Does the MF/RV change based on the state? If not, is it fair to say the RV bounced back from March (57%)? Is that common? Do packages matter? I custom ordered an X1 shipped from Europe and should be able to pick it up this weekend. Want to know how firm I can stand on what I think the lease note should come out to.

I confirm the .00135 and 59% for 36/15 this month.

BMW numbers are regional, but we've never seen any substantial differences in the regions for anything except the i3.

Gross cap: selling plus acquisition fee of $925 is 39,219.23
Minus loyalty $500 allowance gives adjusted cap cost at $38,719.23
Residual is $25,819.90
Base rent 432.53 plus CT tax $27.47
Total $460

I paid absolute zero at signing and first $460 was included so only 35 payments for me to do

On the paper it says I was supposed to pay $1203.68 at signing. That somehow got rolled into the lease. Not sure how but doesn't matter at this point.

I worked with a few dealers to get to these numbers. I think I did OK. Thoughts?

Two related questions. Any sense on how June 2016 X1 lease MF/resid/incentives are shaping up (I assume it's hard to say, but just wanted to ask) and can we expect deals to get better for 2016 X1s as we head into the summer and get closer to 2017 X1 availability/orders?

Hi, dealer quoted $440+taxes and $1949 drive off including first month, registration and acquisition fee. The cap cost was quoted as $35550. In Northern California. Seems a bit high but would like to confirm numbers. Thanks!

Just picked up a fully loaded X1 with MSRP $46520 for 36m/10k mile at $399.93 lease a month excluding tax. Total doc fee and tax came out to be around $3100 plus $2800 MSD to drive off. I negotiated selling price down to ~42k before $1000 corporate fleet discount. MF was 0.00138-0.0002 (fleet discount) - 7x0.00007 = 0.00069. Without fleet discount lease was around $445/month.
 
This is in NJ. I think you should aim for at least 9% off MSRP for the X1. If you have fleet discount make sure not to tell the dealer during the negotiation. Once you agree on the selling price then you can mention the extra $1000 off. My expeience is that you should be really aggressive in getting the selling price down. Anything less than 9% off MSRP you are leaving money on the table, regardless how much money dealer is telling you they are losing.

I've been offered this deal on a 2016 BMW X1 - 36months/10K. I'm in Mass.

MSRP: $45,135
Negotiated Price: $39,495
MF - 0.00138 (negotiated down from 0.00160)
61% residual
Sales Tax is 6.25%

Fees are $521.5 in document and registration fees

Total payment at drive off would be $1993.45 (1st month's payment + acquisition fee + doc fees)
Monthly payment would be $450.

I'm considering doing MSDs (7)- which would bring the payment down to $416.
I could also just do MSDs and roll all the fees into the capital cost.

Just not sure which way to go?

Thanks for your reply Michaell! When I visited BMW dealership today, they showed me couple of loaner vehicles which has around 5k miles on it but great discount on MSRP. Still the lease price/percentage match like the new X1s. Is there something I should be worried about if I go with that option?

The residual will be manually adjusted by .25/mi; you'll want a corresponding discount from sticker to compensate. Otherwise, why lease a demo?
