2016 Lexus RX350 Lease Questions

Hi. I am looking into leasing a new RX and I saw this offer here in FL:
$419* MO.
36 MOS.
$3,279* DUE AT SIGNING.
Offer based on MSRP of $43,040 including delivery, processing and handling.
How did they get to that monthly payment? The only models available in the dealer are with a higher MSRP of 50,000
I am new in the leasing game and I will be trading a 2013 Nissan Altima to use as payment etc.

What does the $2500 cover?

I get $537/mo before tax using your MSRP and Cap Cost; assuming 6% tax, payment is $569/mo.

Cash Down $2,000.00
Monthly with taxes $507.23
Tax Rate 6.25%

he says that all fees, cash down, taxes are applied to the monthly.

so I assume that the $1,975 fees are added on top of the selling price. Net Cap Cost would be = 48,323.

That is how I come up with the same $507.23 when I add the "cost" of $1,975 and MF .0013. Is my math correct? It seems a good deal. Do you think?

If I use the $48,323 as the adjusted cap cost, then I get a payment of $569/mo. Using the selling price, I get $508/mo. Both payments are with tax included.

So, something doesn't seem to add up.

We don't recommend making a cash down payment on a lease - that money would be lost if the car is stolen or totaled. And, it gives you a false sense of what your true cost of the lease is.

We wouldn't recommend using the trade equity as capitalized cost reduction. If the car is stolen or totaled, you would lose that money. You might want to look into making multiple security deposits instead to lower the money factor.

The June numbers are set to expire today. New numbers released tomorrow; we should see them later this week.

Since we only have one region's documents this month, can't tell you what those differences might be.

I show the 27/12 residual as 67%. Make sure they aren't quoting you 27/10. Dealers cannot alter the LFS residuals.

The price looks good. You could save $35-$40 per month, by going with a 36 month lease.
