very pleased. I was able to load about 10 hours of DVDs in the changer for the kids on our vacation and it was smooth sailing! Anyway, if anyone thinks the Pacifica is over priced (it's not) then they ought price out a Toureg...
Midnight Blue/ Slate Grey, Fully, 100% fully loaded. MSRP of 41235 Invoice of 37548.
Dealer offer of 36499, and trade offer was 1250 over kelly blue book...
I cant imagine the deal getting any sweeter than this, gonna close the door tomorrow, hope the dealer doesnt do anything skeezy....

Review your vehicle
We drove 250 miles yesterday, 200 today, and so far, near perfection... Maybe not perfect but as close as I have ever been in my own vehicle...
Near Misses:
1:outdated DVD for Nav. I shouldnt have to burn my one upgrade coupon just to get mapping in the area of the dealer...
2: No backlites in the cruise control buttons
3: (sarcasm on) Radio needs a few more buttons!(sarcasm off) That thing is an ergonomic miss...
4: Why does hood need a prop rod. An 18K VW doesnt, why a 41K Chrysler...
5: Where should the headphones and remote go, since they dont fit in the console, where?
Home Runs:
1: HID Lites, thats what its supposed to look like at night. Get these if you can
2: Nav System. Also got it right, in the right spot
3: DVD system with a DVD changer!, so beats the system that hang the player in the display area.
4: Seat comfort. Im 6 foot and high 200's and it just works right...
overall extremely pleased, from the looks of others prices, I may have been able to do a bit better, but in all the other cars over the years, this is the one that I have NO buyers remorse. I got a good deal, the dealer got a good deal, and damn, it is a fun and good looking car... It Rocks, Now replace Celine with Delbert Mcclinton, and you got something...
I would appreciate any answers to my questions!!
The sticker on this baby was nearly 41k, but we got 36.4k, plus nearly 2k towards getting out of our current lease. Since the current lease was applied as a trade, we effectively got the vehicle for 34k - seven thousand below sticker (since we saved on tax)!
We are tickled about he vehicle, although we are missing the Nav DVD case, cargo net, and rear scuff guard (all of which I expect the dealer will make good on.) If only this car had a bit more power, I'd be completely smitten ...
We had been considering the Volvo XC90, but this deal was simply too good to pass up!
I am trying to get out of a Lexus RX300 4-year lease (15 months left) because we need more seating capacity and the Pacifica sounds like a nice choice (I still like the Lexus a lot though)
We told the dealership where we first saw the Pacifica that we would like to buy it around $36000 out the door (Tax and license included). They offered $36700 out the door (Tax and license included) and we took it. It's only been a week but we enjoy the car. Classy, very safe, smooth driving, wide vehicle, NAV is great, DVD is reeping benefits already with my kid, and the memory system for seats and radio is cool. Stuff you get if you bought a Luxury car.
This was the fully loaded model AWD (MSRP 40670)(Dealer mark-up $2989 or Asking price $43659). The only thing missing is the Extra bright headlamps. The color that we wanted did not come with it. That feature was at the bottom of our must have list anyways.

And let's get back to the subject of Chrysler Pacifica: Prices Paid & Buying Experience!

