Curious as to why you sold the newer Wrangler and not sold the 2022 model? Do like the color of the 2022 better though. Have driven many of them at work and personally, just not a fan of they way they drive. The concensus at work seem to agree with me...the ride is just too rough for everyday driving. I prefer the 2-door version like the one I saw yesterday being rented at the rental center. Got to drive a 2021 BMW 330i at work yesterday and enjoyed it. Took me a few minutes to get the audio and a/c working correctly but was impressed with the acceleration when needed and the overall ergonomics of the interior. Would I want to own one? Doubtful but, if I did, I'd get a Mini Cooper instead because they're the perfect size for my needs. Lastly, passed a new Chevy Bolt in the ice blue color I was about to put a deposit down on & really liked the color and it really is the perfect size. Am thinking of waiting till production of the 2024 model starts to finally pull the trigger. Especially if the free home charger installation is still offered, just makes total sense for us to do it. My driving situation is really perfect for this vehicle as I don't drive much anymore, fill up maybe once every 4 weeks & have finally come to terms with the 200 mile range of the smaller of the to Bolt's offered. From my figures, I'm doing not even 300 miles/month at present so even charging at home once a week would be plenty. Figure that as long as a family has one gasser for the longer trips and one EV, it could definitely work out pretty nicely. I'm in no hurry to get one right now, I'd be happy to get it for a birthday present next early November, in no hurry here. And hopefully, the rates for car loans will go down a bit as I'm going to have to finance any new vehicle I get as do not want to mess with the portfolio in these cray times. But yes, I'm, about ready to put a deposit down on a Bolt!

Take the Accent in for it's last gratis oil change at the Miami dealer on Monday. When we bought it, the current program was not offered but they gave my kid three free oil changes just to seal the deal, as they weren't making much on this unit...or so they said. Called the local store across the street and they wouldn't honor it for some reason so off to North Miami I go Monday right after lunch to get 'er done. My daughter no longer lives in South Miami anymore since she transferred to Boca Raton earlier this year for work, a good thing, so no more driving an hour to Kendall to visit. And also about time to do the song & dance with Sirius/XM to renew the service. Considering I've got close to 1000 songs in my personal music file, don't really need to continue the service but if they'll give it to me for the same price as I've currently got, why not. So come Monday, I'll see what I can do. And if not, I'll be fine without it.

The first Colorado CCBA longroof meeting was held this afternoon. I had the chance to drive the MB that @breld picked up not long ago. That thing is fast … and quiet.
The V60 is much lower to the ground than I expected.

Looks like Breld came real close to curbing that wheel! and of course, seems appropriate his car is running a temp tag.
At this point I think the hate is more tradition than anything. Plus an X3 or RDX is really a car, not what I would consider an "SUV". that would be a Tahoe or Durango. Fine to hate driving those!
my RDX drives just like a taller TLX, with a more comfortable driving position and ease of entry! so mostly a raised station wagon.
if you just prefer a separate trunk, I can see not liking a CUV. but it seems odd to like station wagons but be anti CUV. Or you can just get an Outback, so nobody will ever agree which one it is!

From a towing perspective, my Q7 is a great truck: Perfect for pulling (both trailers and vehicle recovery). But, the interior space usage is just awful. It's very much a station wagon (except that I've driven a few wagons with way better space usage).

My wife has SiriusXM, but I've never had it. After a service visit to the dealer, I got a free 3-month trial, and refreshed it. It's okay, but when driving 10 minutes at a time, I'd just as soon listen to the local radio. I'm positive I won't pay for it, in this car.

I might be missing something but Carvana has a few of these Rubicon 4xe 2022 models basically brand new and most for under $60K. I would think they would have to sell that at least for $65K plus to make any money.
Ex, how did you get that "recurring renewal at promotional rate" plan? Hate playing this game every year with them. Think that $5.99 is a fair price point, at least for the amount I do listen to it. Don't really need it as I've said before but it's a little gift to myself, just because.

same thing happened to my neighbor maybe 20 years ago. Local dealer he for some reason used to sell an InFiniti (the maxima rebadge). I forget all the details, but same basic situation. Car disappeared, money did not appear. I know he eventually got it resolved after a lot of hassle.
I just renewed a couple of Sirius subscriptions. They put me on a recurring renew at promotional rate plan. We'll see how that works out in about a year. I still like the DJ component of Sirius plus the sports broadcasts.
About 6-8 weeks ago the best I could get was the $5.99/mo. plus fees for one year, auto-payed monthly. They made me feel guilty when they said I have a “large account”, which means that they show all my cars that I have had with them despite the fact that I cancelled each when I sold them. I asked them why they just couldn’t delete these cars from me since they were no longer mine? Crickets…”they are working on” these cases - absolutely absurd and ridiculous!
Looks nice, low miles but $32.9k for a 4 yr old RAV-4! Too much!
Dealers are still assuming and hoping there are more suckers willing to overpay. But as unsold used and new inventory add up, while repos are increasing, and with wholesale values dropping precipitously they will be forced to reduce prices as buyers decline to buy whether from a bad economy, high interest rates making them unaffordable or just unwillingness to overpay.
I think this logic assumes that manufacturers will maintain production. If fewer new cars are available, then this could all turn around, making owning and driving a late model vehicle a luxury. If that is the case much of the average population would be driving old junkers especially if cheap leasing goes away.
And of course we can all hope that the economy turns around, inflation recedes, interest rated decline and we go back to the good old days.
clean car, low miles, but for that price I want a new one.
We bought our Quest at Woodbury. Sales manager at the time lived across the street, and I found out later my daughter's kindergarten teacher's husband was the service manager.

It was a good experience. Guy I dealt with said he has been there for nearly 20 years. I’ll PM you the name to see if was the same guy.
He has been gone for a while. actually moved to Myrtle Beach at one point and partnered in a Mitsubishi dealership. Did not seem to last long. Last I saw he was semi-retired and working as a salesman at Echelon Ford.
speaking of Mitsubishi, I had to run down to Walmart today and went past a Mitsu dealer. I am still amazed they still exist. Nice looking place, and seemed to have a bunch of inventory. never would have guessed! might explain why I have seen quite a few of them floating around the area.
We have many new Mitsubishi's in our fleet now. We picked up about 15 new ones last week up in Vero Beach. Drove decent enough though hated the audio system for the lack of two knobs to control the tuning. Not a vehicle I'd ever buy though the black over black Sport version was pretty nice, just not sure which model it was. It was a small one though and would fit on my side of the garage.

There is a reason why Carvana’s stock has plummeted from over $300 to $9 in only a little more than a year.
Someone has to be looking to take them over and get all that inventory.
Actually… I’d be willing to bet internally they are trying to bulk up as much inventory as possible to show more assets to potential investors

My Mom’s old RAV. IIRC original sticker was 33 and change.

It’s unbelievable. Hell the $26,500 they gave her for it was loony enough.

I got taken well care of there!

speaking of Mitsubishi, I had to run down to Walmart today and went past a Mitsu dealer. I am still amazed they still exist. Nice looking place, and seemed to have a bunch of inventory. never would have guessed! might explain why I have seen quite a few of them floating around the area.

He’ll get enough low ball offers on his own. He doesn’t need any of his poster buddies in here jacking him around too.
