.00099 and 59%. Need the adjusted cap cost to figure a payment.
any ideas on a cash price for 2017 quattro a4 premium plus+tech+sport+19inch in southern california..thanks!
Usually 4-6% off sticker, but given the newness of the '17 A4, not sure that's possible. Read back through this thread to see what others have been able to negotiate.
thanks...yes i've noted prices in the thread...but all seemed to be 'leased' and wondered if there was a differential between leased/cash...thanks again.

Michaell...thanks again for having this forum available...purchased an a4--msrp approx 48300...paid approx 45100 + taxes/fees etc(about 6.8% off)...hope this helps others....set max negotiation time at one hour before walking...finalized within 15 minutes....catch up with you all next time in a few years ;-)
I second foffo's earlier post. I've run lease terms for the new 2017 Audi A4 Premium Quattro, and the MFs are nowhere close to starting with .000~. These numbers are for April 2016 in Houston, TX.
They ran it with a trade-in for my current 2014 Audi A4 lease, in which I have negative equity. But I've backed into my numbers and calculated these numbers without the trade-in. I have the detailed fee sheet from my salesman, so I can verify every number except the MF, which I backed into. (This isn't final deal, just where we are on a first round.) 2017 Audi A4 AWD Quattro Premium S tronic MSRP: 45,190.00 Cap Cost: 46,387.69 [No incentives offered, but just first round. At min, will get loyalty discount. Audi adds in dealer services fees, TTL, acquisition fee, taxes, and document fees. Plus AudiCare at $849.] Term: 42 mos [I'm told this is the sweet spot term] Mileage: 15k Cash Down: $1,000. I never put cash down, but it's included in these numbers for now. Residual: 53% [from salesman] Monthly Pmt: $792
If I back into my numbers, I'm showing a MF of .000222. Which is insane. The only way I get to the payment they gave me is with these MFs. Note: I don't know if they've run my credit yet, but my credit score is 750+. [They're giving me an MF of .00075 on an Audi Q5, so I don't think they're assuming I suddenly have terrible credit just on the A4.]
Note on other Terms: 36/15k: 57% Res; .001975 MF 39/15k: 55% Res; .0021 MF 42/15k: 53% Res; .00222 MF
They keep talking to me about the Q5, including saying that you can get the Q5 at a great deal right now, so just drive it for a year and then get the new A4 when the dealership is more likely to negotiate on the price. So it is obvious that Audi is pushing the 2016 2.0 Q5s right now. I suspected they were inflating the MFs to deter me from the new A4, but maybe I'm just a conspiracy theorist.
How do I make sense of this? Appreciate your thoughts before I tell the dealership I know they're trying to skin me alive.

MF on 2017 A4 Quattro is .00099; dealers are allowed to mark it up for extra profit. But, holy cow, that's a lot of mark up.
Premium residual is 57% / 55% / 53% for 36 / 39 / 42 months, 15K per year.
Politely but firmly tell the dealer you won't sign a deal with an inflated MF. And, reach out to other dealers. Only takes one to meet your numbers.
Thanks for the response! That's exactly what I thought too. I'm sure they're not expecting me to know the numbers. I find when a woman walks into a dealership, the first question is always "what color do you want?"

Stay professional with all your conversations; a smart salesman (and dealer) will eventually realize you're there to make the best deal.
ok, I'll follow up on Joel's question. What if you take the below scenario, but for 10K miles, and assume $3,000 down, and that the cap cost in this scenario is a discount off of the MSRP? What kind of monthly payments are expected?
joelk01 said: Thoughts on a P+ with sport, tech, First Edition, MSRP of 50,250, cap cost of 45,275 on a 12/36 lease. Resid of 59% and MF of .00109, taxes 7%
Monthly lease payment of 552 with no additional cap cost reduction and fees of 383.85 NJMV, 299.00 doc fee, 795.00 bank fee.
Thoughts?
Joel is that cap cost with money down or are you getting that much of a discount on MSRP?
I'm negotiating a lease for a 2017 A4 Quattro Premium Plus with Tech, Sport, 19 inch rim package, and weather. 36 month/12k per year. MSRP is $49,450. Negotiated to $46,450 and the dealer is going to pay my 2 remaining VW payments totaling $652. I live in Orange County, CA.
The dealer agreed to $2,500 down and $557.43 per month plus tax.
Does that sound like a decent deal based on your specs?
Also - do you have any thoughts on going with Audi Care? Audi pays for the first maintenance, so not sure it is worth it....

What is the breakdown of the $2500?
Audicare adds 1% to the residual, so it may be worth the cost.
sorry Michael, I didn't see your response and questions from my post about the Plus with Tech and Cold Weather in NJ. It would be 10k miles / 36 mo. I was offered sale price of $42,902 with monthly lease payment of $459 (MSRP 48, 890). The sale price includes the silly inflated floor mats and USB cables, and wheel locks I didn't ask for. I'm inclined to ask those be deducted from the sales price. The monthly includes 299 doc fee, 410 registration and 299 window etch insurance (another fee I don't think I should have to pay).
