... and you're guaranteed to have a big smile for all of 06! Congrats on a great car!
2006 Mazda3 i Sedan
Nordic Green
5-speed Manual

Invoice came to $14,151
What can I expect standard on the '06 that isn't on the '05 in the way of tires? Also, is there anything else I can add to the car that will still keep it within a good price range for me?
Thanks!
See if they'll "throw in" (or give you a discount price on) a set of "Premium Carpet Floor Mats" for you. The standard ones that come with the car are ... well, let's just say they're the equivalent of "dryer-lint-covered fruit rollups."

Thanks

Sorry 'bout my little, er, "cranial gas passage" ...

FYI, i already put down a deposit on a 2006 winning blue MZ3 S 4 dr, 5 spd, with the only option being side air bag ($290). the final price including destination before tax is $17,000. is that an ok price? i bought it in NJ. the dealer i bought it from seems to have way more 5spd in different trims than other dealers, i chk out quite a lot of others.
I knew about ebay. I missed the zoom-zoom event in my area so I would get it that way if they will take 2.

MSRP: 20710, dealer quote 19700, invoice 19335 based on edmund. Will try to get it down to 19500.
According to http://www.nationalcorporatepricing4u.com/CarResearch.htm the invoice price is $20,484.00 after destination charge / MSRP after destination charge $22,010.00
I got a quote for $19,837. Seems like a good deal?
I'm going to the dealership on Friday to look at the differences between the S Grand Touring and S Touring.
Here's my e-mail that I got:

The Mazda3 with 17 wheels has costly tires that don't last very long so this would be worth hundreds (thousands if you keep your car a long time) of dollars.
I would take the extra step of making sure you know when the dealer will actually replace the worn out tires. Get it in writing up front. Seems like a straight forward thing - but many people replace their tires before they are completely worn out (down to the wear bars - normally 2/32 of an inch). You may want to replace tires early - if you live in an area that gets some snow/ice but not enough to justify snow tires - you want the extra tread for the winter season or you are taking a vacation - and plan to drive several thousand miles and don't want to worry about your tires. Some dealerships will work with you on these things - but others will hold firm & only replace them when they are completely worn out. I know of one case where the car had two tires that were down to the wear bars and two tires were not yet completely worn down - and the dealership would only replace the two worn tires. Maybe not a big deal - but I like to replace all 4 at the same time.
They don't have a stand alone option for the wheels like they did in 2005.
Anyway, what are the 3 coupons, and how do yo find each one? $500 off sounds good to me!
2020 Acura RDX tech SH-AWD, 2023 Maverick hybrid Lariat luxury package.
I do have some padding even thought my friends tell me I don't).
I also had a concern about the AC. I heard and read that in HOT temps, does not do well. I live in Florida, and that's another important selling point for me.
The dealer is offering me, I think, a pretty good deal with everything on the car except leather (don't think an option on the 'i' anyway, and not ABS package which has the side airbags.
Need a little boost to get me over the edge to decide. From what I have read about deals others were getting, I think mine is good, as it is out the door price too.
Since I will be using up the 50,000 miles warrantly within two years due to travel to work, would others recommed extended warranty, and any idea of the cost.
Thank you, Miss Indecisive
(and I have driven about 15 different cars in 2 weeks, and I like this one the best for the economical ones so far). I like the PEP.
another forum devoted to the Mazda3 (which I won't name) has started a poll regarding owners' AC satisfaction.
Currently 83 votes have been cast, with Poor currently ahead of Average, Good, Sucks, and What AC? No Excellent votes have been registered - and no reports of hanging chads!

I'm still unsure of the dealerships. The closest to me, Tony March Mazda is out. The internet manager didn't want to talk numbers over the internet... :confuse:
Anyway, I was hoping to get a good deal on a left over 05... Not too much to pick from...

I assume you know the Gerber coupon expires on 9-30-05. Mazda is killing it then.
There are also some 'zoom-zoom' coupons up for sale. Don't know when they expire.
Real nice of Mazda now that there are no Mazda 5's for sale...was planning on geting one, but not for awhile I guess.
Hope you get a Gerber coupon before 9-30.
About $18500 OTD ? Without any rebates or specials (Not sure where to find them).
Any help would be great.
*edit* The Salesguy said the sticker on the car without Appearance 3 and spoiler was $17400.
The question is, does the deal they're offering you on the '05 make up for it? Have you asked this dealer what sort of price they'd give you for an '06 with the equipment you want?
Just curious- why did you choose the "i" model over the "s"?
I just saw this forum and joined. I am planning on buying a Mazda3. Can people here guide me on how I can obtain the 3 coupons every one is talking about. Gerber, ACOG and Zoom Zoom. Where can I get more info on this? I even searched ebay and could not find anything
Also can this be combined with the Mazda S plan etc pricing?
Thanks
2006 MAZDA3 S, 5SPD A/T, Rear Spoiler, Side Sill Extentions
Within 20 minutes I got two calls , the first one quoting $17,778, about a hundred over invoice, + TT&L. They both said they would beat anyone in town. I am going to test drive the first one tomorrow night and the one who didn't quote me (I didn't ask at the time) on Thursday.
Tomorrow Morning I will call back and try to get a quote from the second guy that I can take to the first guy.
Is this close to the best deal I can get, or should I go in expecting a fair bit less?
