I pushed off talking to the dealer one more day hoping to get more responses. Any feedback is greatly appreciated! Thanks!!
I'm looking at a purchasing a XC90 2.5T FWD with the Versatility and Premium packages (MSRP: $41,905). Best dealer is offering is invoice, PLUS regional advertising fee and LESS the $2,575 Premium Package incentive.
Good deal or not? Would not seem to budge off this. Only two dealers in town and the other one, on an internet/fleet quote, offered the same.
Thanks for any help.
the car was actually a demo car with 6200 miles on it, but it is clean and still has the new car smell.
We were told that it has been driven by one of their executives and has been in good care. We were able to negotiate it down to $33.5K, and paid it with cash.
I think there's more to be had because Edmunds is showing a Manufacturer to Dealer cash back incentive of $2500. I pushed for this with the dealer, in addition to the complimentary Premium package, but they said it's for the V8's, which can't offer a complimentary Premium package since it's included on the V8's. I don't think that's true as the incentive would say that. I believe the dealer just won't let me have some or all of that incentive. Again, am I off-base here?
Thanks...
06 2.4T, premium package, convience package, versa package, winter package, res ( in headrests).
36 months, 15k miles per year
900 down ( first month and aquisition costs)
( free winter mats)
$625 per month
It looks like the Premium Package discount has been extended until January 9 but Volvo increased the base price of the 2.5T by $430 effective January 3.
Here's my question.... I will never tow anything with this SUV; (I don't expect it to drive like a sports car either.
I went into the dealership looking for a S80, even placed the deposit on the 80. Changed my mind two days later; after punching numbers on the XC90 vs S80 AWD. Seems the 90 is a better deal. Not to mention more room for the kids. Now the only question I have is about the motor size. I want to hear from real world owners.... so thank you in advance!!! I have only 48 hours to make my final choice!
I have finalized the deal; now the waiting begins! But I'm sure that I will enjoy the 90 very much!!
We were able to get a great price; compared to the stateside pricing.
XC90 V8 w/Touring Package; Heated Seats; Mud flaps; Park assist; Metallic paint and TTT & delivery for $42,200. With free Stateside delivery until '09. I'll be able to pick it up in March!
There is no wrong choice in your situation, just a matter of your driving preferences.
is that the FINAL price as you drive off or is that the negotiated price which doesn't include taxes, licenses/fees, etc.
What does anyone else think? How much more below $46500 should I shoot for? I've bought a Volvo demo wagon before.
What concerns me, if that demo damage shows on a VIN search, how will that affect my resale in 5-8 years (will keep at least that long).
"The only 2005 xc 90 v-8 we have left in stock is our demo. Its silver/toupe lt with about 2500 miles. Vehicle is loaded with nav system, climate, xnon, rear entertainment, running boards, convenience package, & touring package. Original msrp was $ 56670.0
Selling price is $ 46500.00, which is $ 6000.00 below factory invoice.
The vehicle has had previous damage of about $ 5000.00 to the right front fender area & hood. No frame damage & no air bag deployment."
Any help, thanks.
My husband knew the original K.G. and always said you get a cork screw with every car since you just been S*)#%&%. Do you like your vehicle?

Options: Premium Package, Climate Package, Wood Steering Wheel
MSRP: $41,420.00
Your Sale Price: $36,595.00 + fees (tax,tag,title/admin)
The dealer is telling me with tax, tag, and title/admin it will run around $37,250. Just wanted to see what anyone thought. Your feedback is greatly appreciated. Do you think on what you have seen out there that I could talk this dealer down some? if so what would your asking price be? Look forward to hearing your feedback.
The dealer wants out and you can protect yourself by leasing and having a GFV.

Also, the MSRP went up by $435 after the first of the year, so is the actual sticker on your car this amount or less?
There is a $2,575 in dealer marketing support on that vehicle/configuration.
I purchased our vehicle at the end of last year and paid invoice plus the $250 regional advertising fee less the $2,575.
Assuming the invoice price went up by $400 (versus the $435 MSRP increase) and you still pay the advertising fee, in your case, that would equate to invoice, plus the $250 fee, less about $2,150.
I am interested in purchasing an Xc90 after doing all of the comparison shopping...I am exausted....Toureg, the less expensive Pilot.....I am now about to pull the trigger but have not found any deals that come close to yours...
I hope you still review these boards because I would love to know where I could go to get a similar deal...
Please advise....
Thanks

Part of the delay in my getting a XC90 was that I wanted Titanium Grey ONLY and must be a 5 seater. There were lots of 7 seaters but I wanted the floor storage in the 5 seater. The third row was entirely useless for me.

Just bought a new '06 XC90 2.5T AWD metalic paint, prem, vers, for about $4000 below invoice with <= 30,000 miles maint svc free, on Jan 31. Overall a very positive buying experience. It appeared that on the last day of the month for the free prem offer and the salesperson wanted to make his monthly quota. I suspect the free prem offer will be back again soon, otherwise the vehecle is too expensive comparing to the MDX.
