2) Seems like people are getting 10-12% off MSRP. Ballpark (looking at truecar) Anyone lease in AZ and get a great deal they can share details on?

36/15 59% and .00120 gas or .00115 hybrid. Extra miles are deducted at a rate of .20, or $1800 total.

MRSP is $53817, total discount is 3315. Is the discount too small, comparing with other people got lately?

This is the information they sent me:

the cap cost is the 979 which needs to be listed on the buyer's order but it is the rebate that gets deducted at the bottom. ​ They do have a comp. first month which we use in the rebate to lower the monthly payment. ​ Also, ​ the list price is $51,533.

Right, $51,533 is the MSRP

What we also need is the adjusted cap cost, which is the selling price plus any taxes or fees that you are not paying up front, less any cap reduction you are making (the $979, if I understand correctly).

I get $664/mo before tax with those numbers.

I thought tax was calculated against the monthly payment in AZ, not collected up front. Confirm with the dealer what the $2029 represents.

If I use the adjusted residual amount, the payment goes to $712/mo - more in line with the dealer quote.

Can I negotiate the MSRP price off this offer?
Also I have a credit score above 750, what kind of MF and RV numbers am I looking for going to a dealer?
Also, should I wait for another offer maybe?

.00120 MF and 59% residual for 36/15. Complimentary 1st payment.

The advertised lease deal from Lexus already assumes a dealer discount. You should always negotiate the purchase price on a lease.

With the new cap cost, I get $558/mo with .00120 or $542/mo with .00100 --- before tax.

So when I received a quote from the dealership it showed:
Selling Price: $53,674.00
Discount: $5,145.00
Rebate: $500.00
Adjusted Price: $48,029.00
Total Fees: $1,264.55
Net Price: $49,293.55

and it said my payment would be $550 with $2000 down on a 36 month/ 12k miles with my tax rate being 8% and my money factor being .001. But according to my calculations my payment should be $523.01 after tax. Then the guy sent me a screen shot (that I attached to this post) on how he calculated my payment and I just don't understand it at all. Is he right or am I doing something wrong?

I agree with the dealers numbers ... not sure where your numbers are different.

Thank you Michaell for your reply, but I'm confused about how the dealership go the Initial Cap Cost of $48,759.14 and the Adjusted Cap Cost of $48,172.61 from the screen shot I posted. Shouldn't the Initial Cap Cost be $48,529 and the Adjusted Cap Cost be $47,293.55 when the adjusted price before the rebate is $48,529 and the Net price is 49,293.55 after all the fees and rebate?

If I understand it correctly, the $48,759.14 is the negotiated price - confirm that with the dealer.

Taxes and fees:
Acquisition fee - $700
Taxes - $1593.76
Total Initial Fees - $117.75 (find out what this is)
Total Upfront Fees - $419 (find out what this is)
DMV Amount - $388 (is this for one year or all three?)

You are putting in $2000 and there is a $500 rebate.

Have the dealer explain the math to you -- I agree, there isn't a direct connection between the fees and such and the adjusted cap cost.