The demonstrator program started roughly two months ago. Dealers were able to discount designated demos $3,000 below invoice with Chrysler bearing the discount. Most of these cars have been sold, however by calling dealers you can still find some, mostly the loaded ones. I purchased a silver Pacifica, MSRP $38,975 for $31,943 or $6,852 under MSRP. It was discounted an extra $1,000 because it was a true demonstrator with 3,200 miles on it. My son and I drove it to a Miami Dolphin game and he told me that he didn't see why people wanted more power. We were doing 85 mph and it was rock solid. Incidentally my son is a deputy sheriff and is used to fast cars. He was so impressed that the following week he also bought one. A beautiful Butane Blue, MSRP $40,510 costing him $34,453, $6,057 below MSRP. He didn't get the $1,000 off because his demo only had 124 miles on it. The demos are still out there and are worth the search!!!
- No loaners when you bring the car in for service, the 3 yr bumber to bumber warranty does not cover most regular maintenance, and despite what your read, there are not a lot of Pacificas sitting in dealer lots. Add to that sorry looking dealerships with service bays that remind me of the Fonz from the "Happy Days".
I am trying to buy a fully loaded AWD with black exterior and light leather interior - up to now it has been impossible to find one.
And I thought everyone said that (a) Chrysler is upping their brand into the lux area with new entries and (b) the Pacifica is not selling well ...
I even had one dealer tell me that Pacificas are selling like hot cakes and to get mine I might have to pay over MSRP and get a three month waiting list.
In my opinion, Daymler is treating Chrysler as the poor cousin in the family, and not investing heavily in the brand. I certainly have not seen any difference in Chrysler since the merger.
So what gives ?
Waiting list?
LOL...
Friend just bought at $3500 under MSRP on FWD. Could have had better discount on higher-priced AWD.
Just find a dealer who wants to deal on what they have on their lot and tell them when they come up with a Black/Light interior like you want, "CALL ME."
My friend had the salesman treating him very well. They had to get the car from a remote dealer by purchase rather than trading. Still discounted.
I think I've seen one like you want at local dealer when looking to help friend in city 50 miles away. So it shouldn't be too hard to find for them. Escecially since you want AWD; but most of them are loaded with extras.
2014 Malibu 2LT, 2015 Cruze 2LT,
In mid June, per a letter I have, Chrysler offered free loaners for the first 3yrs/36K miles to all Pacifica and Crossfire purchasers and lessee's. About a week later, I received the 'official' Service Contract that provides evidence of coverage.
According to the contract, I'm entitled to a loaner for any mechanical or maintenance service.
You might want to ask about it.
They have made an offer at DEALER INVOICE.
They are also throwing in LIFETIME oil & filter change.
The only hitch, is that there are NO Pacifica's with
light taupe interior in Ontario or Quebec, so this will be a factory order available in 6-8 weeks.
Is this a good deal - should I go for it ?
I am very happy with the outcome. We can't wait.
Is anyone getting deals under factory invoice ?

And why order? All dealers around me have ~30 Pacificas on their lots.
AutomotiveNews reports today that chrysler now has $3,000 rebates on Pacifica. cheap, cheap, cheap
I am looking at a loaded Pacifica now that has been on the dealers lot since June. They recently made it a 'demo' with a $3k rebate in addition to the one Chrysler is offering. The car has 67 miles on it. Sounds like a good deal but... it was built in May of '03.
DaimlerChrysler Canada appreciates your interest in the 2004 Chrysler
Pacifica. As you may be aware, this model was introduced earlier this
calendar year as a 2004 model. It is not unusual for production
adjustments to occur routinely in the course of a model year, including
progression to introduce features which were always intended but could
not be included in the initial production run. Following a hiatus for
retooling, production of other vehicle models has now moved into the
2004 model year as well. This routine model year change appears to be
what your information refers to.
Thanks!
The dealership we went to was a 5 star, and honestly, I thought they treated me just as well as the MBZ dealership when I bought my E-Class, and WAY better than Audi when I bought my A4.
The 5 Star dealer here in Branford CT was also great in finding our car and giving us a price that was in line with Edmund's TMV. The buying experience was great.
My wife and I just recently "discovered" the Pacifica, and took a test drive in one a few days ago.
Absolutely love it!
Now to the dilemma part.....We are right in the middle of moving to a new home we had built, and so it will be several months before we can finacially swing the Pacifica.
I understand Chrysler has shut down the assembly line until early next year, and then production will resume with MAYBE the 2005 model Pac....
Does anyone here, have any idea what(if any)changes will take place on the Pacifica??
I understand the deals right now are great, but we just cannot pull off a new mortgage AND a new car note!
I'm hoping we will get a nice auto, but won't have to pay through the nose in a few months!! 8-0
TIA!!
