Also, Lexus announced a “Golden Opportunity Sales Event” in July which offers a complimentary first month lease payment which I understand. However, Edmunds mentions a "Leasing Bonus Cash" incentive of $2700 starting Jul 5 to Sept 6. I do not see this Leasing Bonus Cash mentioned on the Lexus site or any Lexus dealer site. Is this a Mfg incentive or a dealer incentive and is it available in the NY/NJ area?

The $2700 is a factory to dealer incentive; use that knowledge to negotiate your best price.

I'm in the process of leasing an ES - dealer is indicating the lease cash/comp first payment is applied as rebate to reduce cap cost. You may be charged sales tax on the rebate depending on tax regs in your locale.

Residuals are updated quarterly.

Fewer months to deal with the depreciation.

Second dealer is marking up the MF, then suggesting you can buy it down with MSD. MSD is a good idea, but better to start with the base MF.

I have a quote for an ES350 List of $45,4xx with a base cap of $37k - but the Residuals and MF seem really high (I don't have the details of those yet) - net net 36/15k yr, $5k down $430/month which I think the MF equals around 8%...seems high? What am I missing? Thx

The MF is regional, but we haven't seen a big variation in the past. Residuals are nationwide.

What's hurting is that GA assesses sales tax against the entire selling price. If that is added into the cap cost, the payment goes up quite a bit.
