I don't get it... why are this and the Q45 so bizzare and limited in appeal when Infiniti seems to have really caught the market pulse with the G and M classes? I hope we are just at a weird point in their product cycle and these models haven't caught up yet. Just imagine what a Q45 with the style engineering and appeal of the M45 might do on the marketplace... the M already competes well above it's price range
As for the Q, one of the reasons it doesn't sell well as it not really any more car than an M, but it costs more. Before the new M, other makers were providing a more car for the dollar.

Also a blue STS and several 300Cs.

2009 BMW 335i, 2003 Corvette cnv. (RIP 2001 Jaguar XK8 cnv and 1985 MB 380SE [the best of the lot])
Everyday on the highway there is this white QX56 driver who thinks he owns the roads, he passes people on the right shoulder, changes 3 lanes at a time without signals, and he uses the right and left shoulders during traffic jams. Talk about irresponsible driving by a huge SUV.
Interior-wise, no contest. Lincoln nailed it.
WRX STI, brand new, post-facelift, drove past me. Ugly. The thing looks too old, you see the rear of it and it looks like somebody modded up an old 80's sedan. The new front, I have no problems with, but the overall design needs a rest.
Oh, and, pretty rare for my parts (very few Chrysler dealers) but I saw THREE PT Cruiser's on the bus this morning. The other afternoon, I saw three Suzuki Liana's (Aerio to you) on one drive. It's unsettling. Rare cars tend to cycle here.

I also saw the new Yaris on a Canadian TV commercial, and an ad for the Acura CSX, which is the Acura-badged Civic. It does look better than a normal Civic.
The small van thing is called the Mazda 5.

I like the look of the Lexus, better....

It's just a guess on my part, of course, but I have a suspicion that the Zephyr will do very well for itself, providing some tough competition for the likes of Lexus, Acura etc.
What's fine for the Fusion is not for the Zephyr, and it's higher price.
Saw lots of new cars this AM:
Lexus IS - still not common around here
Civic coupe
Commander - box on wheels, chromed up so it looked cheesy
Ranger Rover Sport - huge wheels can't possibly go off road
A6 - large mouth bass
Tribeca - in that dark Maroon color

Also spotted another red Hummer H3.
And then, two exoitcs. A white SL55 AMG and a greyish brown Aston Martin DB9. Both are beautiful cars.
Strange detail - the rear window isn't nearly as big as it could be. I'm not sure why, as it appears to be rigid, but the glass area is relatively small, no bigger than the one on my Miata.

and, a 645 convertible (yes, I made sure it wsan't a Solara).

Spotted in my workplace's parking lot - new black HHR.
Correct. Though it's a very safe bet that Hyundai hopes the Azera sells a lot better!
He has a nice car, but still has to drive to work like the rest of us..

Saw a new 530i this morning. Still not digging the hump-back.

Funny, living in the conspicuous consumption capital of the northwest, I see SL55s fairly frequently, several per week anyway. Just cars to some people.
And also a grey GS300, beige Toyota Avalon, black Hummer H3, and a W12 Phaeton in white.
M
Also, saw a blue A3. I like it but I'm not really a fan of wagons and hatchbacks.
I saw a solstice as well, I prefer the Sky, saw them both at the NY auto show
Thanks for a reply..
GS300
Tribeca
The Tribeca looks better in dark colors. This one was black, with the lights on and the city lights reflecting off the paint, it really looks extremely modern. Much better than a white car looks in the daylight, IMO.

That's a first.

Also a jetta still set up for shipping (OK, I was looking at a dealer).
Odd thing, VW puts on temporary windchield wipers (with a neon green frame) for shipping. Strange. That, and the tie down hook is screwed into the front (they take of the side grills by the fog lights), and it looks heacy duty enough to tow the ship with.

I like the looks more or less, but it also reminds me of a dune buggy. I expect it to have sparkly metalflake paint.
Miata is much better sorted in that way.
