What is the negotiated capitalized cost?

What is the breakdown of the $3000 due at signing?

Dealer didn't give me either cost or breakdown of the $3k.. . Just called me back and now giving me car w sticker $51,195 at $559 a month w same $3k out door and taking last three payments on current lease .. NJ dealership

Dealers love to give you the OTD amount and monthly payment, without any of the supporting numbers. Can't tell you if it's a good deal without all the information.

If they continue to be non-transparent, it might be time to find another dealer.

If they are taking it in trade, you want to make sure you aren't leaving money on the table ... check the payoff value and trade value .. there might be more than $1500 in equity. If so, get the dealer to cut you a check.

Confirm the net cap cost with the dealer - I am using $44,605 (sell price less cap reduction).

Sales tax rate is 8.1%. I had been using 9% so this brings me closer to $517 for monthly payment.

Using $51,494 as the MSRP, $47,2256 as the net cap cost, .00058 MF and a 42/15 residual of 56%, I get a payment of $555/mo plus tax.

I would confirm the net cap cost with the dealer, since you are paying the taxes and fees up front.

62% and .00130 are the correct numbers.

Using the prices given, I get $542/mo. However, if I subtract the $3100 cap reduction from the adjusted price, the payment drops to $452/mo.

Ask the dealer what MF they are using and what the true net cap cost is.

And, get a breakdown of the $1900 in "fees". Ohio collects sales tax on a lease up front, in addition to the standard lease fees.

I was given two options. $1000 out of pocket for $556 plus tax and no out of pocket for $587 plus tax which equals $629 a month. If I am understanding correctly if I need to pay fees,lease should be $519 plus tax a month. If fees are included in lease what will be a great price to pay.

We do not track the selling prices; take a look at the last page or two of this discussion to see what other people have been able to negotiate.

The Lexus numbers are regional, so both .00100 and .00130 are correct, depending on where you live.

Those are the base rates for top tier credit, but they can be 'bought down' with the use of MSDs.

Subtract 1% for 12K

Read back through the last page or two of posts to see what others have been able to negotiate as a discount; we don't track selling prices.
