Great Views. Not a condo guy. If I have an adjoining wall/floor, I'm afraid my neighbors aren't going to like me playing "Saving Private Ryan" at reference levels.

I did see a real fixer upper yesterday with views as good as the ones you point out. House needed to be gutted and totally redone. But, it was priced at $99K. Would take $250K to get it to where I'd want it, though. Found that kind of interesting...not sure about the neighborhood, though.

I should have written it down. I may still have it in my GPS. Let me look.
@kyfdx...68 Grandview. It would have to be a complete teardown.

That interior....that's really cool. Sort of like the plaid seats in a GTI.

My wife and I LOVE those seats in the V60. Though Volvo's leather seats are so nice, it'd be a tough decision.

@graphicguy On the hillside, more or less below the view condos I listed before. There is a mix of new or renovated properties there (because of the view), and the total trash that needs torn down. Not sure I’d want that... depends on how bad you want a view. It’s not really a neighborhood, more of a road to access Spaghetti Nob, above.

OK...thanks. I was a little suspicious about the neighborhood. I like the view, but that view is also within walking distance from some other, much more desirable properties. Thought about what it would take to do a compete tear down and rebuild. Maybe when I was younger, as I’d like to act as my own GC. Now, not so much. Thanks for the input!

Just figured out the calculation on that v60. After making all the changes for NJ, I'd have to put up $4500 at signing if I wanted a $295/mo payment, for example. Ouch.

On the upside, it looks to be about 22% off sticker.

    Love those seats.

And that house, yard is way too step. I’m not doing that. Especially not with the house that is going to be our retirement place!

Agreed. That house is surprisingly garish for something so (relatively) small.

Much potential there, for sure. Maybe just dig the whole thing out from street level and stack a house on top of a nice garage. Hmm.... :D

Those belts were so awful. I think the "neat" factor on them ended after maybe two trips in the car, and then they were just annoying for the rest of time.

The car itself looks nice enough, as you say. I can't help but feel like the owner wants all the money in the world for it. Perhaps he should inquire with BaT.

I tried to look for Integra comps on BaT. Most of them are the 3rd gen, not 2nd gen like this one. There was a 151k mile GSR that brought $10K, but the GSR is much more rare for that body style. A few others in the $4-5K range with over 100K miles. Still, the people that are into these are really into these - especially in Gen X. I wonder if this price will look okay in a few years.

That's a pretty steep hill. If you built the typical three story with garage on the bottom, you'd be looking over top of the utility lines. Believe me, there is nothing that you want to see by looking down from there. ;)

Received notice from Acura today I can schedule my lease end inspection now and they'll waive 3 payments. Considering there's 5 left and I'm not inclined to eat any, we'll just wait.

For an RDX A-Spec with current incentives, an arguably generous (for Acura) discount of 8%, and only 1st payment/fees due at signing it still runs $500/month for a 36/7.5 term so no motivation there either.

when I leased mine the sales guy kept mentioning that they often do 6 month pulls. did not really matter unless we were waiting to lease and RDX when it was that time. At this point I don't expect to be re-upping on another lease. But you never know until the time comes!

My sis and BIL may be in the market for 2 cars. A tornado touched down in Toms River today, and it happened to be their neighborhood. Tore a big tree out of their front yard and dropped it across their house and cars. Luckily it did not break through the house. Tough to see the damage to the cars just yet from the pics she sent, but I’m pretty sure at least her Equinox is a goner.

J/K there. I heard there was bad weather up that way. Sucks for them, but lucky if it is just the cars. That is a lot easier to deal with than a wrecked house. And of course, thank goodness no one was hurt.

I’d love to nab an E12 M535i; it’s the first ///M car based on a production model. BMW Motorsport dropped in a 3.5 liter M30 from the E23 735i and added suspension and brake tweaks as well as some bespoke exterior and interior bits. It never made it across the pond officially. I do know that at least a couple were brought to the US in MAC transports in the ‘80s- a convenient method to evade US customs and the associated DOT and EPA bureaucratic morass.

    Ouch on both.

Really tough to tell but the Equinox looks to have taken the harder hit, but the Fusion lost two pieces of glass.
