Hi, Looking for residual and MF for 2015 and 2016 Grand Cherokee Limited 4X4 in Wisconsin. 12K/36. 5.6% sales tax. Also payment on MSRP 42,750 with sale price after incentives of 34,000. Is acq. fee waived on 2015?? Thanks

Limited:
.00029 MF and 64% residual
.00005 MF and 55% residual

You don't want to lease the Sport, or any of the Cherokee models for 39 months.

The money factor is marked up from the base .00014.

The $3000 upfront? Is that all coming from out of your pocket? There should be some sort of lease cash or rebates to cover part of that?

Money factor markup adds about $18/mo.

The money factor is marked up because of my tier 4 rating i believe. The $3000 upfront has 2196 rebate. I am only paying $900 as down payment.

If the money factor was at base and with $900 down payment would it be a good deal?

Yes... I would say so.

I doubt the markup is for Tier 4. The tier 4 markup is .00159 above base.

On the other hand, dealers are allowed to markup the base rate by .00042 for extra profit.

.00014 + .00042 = .00056

Coincidence?

Have you driven all three? In situations like this, our advice is to make a deal on the car (SUV, whatever) that you'll enjoy driving for the next three years, not necessarily the one with the best deal.

All have their pros and cons.

If I'm picking, I'd take the Escape or the Toyota for reliability. Chrysler products have been dicey, lately. I'm not really a fan of the RAV4, though.

I get the same payment if I subtract the rebate from the selling price. Looks to be a solid deal.

Hi there,

Looking for the best MF & RV for Cherokee Sport Altitude V6 4x4 for 3y/36k? Top credit. SF Bay Area. Willing to buy down MF with security deposits if possible.

Also, what are current incentives?

Oddly, a local dealer gave me MF & RVs from CC & USBank, and USBank had a lower MF for same RV, how does that make sense? I thought CC (Chrysler/Fiat) offers more aggressive lease terms to help dealers sell cars, independent banks have no such agenda and therefore shouldn't offer as aggressive terms.

Finally, this dealer has 160 model year 2016 Jeeps in inventory now, I'd think they'd be highly motivated to sell cars in July, but with such high inventory, isn't it better for me to wait until August-end since they'll be even more motivated as 2017 inventory starts coming in? Appreciate your thoughts.
