Yeah.. the problem is the price. Even with a $2000 discount (which already includes that $1500 incentive), your adjusted CAP is as high as the MSRP. And, that's with $1200 due at signing.

Expand your search area to include more dealerships. You should definitely be able to knock this down closer to $300/mo., with $1200 upfront.

EXL 2017 Dealer near 46323,IN giving me a 335/month deal at 0 down. price he said for the war was 29,655. He hasnt given me any residual or any other information yet. This is my 1st car purchase ever in this country. any feedback is highly appreciated. What should i do ? The Bonus Cash should be a customer incentive, used as a CAP reduction.

I'm not sure if I'm posting this in the right forum. I currently lease a 2014 Honda Accord V6 EX-L Coupe 6-speed manual. I love the car and the 6 speed is getting more and more rare. I want to purchase the car and my lease expires in May. The lease is with Honda Financial, is it possible to negotiate the price of the car with them or any tips or suggestions. (I'm assuming the payoff will be the residual) I've leased quite a few cars, but always turned them back at the end.

The lease cash is a factory to dealer incentive. Use the knowledge to negotiate your best price.

Originally I was planning on leasing, however long term it makes more sense to own the vehicle in my current situation. Do you happen to know the incentives being offered for purchasing in the State of New Jersey? This will be my first car purchase ever.
I was going to email multiple dealers internet sales managers (10-15 or so) around the last 2 days of the month and tell them that whichever dealership will give me 2000.00 below invoice will get my business that day. Being as it seems the rebates look strong, I don't see this as to insulting. If the dealership accepts this offer and can email me back a Bill of Sale contract with all of that specific vehicles information and pricing then I will leave a credit card deposit to hold the vehicle until I am able to come down and finalize everything.
Does this sound plausible to you? I'm looking to get into any 2017 Honda Accord EX-L Coupe. Thanks in advance, I appreciate you and this forum as it has been very educational and informative!

It looking to put anything down except normal Dmv fees etc. any idea of a ballpark monthly price or any other guideline to make sure I don't get a bad deal. Much appreciated.

Residual will be reduced further for the extra 9000 miles. Most likely $0.10-$0.20 per mile.

Do you have a 39 months/12k residual for the Accord Hybrid EX-L? I saw only a 1% reduction in terms of residual value posted by Credit Union Leasing of America. If that's the case, it is a really good idea to go from 36 months to 39 months.

is for 15k miles correct? Because you said for an additional 9k resi would be reduced further but I'd only need an additional 3k miles to bring me from 15k to 18k.

3000 miles per year for a 3 year lease term = 9000 extra miles.

Assume .20 deduct per mile, then you deduct $1800 from the calculated residual. MF stays the same.

Subtract 2% from the 36/12 residual for 39/12.

However, if your dealer is looking to use a different bank, we don't have any visibility into those numbers at all.

Ok just closed deal on 2017 Honda Accord hybrid ex-l. 36 month 15k miles per year. I traded in my financed 2014 Nissan Sentra where I had negative equity of about $1700 they had to roll in. 

So so with $1000 down which includes first month payment I'm at $375 per month. I believe that's fair....I hope so..yikes...lol. Thanks
