More tropical weather on the way it seems...we just can't catch a break this year it seems! Looking to be a rainy/windy few days starting tomorrow. Working the next two days so will bring the necessary rain gear. As long as the winds aren't super gusty, we should be fine.
But seriously folks, we've had enough of this crazy weather!!

Just did the Sirius/XM renewal at $5.99/month for the next 12 months. Got a weeks credit as last years plan ends a week from today. Was seriously gong to cancel but decided it's so seamless having it in the car & all my devices, well worth it for one more year. Wife did hers last night for the same price so glad it's all done now.

I renegotiated SiriusXM for both vehicles back in May, the bottom line went up from $6.48 per vehicle per month to $7.77. I'm not sure whether their rate changed, or the add-on fees/taxes changed, or whatever. Doesn't matter, all that counts is what you wind up paying, and for me it's worth $7.77.

I'm starting to see Integras sprinkled here and there. The Red with Black/Black Emblems & Wheels looks nice, it looks fantastic in Blue, I dig the black. I saw a White A-Spec the other day that looked good too.

I liked the one I sat in at the dealer. would want to drive one though to see if I really was interested. It did have horrible rear visibility though.

apparently I am not the only aspiring Maverick mogul in my neighborhood. on my morning walk I went by the house of the guy that has the other one (that I know of). and saw that he now has 2 in the driveway, one with a temp tag on it. both Cactus gray. Not sure if one of them is going away or he wanted 2 for some reason. will have to monitor that. I have not seen him out any time I was walking by to talk to. some day.

having 2 in the household is fine if you got multiple drivers for them, but really should at least get different colors!

My dealer has a Black/Black 6 speed. No idea if it's spoken for or not but I do know it's available at MSRP and no additional dealer packs. I have yet to see one in person around here.

C&B process is a bit slow, it seems. Couple of you have sold there. How long between original submission and live listing did you experience?

I've very anxious to see how it pans out. I very much doubt I'll lose money, but anything is possible. Any guesses from the masses? My guess isn't really fair, so I'll refrain from sharing. I am trying to be conservative in my mind. I looked at my total costs today, and they were a little higher than I initially thought.

I’m going with 8k on the Gloria.

BTW…getting zero legitimate interest in my MiL’s Outback. I have it on FB Marketplace and Autotrader.com priced right on KBB. All the buying services hit it 3k back of that so I am holding out for a private sale as long as I can.

I think it'll pull $9-10k, @qbrozen given that it is C&B and that brings with it a unique target audience. In any other medium, I would say closer to $7500.

Odd. Although, at least on Marketplace, listings on vehicles that are not bottom-scrapers always seem to have fewer hits than the latter. However, when I do have a hit, it's usually a serious inquiry. That said, lower 48 seems to be a whole different word when it comes to cars on Marketplace. I couldn't believe how long it took to get a response from a seller when inquiring about their offering(s)!

Happily, when I tried to sell a few items, like the furnace in our Ohio house, I got legitimate interest and quick sales.

One note I think I failed to mention. Well, Ok, 2 notes. 1 is that I did NOT put new tires on. I had planned on it, but then it occurred to me that the buyer might not like what I put on, in which case I've wasted the money. Maybe they want winter tires or summer tires or want to change the wheels. The other thing, and the only real fault I could find, is the upper blend door clicks on startup. Very common Nissan thing, evidently, and does nothing but be annoying. I listed both faults, along with a barely noticeable missing reflector, which I didn't notice until I was polishing it. Meanwhile, I didn't come upon a single scratch that did not come right out with polishing. The paint is truly amazing on it.

86(F) here this afternoon. A little too warm for my taste, I'm looking forward to some cooler weather.

On that Subaru Outback, I do believe the interest is going to be directly proportional to the amount of annual snowfall.

We were 80 yesterday and today. I’d like some fall crispness in the air as well.

The Outback is a 16 Limited, 114k and asking 15.9. Got it for her in June after she totaled her 05 Forester and then her health took a turn and she can’t drive.

Probably going to be a victim of timing and the market. She received a nice settlement on the Forester but of course we paid too much for the Outback. She lived 80 miles away at the time so we wanted her in something safe and reliable but now we’ve moved her closer. It is what it is at this point. Just want to cash out and be done with it.

I’ve threatened to pass it on to Jr. He was not amused. Apparently a green Subaru wagon would not be the envy of the HS parking lot.

While a milagephobe like me might not want a car with that odometer reading, just about anybody else should be drooling over a lifestyle car like a Subaru. Have you checked comparable vehicles for sale? I checked Autotrader and didn’t find much. Seems to be a rare car in Georgia.

He’s in the well used 328i in my sig. It’s beginning to nickel and dime us so the comment was only half way in jest. He loves it though, wants to keep it forever. He washes it so often that I’m afraid he’ll wear the finish off.

I had a rebadged Opel, 98 Cadillac Catera. It was a very nice car when it wasn't at the Cadillac service department. It went through 3 heater valves in less than a year. Multiple check engine lights, engine that stuttered at certain speeds and hvac failure. The entire electronic control panel died. Luckily all covered by warranty and they always provided me a nice loaner. Perhaps not all the car’s fault, poorly trained mechanics? But still… and my last Cadillac.

Sounds like a nice one! How long have you had it advertised? Might take a couple-three weeks to get the right person interested. Stick with it!
