I was told that I can lock in the current rate, but if the rate is better when the car arrives, I can get the better rate. Audi Loyalty incentive will be based upon the current offer when the car arrives. Also, the residual could change. kinda nerve racking.

Usually, you can either lock the lease program, or you can't.

So, money factor and residual are locked, or they aren't. If they have to use the residual for the new program, then you can be certain they will have to use the money factor that goes along with it.

I've never heard that Audi lets you lock in a program (like BMW), but maybe they can. Over three months to get an ordered car? Shewwww... that's a long time.

It is a long time.  I confirmed and then reconfirmed that the lease term I accepted will be the worst case scenario.  Meaning if the rates and residual are better when the car arrives, I will get the better deal, if the current lease program is worse when the car arrives, then I get the lease program that I was offered originally.

That's great.. but, I think the whole program has to be taken. They won't let you pick MF from one program and residual from another. But, as long as you can pick the program, you are covered.

Check back when it shows up and let us know how it goes.

Exactly.  I will get to choose the better program of the two.  And yes, the mf and resid are not interchangeable. Will definitely keep everyone posted.

so I got my .000911 mf, I got my 10% off msrp. I have to order the car, car wont be here till February. Am I correct in my understanding that everything could change when the car actually arrives?

Any tips on getting 10% off MSRP? This was for a 2016? My local dealership is offering 6% standard, I suspect I could get 7-8% off, but we will see. I am coming from BMW too, but unfortunately no incentives on S3 for making the switch to Audi. Thanks!

I just asked for it.   I guess it was a mixture between my persistence and the dealers willingness at that particular time.  This is also my second car from this Audi dealership.

So here is the offer from one dealer - I have another dealer who's going to try and beat it...will keep you guys posted.

    2016 Audi S3 Premium Plus - 36 month lease / 7.5K miles
    Monsoon Grey Metallic
    Black Optic Package
    Red Brake Calipers
    Total MSRP - $45,475
    Negotiated Sale Price - $41,377
    Money Factor: .00091

Equity on trade-in - $2,000 (used as Cap Cost reduction)

I agree - but, there are other up front costs you will be responsible for (bank fee, dealer fee, first payment) - might as well use the trade equity for that, instead.

As is, I get a payment of $466.14/mo + tax with $0 down

I know dealers monkey around with MF all the time but aren't the residuals non negotiable. I've been told the MF is anywhere from .00091 to .002 and the residual for 36/10k is 53 or 55. Just doesn't seem right

Does anyone know for sure what the MF and residual is for 2016 S3 Prem Plus 36/10k and 36/12k in Florida
    Thanks,

Prestige and Premium Plus have different residuals, so even though you are looking for Premium Plus, a dealer might quote a Prestige unit, since that's what they have in inventory.
Also, the "base" residual quote is for 15K/yr, so some dealers may be quoting that.

Premium Plus residual is 58%/57% for 10K/12K, 36 months
Prestige residual is 55%/54% for 10K/12K, 36 months.

Base MF is .00091 for either model.

Subtract 2% from the residual and add .00020 to the MF for 39 months.

These are the numbers I just got from the local Audi dealer for a 2016 Audi S3 Premium Plus.

There is a $3k roll over from a car I am trading in and trying to get out of. These numbers were before me telling him I would put enough toward the lease to offset the rollover.

But other than that, I feel like the MF (.00227) is high for a 48/10k lease. The 51% residual seems fine though. And I I can't read what the label is for the $1,108 number on there, because this picture was sent to me.

Can any of you guys provide some insight on these numbers? Also, when I was doing some estimating with the lease calculator on Audi.com, the numbers were WAY different, is that normal? And can Audi dealerships do the 7,500mi lease since it is offered by Audi? I drive <5k miles a year.

Quick note, no credit history was pulled for these numbers.

48 months is not a real good lease term for Audi .. the 36 month MF is .00073, and the 36/10 residual for S3 Prem + is 57%.

Using the MSRP and net cap cost from your deal sheet, I get a payment of $736/mo with 6% tax included for 36 months.

I'm guessing the $1108 are fees that are being added into the cap cost (dealer fee, etc.).

If you back out the $3000 of negative equity from the cap cost, the payment comes down about $80-90/mo for 36 months.

Thanks for the fast reply! I really appreciate it. I figured the $1108 was extra fees of some sort.

What's the sweet spot right now for lowest payment? 39/7.5k?

MF for lease terms 36 months and shorter are .00020 less than the MF for terms 39 months and longer.

36/7.5 would be your sweet spot.

I'm locking down a deal on an S3 after the VW guys would not budge on a $3k markup on one of their 15 Golf Rs on the lot. LOL.

Im in the home stretch but I know the Audi dealers are raising the MF on me, even though they are playing dumb. Can you confirm my pretax payment please.

    MSRP: $45075
    Cap Cost: $42058.62
    MF: .00073
    Residual: 57%

    36 month/10k miles.

    Do you get $518.22?

    Thanks!
