Hello, This is the quote I have from one of the dealer. Does this make sense? This is after several back n forth over email for negotiating selling price.
Any way I can reduce it further? I will be paying $2397 drive off amount upfront.
Dealer immediately agree on this....anything I should worry about?

2017 Honda accord LX CVT automatic
1.MSRP:23990
2.Sale Price: 18595
3.acquisition fee:595
4.miles per year: 15000
5. Term: 33 months
6. Residual : 56% (considering 33 months)
7. Money factor: 0.00045
8.doc fee : 299
9. License n registration: 209
10. Tax: 6%. ( State MD)
Monthly Payment (incl. tax): $173
Drive Off: $2,397 this includes
(First month's payment incl. tax: $173
Down payment: $0
Registration and doc fee: $508
Acquisition fee: $595
Tax on the sales price: $1,121)
I'm within a couple of dollars of that quote - pretty substantial discount from sticker.
However, I'd recommend cutting the down payment down to the registration and first month only (total:$681) and have a monthly payment of roughly $224/mo.

I'm a car leasing rookie and rather than sort this out myself I'm looking for some guidance. What would be considered a good deal on the below?
2017 Accord EXL 36 mo lease 10 or 12 k miles 19333 zip code (pa)
Putting some feelers out to local dealers, but your expertise would be greatly apprecaited.
I also need to get rid of a 2006 Honda Civic, but understand from previous comments that I should never make that a part of my lease negotiation. Is that correct?

.00045 and 55% for 36/12. No 10K allowance from Honda.
$1000 lease cash and $500 bonus lease cash.
Need to know the MSRP and negotiated price in order to model a payment.
Let me start by saying I'm not just going to list out every offer I get for comments. What I'm hoping for is a benchmark on what items I can negotiate to achieve the best deal.
2017 Accord EXL (area code 19333) 36mo/12k MSRP - $26,555 Sales Price - $24,531 (what is realistic in todays market) (I know its dealer dependent) Out of Pocket - $600 (includes first month, tax (6%), tags, and docs $135) Residual - .55 or $16,310.25 Acquisition Fee - $595
Monthly - $286.43 (includes tax)
Any benchmarks or guidance you can provide on achievable sale price and other items to negotiate would be greatly appreciated.

There is $1000 dealer cash + $500 bonus lease cash on this model. I'm guessing you can do a lot better on the sales price.
Dealer is asking $355 / month with $0 down, no money out of pocket other than the registration fee ($20). How does this look? Thanks for the help!
So, you have $1000 negative equity? +$595 acq.fee + $1000 tax? + 200 DMV/doc fees? + $355 first payment? Adding $3150 to the $23950 sale price = $27,100 adjusted CAP. I get $344/mo.
Michaell- Thanks for the info on the Passat. Out of curiosity, why are target prices discussed in this forum but not in the Passat lease forum? Now leaning towards the Accord Sport SE Should I use 16-18% below MSRP (with destination) as a target for a Texas CVT model? Should I consider the new $1000 dealer + 500 bonus on top of this number? What would money factor be for 15k for 24 and 36 month? Acquisition fee of $595 is a national fee, correct? Thanks...John in DFW.

There is more data on Accord pricing than Passat pricing; can't explain why.
My guess is any dealer price you get will already include the incentive money

Spot on, to the penny, assuming 9% sales tax.
If you're comfortable with the selling price, you're good to go.
Lot of car for the money. Should have held out instead of leasing my Jetta back in August.
Might have overlooked the red stitching on the Sport SE (wife not excited about that), so here is the counter I have on the 2017 Accord EX, Eastern PA with 9% sales tax
2017 Accord EX (36 mo/12 k yr)
MSRP - $27,215
Sales Price - $22,000(+595 acq cost) or $22,595 gross cap
Residual - $15,324
Monthly - $238.74 (incl tax) ($219.02 and 19.71 tax)
Expecting the out of pocket to be close to $506.08 (first month payment tax and tags)
Overall seems to be a pretty solid deal.. do your numbers agree?

I just got 2017 Honda Accord EX lease for $295 a month (18,000 miles a year for 36 months). $295 is out of the door (after sales tax of 6%). Truly $0 due at signing.
Could you help me figure out if I got a good deal or should have squeezed another $10-20 out of them?

Civic is 100% debt free. KBB values anywhere from $2,700 to $3,500k possibly on trade in.
MSRP - $29,655
Sale price - $24,200
36/12 k
$569 out of pocket
Residual .56 = $16,606.80
Disposition =$350
36 x $299 including pa tax

Suggest you use what you need to cover the up front costs of the lease, then have the dealer cut you a check for the balance.

Get the adjusted cap cost from the dealer - if higher than the sale price (and I'm certain it is), find out what's been added.
