I'm looking into the Honda Pilot Touring Version.
I'm interested in leasing.
I'm curious which version makes more sense 2WD or AWD from a monthly standpoint.
I do not plan on keeping this car.
Can you break down the residual and MF for both?
I'm in Florida and more than likely would be purchasing in June.
I'm assuming 36 or 48 months with 15k miles, again, the monthly cost is key.

Looks like there's a small difference in price b/w 3 and 4 years (from a monthly cost standpoint),
but not enough to keep it another year.
Was surprised the AWD has less of a residual.

I'm assuming a haggled price of $40k for the Touring 2WD as is, thoughts?

Is there a list somewhere of residualizable accessories? On the awd touring I'm interested in the rv of the $500 heated steering wheel and the $155 moonroof visor.

We don't have that information.

However, if it's on the official window sticker, it's residualized with the rest of the vehicle.

If not, I'm not certain it can be residualized at all and you'll pay 100% of that cost over the life of the lease.

Looking for terms for NJ for EX-L Navi 36/12 and 36/15 and also for Touring.

Last question, as I'm checking credit now...any differences between Preferred and Preferred-Plus? (I think those are the top two for AHF.)

36/15 numbers:

.00165 and 59% (EX-L Nav) or 57% (Touring). Add 2% for 12K

Anything above 660 is Super-Preferred; 659 or lower is 'standard'

I was at a honda dealership today in NJ and was told that the dealership now has a relationship with Affinity Credit Union and is able to lease through that bank. I was given a money factor of .00145 which is lower than that of HFS. .00165. This may be a regional price only, again this was in NJ.

Thanks for the information - however, there are potential end-of-lease issues when using a 3rd party bank. They may be more particular about what constitutes "normal" wear and tear.

I confirm the MF as .00165, but I show the 36/12 residual for the Elite AWD as 58%, not 62%.

The $1000 isn't enough to cover all those up front costs - what is the adjusted cap cost?

As is, with your prices, I get $605/mo before tax - what state and tax rate is this?

FWD residuals are higher..

Higher trim lines have lower residuals.

The MF is .00145 with this bank, lower than HFS, the residual is the same 62%. When I calculate it in my spreadsheet with taxes my total monthly payment is 397.74$. Please confirm if the numbers are close with the MF and residual I posted, .00145 and 62%, Net cap cost is 32,333. Thx

but thats with 3k down as cap cost reduction, which is a no-no. Im picking up a EX today in NJ, ill share details in full soon

I got the car last friday and ill be honest, I am not happy with the numbers. MSRP 35,280, negotiated price 34,966. I did also get a tow-hitch which is 365$ msrp. I put down 1600 as drive off fee's and paid a first month of 385. so a total of 1985$ to get out of the dealership with the car. with my math it becomes 67% residual with 12K / 36 months. The MF is .00145 with Affinity credit union. they also put in a 800$ Maintenance plan, which I am trying to get a refund on now, but the dealer is angry now that I want to refund that 800$, because he is losing his commission. Should I get the maintenance plan thats 3rd party cancelled?
