Looks like a crappy deal on the surface.

What is the MSRP?
Is the MSRP the same as the CAP cost?
With that residual, it sure looks like it. If so, you are paying full MSRP for the vehicle and this is a terrible deal.

55%/53% residual for P+/Prestige for 36/10

Current Audi program is scheduled to run through March 31st. It's typical for them to update it before then, but it rarely gets worse, before expiration.

Review all the numbers very carefully ... hate for you to have something slipped in at the last moment that will jack up the payment.

Lease calculations are no more complicated than 5th grade math - if your numbers and our numbers are different, something is being hidden or not accounted for.

Looks like the dealer is taking a big markup on the money factor.

Got a 2.0 AWD quattro s tronic for $31,250 today, list price was $37,025. it has the head unit with back up camera but no navi. 36mo/12k for $336 out the door. $2500 down includes tax and all fees and a little down payment to lower the monthly. I left the papers on the dealership desk but i think the MF was .00109 and 59% residual. was able to get in the top tier via audi financial. Very happy with this price and payment, what do you all think is it a legit deal?

I get $389/mo.+tax, assuming the NET CAP is the same as the selling price.

I guess you need a breakdown of the $1859. You'll have sales tax and an acquisition fee to account for.
Looks pretty close, without those exact figures. Not a bad deal.

For the e-tron the $4168 PHEV lease bonus, is that the Fed Tax Credit? How does that work with a lease, do they pro-rate it depending over the term of the lease?

As I understand it, the credit is applied at lease inception, so it would only affect that years taxes.

I think the bank gets the full $7500, but they only pass a pro-rated portion on to the lessee, in the form of a customer rebate.

Local dealer is offering this for an A3 premium 1.8T FWD lease, good deal?

289/month plus 2600 down which includes the acquisition fee.  3year 30,000 miles.  This is for a MSRP of 31.8k with an end of lease purchase cost of 18.14k.  Believe that works out to a RV of 57%.

Doesn't include tax, title, registration and taxes 6%..

What is the current MF and RV for these cars (premium 1.8t FWD).

Taxes are due on the new lease regardless of the trade situation. So, if the "total cost" is (depreciation + rent charge + taxes) * lease term, and your trade equity is more than that, I suppose it is possible to get a new car with $0 out of pocket.

I would make it a pre-paid lease, so if the new car is stolen or totaled during the lease, you would be refunded the pro-rated amount not used.

A lot of that depends on your state.

In some states, there is no trade-in credit against a lease, because the bank owns the new vehicle, not you. Especially, if you are in a state that just taxes the monthly payment.
