I got the below offer from a Dealer in Central Ohio for a 2017 Accord Sports SE, I am not sure if this is a good price.
That is a purchase quote - Ohio taxes the sum of the lease payments, not the entire selling price.
I confirm the .00070 MF and 58% residual for Sport SE on 36/12.
Using the MSRP and "Sub Total" prices, I get $246/mo before tax.
Confirm the adjusted cap cost and the money due at signing with the dealer.
Michael - it appears to have a lease option section with the lesser amount of tax indicated. I have noticed that some dealers are doing this to show all options available to the shopper.

i agree with the mod; you need the breakout of that 1654 - taxes are less then 800 also, the doc fee of 250 is optional in OH - there's a little more bargaining room in the sell price too esp. if there is 1500 lease cash this month
i see at least 500 of slop in that quote (for a lease) - get it down from 286 to 271 and you are OK
what is the sell price including the crazy doc fee? 398 + tax is very high; should be closer to 359 + tax + dmv fees
comp from Boston dealer weymouth): MSRP incl. destination $31,730.00 Lease Price Please contact us for pricing! (not revealed any more) Residual $16,816.90 (53% of MSRP1)
Monthly Lease Payment $311.00 $311.00 including 0.00% MA tax
CAVEAT: weymouth has been posting some crazy low prices since Sept. I added 1000 (28/mo) to their posted deal plus another 20/month for crazy FL doc fee. still way below your 398 quote
What is the term/mileage? $699 doc fee? Are you in Florida? Roll in taxable payments and fees. Pay non-taxable government fees upfront.
I knew I was forgetting something.
3 year / 36,000 miles
Yes, I'm in FL. Land of the ridiculous doc fee.
If I use $28,613 for the CAP cost, then the payment is $359/mo.+tax But, if we roll all those fees in, then only the first payment should be due at signing, right?
So, $40/mo, too high, and $1100 too much due at signing.... using their own numbers.

I requested a breakdown of fees and this is what I received. Maybe I'm not asking the right questions.
We have the option of a first month's payment and fees lease, where you would pay about $1,492 which includes $0.00 down payment, $339.57 first month's payment, $60.00 lease surcharge fee, $179.87 electronic filing fee (will likely be lower), $699.00 dealer fee and $699.00 tag and title fee (this fee will be lower, $85-215 for a transfer or $385-415 for a new tag).
With this, you would be looking at $339/mo before tax.
With just the fees, it would be more like $355/mo before tax.

Lease to buy? Cons: $595 acquisition fee Financing only locked in for 36 months.. then, used car finance rates 7 years to pay off your car, instead of five or six, increasing the amount of interest paid.
for a lease calculation, what number do you start with the base sticker/cap cost? i see different sites report different things, and when i use the invoice price, I get one price, when i use website prices, i see another. i do my leases with all fee's rolled into the lease and i just sign and pay first month.
example: EX: MSRP: 27365 sticker price: 25351 (invloce of car) add in the 1500 bonus cash. and use the above numbers for residual, and MF
i get: monthly payment: (without taxes or MF): 229.2486111 with taxes and MF: 274.0325052
i recently got a quote from a dealership and they listed there fee's as a total of: 1300. i don't know what they include. or break down into. if i subtract that from the bonus cash,
i get the following: Monthly without taxes or MF: 265.3597222 Monthly with taxes and MF: 312.4005608
that same dealership quote, i got the monthly payment of the car at 239 a month without taxes, (they didn't mention taxes so i am guessing they aren't in the price.) (all feel's are rolled into the lease)
when i play with the numbers. i am seeing a roughly a 2k reduction to net cap cost for them to come up with those numbers above the 1500 lease cash. so where does that come from esp on a 2017 accord ex?
or what sitcker price do i use to try and get more accurate numbers?
edit: please excuse any typo's or grammar errors, i typed it on a cell.

The adjusted cap cost is the negotiated price less incentives plus any taxes and fees you are not paying up front.
Ask the dealer what the $1300 includes - if they don't want to give you the details, it may be time to find another dealer.

Hi! Got a quote last night on a 17 Sport but I'm feeling like it's not a good one but want to clarify. We are starting at the sport because we love the wheels but wanted to also see pricing on an EX-L but after getting these numbers, we're scared to even see what they'd be on an EX-L. We are in PA and looking at 36/15..

I get $290/mo with those numbers, assuming a 9% tax rate.
Confirm the adjusted cap cost with the dealer, might be a fee or two not accounted for.
And, this is truly $0 drive off?
I got the same when I did my calculations as well. And yes, all fees are being rolled in to sign and drive. I'm wondering where the extra $36 a month would be coming from?

The only variables in a lease calculation are the cap cost and the MF. Honda dealers rarely, if ever, mark up the MF, so my guess is that there is an extra $1300 in the cap cost, for some reason.
